Very cute little cabin, perfect for the 2 of us and our dog. King size bed is very comfortable. Easy to get to and a few minutes from the town of Blowing Rock and close to the Blue Ridge Parkway access off 221.

Access and parking, the best we’ve ever experienced in Blowing Rock. Made it easy to get to town and back. Cabin is very nicely decorated. Bedding is fabulous. Kitchen is nice. But, Freezer doesn’t work, no ice. View, deck, yard are spectacular. Thank-you for being pet friendly. Our little dogs enjoyed themselves. We really loved our week at Cloud Forest Lane. We plan to rent it again! However, owner could make improvements. House address is not visible. Covered by bushes and vines. Code to unlock door was incorrect. Had to call agency for a new code. Bathroom is small and needs updating. Also, vegetation was being cut down from the road below the cabin. Very loud, noisy, but they didn’t cut in the rain. Bad timing on our part.

Amazing views from the deck that changes moment to moment! Kitchen is very complete and the country decor is charming. Home is situated about 4 miles from downtown Blowing Rock and very accessible, yet quiet location.

December in the mountains

What a lovely, relaxing get-away. The mountain views were ever changing as low lying clouds filled the valley below and we were treated to a full moon to light the night sky. The home was just right for this couple's stay. The kitchen was well appointed for meal prep and the furnishings thru out the house were comfortable. The house was easily located (thanks to good directions provided) and accessible. The area was very quiet,. Perfect for escaping noise of everyday life. Yet, you were only a few miles from downtown Blowing Rock. Thanks for the ease of booking, timely communication and accurate representation of this property.

Cozy Cabin

Coming Back!

Although the back deck had not been cleaned off, the inside was very clean, well appointed, and very much felt like home. It was nicely decorated, and small additions were included to make life a little easier. Items like plastic wrap, charcoal, and even a hand mirror were included. This cabin was easy to access and only a short drive to town. We brought the dogs. The yard was huge and fenced. Couches and beds were very comfy. All-in-all, I would rate this an A+. Oh, and the view was to die for.

Cozy cabin in the perfect location!

We absolutely loved our stay! The cabin was perfect for our small family, pet friendly, amazing views and so close to Blowing Rock. We had a fantastic time and will be back!

Nice Cottage

The cottage was nice and very comfortable. It has a lovely view. The only issue I had was with check-in. I am oxygen dependent and equipment was being delivered. Hurricane Ian was due to come in and a request was made for an earlier check-in time so the equipment could be delivered. I received a quick response saying I could check-in at 1pm (3 hours early) for $85 + tax.

Clean, Cozy, and Quiet with Stunning View

Peaceful location about 10 mins outside of Blowing Rock town center. The cottage is very clean and well appointed with newer appliances and comfy furnishings. Fantastic unobstructed mountain views from the living area, one bedroom and the deck.

Magical mountain view

Well appointed kitchen, Comfortable bedrooms, cozy living room, about 10 min drive to great Blowing Rock restaurants and the Blue Ridge Parkway. Large fenced yard and stunning views of the mountains from the back porch. Would stay here again.

fantastic.

having owed vacation rental properties myself i understand what it takes to offer a overall great experience. we have been coming to blowing rock for 6 years and this house, property, and rental agency offered everything that we could possible want or need for a top notch vacation experience. it started with the cleanliness and then continued with comfort. the location and ease to all the great hikes is a bonus. everything you could need in the way of kitchen supplies and outdoor grills are at your finger tips. in not to mention the morning sunrises are spectacular!!! this will be our go to every time it is available to us. i’m so excited to come back again in the summer to experience another season.

Great view, quiet, great for dogs

View on the back deck is great. The fenced yard was great for our dogs. Nice quiet location a few miles from the shops in Blowing Rock, Blue Ridge Pkwy, and hiking trails.

Peace and tranquility

We enjoy the drive up parking and not having to take our stuff up stairs. The home is beautifully decorated and clean. We go just to watch the sunrise and rest. We don't feel the need to go find entertainment, although this is close to Boone, Blowing Rock, and more

Cabin in the clouds

We were very pleased with the mountain views, peace & quiet, cooler temperatures, once the tropical storm passed through. Location was convenient to resturants, shopping, attractions, grocery stores in Boone and Blowing Rock. The Blowing Rock attraction with museum and nice gift shop was worth the cost and hour or so of your time. Nice towels and very good water pressure which made for great hot showers. Kitchen is updated with heavy duty soft close cabinets, newer appliances, granite countertops, plenty of dishes, glasses, baking pans, skillets etc. I didn't prepare any large meals but I have no doubt you could in this kitchen. I did think the lighting was lacking in the kitchen. Stocked with cleaning supplies, spices, iron & iron board , blow dryer, starter paper products. Plenty of books and several puzzles and games. As other reviewers mentioned, the skylights did not leak. There were non-central A/C units which we did not need. in the (LR and Deck side bedroom) Plenty of pillows, two throws, three blankets. Con: The hard wood floors were not clean.

Great quiet location and great view

Fenced in yard was a big plus for our pup, and cabin was clean and comfortable. The view was relaxing and we would stay again.

Wonderful Stay

This cabin was perfect for our visit. 8” of snow greeted us so the beautiful fireplace burned the entire stay. The “long view” is beautiful in any season and we were even able to spend a sunny afternoon out on the deck.
