Esta propiedad BEACHFRONT de dos pisos y medio tiene todas las comodidades modernas que encontrará en su hogar, entre las que se incluyen varios televisores, reproductores de DVD, Wi-Fi gratis, equipo de música, una cocina bien equipada con encimeras de granito y todos los electrodomésticos básicos, azulejos pisos en todo, un baño principal con bañera de hidromasaje, grandes porches frente al mar cubiertos, una ducha al aire libre y una parrilla de carbón estilo parque.

El dormitorio principal tiene una cama de matrimonio con vista al océano con camas Queen en las otras dos habitaciones. Además, la sala de estar tiene dos sofás para dormir tamaño Queen.

El hogar es un ambiente para no fumadores y amigable para perros (permitimos hasta 2 perros solamente, de menos de 45 lb con aprobación previa y por un cargo adicional). Toallas de playa, sombrillas y sillas de playa disponibles!

Abiding Place se encuentra dentro del área de 'Gulf Beaches' de St. George Island. Esta área se extiende 2 millas al este y 2 millas al oeste del centro de la isla. Las empresas locales, que incluyen tiendas de alquiler y regalos, restaurantes, pubs y más, están ubicadas en el centro de la isla. One of the bathroom shower/tubs did not drain, and wasn't very clean. Floors were sandy when we arrived. Furniture older and a bit worn. However, proximity to beach was great!

Short but sweet

We’ve stayed at this property before and loved it. Unfortunately we only got to stay two nights due to hurricane Helene, but the property was clean and we enjoyed the time we got to spend there. Hope to return soon.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My wife and I stayed here for 5 days to celebrate our anniversary. The house is very well maintained and very clean. We lived that it was literally on the beach. Location was fantastic! It was on a quiet area of the beach, yet still very close to the bars, restaurants and shops. In fact we would be only a short 4 min walk on the beach from the Blue Parrot tiki bar, which we would go to daily. Try their “Sandblaster” frozen drink! Trust me you’ll thank me later! We even saw Dolphins daily while sitting on the sand or in the water right in front of our rental. We also saw sea turtles and a large Manta. It was truly a magical experience! St. George Island was rated the #1 beach in the U.S. and I definitely agree. The sand is like sugar and the water is clear with no rocks or seaweed. And you can walk out 50 yards and still be in only 4 or 5 feet of water. We absolutely love this place! In fact we have decided to make it an annual tradition for our Anniversaries.

It was clear that the hosts put a lot of thought into ensuring the home was well-maintained and welcoming. Every detail was considered, from the comfortable furnishings to the well-stocked kitchen that had everything we could have needed or wanted. Whether we were cooking a family meal, relaxing in the spacious living room, or enjoying a book on the deck, we felt right at home.The amenities were top-notch as well. We appreciated the fast Wi-Fi, ample towels and linens, and the variety of beach gear available for our use. The house also had plenty of space for our entire group to spread out and enjoy ourselves.One of our favorite parts of the stay was the breathtaking sunrises we watched every morning from the patio. Wonderful Spring Break

Anniversary trip

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a four-family reunion in 2 homes that were about 4 houses apart. Access to the beach was great! Beach equipment was delivered, as promised. Very nice beach decor. We loved having our dogs vacation with us. Narrow, steep steps were challenging for our older guests, as was access to the bathtub in the master bedroom. Property is in need of updating, especially the kitchen, grill, and master bathtub.

Chose SGI and Abiding Place mostly due to pet friendliness. Had a great family trip. We’ll be back.
