El primer nivel de esta hermosa casa ofrece una gran suite principal frente al mar con cama King y baño privado con bañera de hidromasaje. El acceso a una cubierta cubierta lo invita a salir para saludar el amanecer de la mañana o para contemplar los millones de estrellas parpadeantes en el cielo nocturno. Un segundo dormitorio con cama Queen también tiene un baño privado con cabina de ducha y un armario de lavandería con lavadora / secadora apiladas disponible en el vestíbulo para su comodidad.

Arriba, caminarás hacia una sala de estar abierta con sofá cama Queen y techos altos. Aquí, puede relajarse en los cómodos muebles o caminar por la terraza cubierta frente a la playa con una terraza adicional para deleitarse con el calor del sol. La cubierta superior tiene una puerta que cierra el acceso a las cubiertas inferiores para que pueda vigilar de cerca a su mascota o a los niños más pequeños. Prepare la pesca del día en la cocina de azulejos con barra de desayuno o disfrute de asientos adicionales en la mesa del comedor para 6 personas. Justo después de la cocina hay una escalera que conduce a la habitación de arriba del loft con cama Queen con vista a la sala de estar y la vista del Golfo, así como una vista lateral de la calle para ver el ajetreo y el bullicio de otras familias que disfrutan de su tiempo en St. Isla de george Un baño con ducha está disponible justo al lado de la sala de estar.

Great family vacation

We enjoyed our stay. Took advantage of the credit for beach gear and it was waiting for us when we got there. House had everything you needed. Loved having the beach right outside our door and the ice cream shop right across the road was a bonus!

Wonderful beach rental!

Great location and a beautiful beach! The house had everything we needed. The Property Manager went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and enjoyed our stay. If you're looking for a quiet beach vacation away from the usual touristy places, this is it!

Wonderful stay

This house was all it promised. The fenced patio was brilliant for the dog. Location is great you can walk to everything…and we did! You can walk to the parrot by beach or road. The house was clean and spacious and perfect for our stay. It’s always a blast to be able to bundle everything up a pop down tot he beach for the day! Dog friendly easy checkin and access it was relaxing and stress free.

Beautiful View

We enjoyed our short week at this property . The house was clean and orderly . The view from the decks was amazing . We also enjoyed the dry outdoor shower and lounge area on the bottom deck .

Relaxing week!

Really enjoyed our stay. House was clean and convenient to center of island. Great decks to view the ocean. Short walk to private beach. It was nice to not have to rush out and drop your beach gear early in the morning like most places during spring break. Would definitely stay here again.

The house has a perfect view of the Gulf and direct access to the beach. Balconies on two levels, as well as a little nook on the ground level, provide a variety of spaces for relaxing. Tasteful and quiet.

Convenient location. Experienced some unusual weather…..thunderstorms and heavy winds that took out the water substation, staff was informed and kept in communication until the service was turned back on.

You need to be here

We rented for 4 weeks and loved it. The house is very comfy, the bed was comfy and the kitchen is well stocked for cooking. The views are amazing. Rain or shine. There are 3 decks you can choose from which was nice becoz the lower deck was a little warmer on a windy day. You can walk to restaurants, grocery and amazing donuts at Webers. Our two pups enjoyed the beach also. We felt this place was awesome. Would definitely rent again.

Annual Trip, Beach Year

The island is amazing. It's not commercialized, all in walking distance, and not "island prices". There was no short on happy staff and there were relatively no waits at restaurants. The beach is beautiful, clean and not overcrowded. Would 100% recommend a trip to St. George's Island. The house is dated and could use a facelift, but it did not take away from the trip at all. It is much closer to the beach than the pictures give justice. And you cannot beat the views from the back porches. We had three kids and four adults and the size was great for us. I would recommend bringing extra towels and laundry detergent as the ability to hang towels (beach or shower) and bathing suits is very limited. The queen beds are very, very small queens, if not even full size/double beds. The rental credit was great - we got bikes and extra chairs. The kids loved the ability to go anywhere on the island with the bikes.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The location is perfect for walking to restaurants and our teens went for ice cream and biked most days. Space is good and all the appliances worked, water pressure was good, deck space was excellent. Loved having the top deck gate so we could sit on the deck with our dog and not worry. We were completely aware for the money and dog friendly, there would be normal wear and tear on the property. Furniture was comfortable and beach walk was in good shape (no splinters with trex). We did bring our Amazon fire stick and we had no problems with the wifi. We liked that we were far enough from the public access so we had lots of space on the beach. Every house just picked a spot on the first day and we all stuck to it all week.

Week at the Beach

We had a great stay at the Lite House. It was central to the shops and restaurants on the Island. As well as right on the beach. The view was amazing! The home was decorated nicely and we enjoyed it overall but there were a couple of items that could have been done that would have made my stay a 5. Those items include: 1. The AC can only be turn down to 73 degrees. I am used to sleeping with my AC on 68 which made it hot at night. I understand that you do not want the AC's to freeze up but a little more leniency in the temperature would be nice. 2. The Master Bed was hard. Maybe put a pillow topper on it or change it out. So with the AC not being able to be turned down and the bed being hard, I did have a tough time sleeping. I didn't say anything to the property management company but in hind sight maybe I should have. Even with these challenges the items that out weighed the issues and that would make me consider coming back were: 1. Great views of the beach from the home. 2. The beaches were not crowded and made for relaxing days. 3. Close enough to other towns like Apalachicola and Port St Joe where we ate at some great restaurants. Check out Tamara's in Apalachicola and Sunset Coastal Grill in Port St Joe. They are restaurants that carry more than just fried food and remind me of the great restaurants in Charleston, SC. 4. Jamie at Forgotton Shores Properties was very helpful with making my reservation, providing suggestions for dining / attractions and helped me greatly in shipping back a couple of items that I left. So if you are looking for a clean home to stay in, a great beach, amazing views and located in a small town atmosphere; then I would recommend this home and area.

Easy check in, great beach access and the kitchen was well stocked. The beds were very comfortable and the showers were hot. The chairs on the top deck were cheap plastic, the dishwasher was disgusting and the washing machine needs to be thoroughly cleaned. Overall the property just needs some TLC and it could be much much nicer.

The only issue I have is that the master bedroom has a musky moldy smell . Also we had several water bugs come visit us in the master bedroom ... we live this place and will most likely rent it again next year for our fall break .

3rd year in this rental

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is our 3rd year in this property and we are very pleased with it. We have been coming to the area for 25 years and this is our 15th year on SGI. We have stayed at a few different properties and enjoy this property. The only downside - you have to get your stuff out to the beach early in order to get a spot due to the close proximity of neighbors. This year - the property was the cleanest we have ever seen when we arrived. Close walking distance to the shops and Blue Parrot. The very-few negatives: Could use a few extra forks (5 isn't enough), the weather stripping on the road-side door is missing - allows bugs to come in and the exhaust fan in the bathroom sounds like it is going to take off any day now.Had to talk with the property manager during the week to give permission for a service call and they were friendly and knew the area (unlike another property management company).Would recommend this place to anyone - except for the week we want it.
