Lakefront Cottage con 100 'Playa de arena, muelle, vistas y sala de juegos.

Cabaña frente al lago construida con acabado clásico de madera 'camp'. Esta cabaña de 1990 está ubicada en una calle sin salida, entre dos casas de $ 1 millón de dólares, en una pequeña cala tranquila. El campamento tiene amplios pisos de pino y paredes de madera 'pickwick' con todas las comodidades del hogar. Se han realizado varias mejoras al campamento en los últimos años, que incluyen: revestimiento de cedro nuevo, techo nuevo, ventanas y puertas nuevas, y varios colchones y somieres nuevos. Hay una playa de arena privada de 100 'en Broad Bay of Ossipee Lake con excelentes vistas de las Montañas Blancas. Esta es una de las mejores playas ubicadas en el lago Ossipee. Playa de arena gradual perfecta para niños pequeños y 5 'de profundidad al final del muelle, que es perfecta para bucear y nadar en la balsa. Stunning Lake Views

Ossippee Lake is beautiful and the location of the camp was perfect, only an hr away. There was more than enough sleeping space and seating for us all, and the fact that pets were allowed was key! We also loved the ammenities (game room, extra kayaks and the float pad) Our only drawbacks were two fairly steep flights of stairs to get down to the camp (the first did not have a railing) and another flight either from the deck or through the basement game room to get to the lake. The other was, unfortunately, the fridge died on us 1 day in. The owner was very responsive and luckily had an "owner' fridge on the property we could use. The beach was nice for water entrance, although water shoes are recommended as it was quite rocky underfoot once you got a couple feet in. The only other thing we would want people to know is that the boat traffic was super busy as it was 4th of July weekend when we first arrived. It made for some pretty big waves on the narrow beach but it calmed down significantly after the weekend. Also, there is a children's camp right across the lake that blew reverie every morning at 8, and several other times during the day. We were entertained watching them all have fun! We also enjoyed watching the beautiful sunsets from just about anywhere on the property. Thank you to the White family!

Exceptional!

Best beach on the lake!! Family of four, plus one dog had the most amazing time ever! Clean and very comfortable home, well equipped with everything that you need from washer/dryer to paddleboards. My kids spent hours upon hours swimming out to the floating raft and jumping off the dock while the dog swam after them. Honestly the beach is so incredible, we hardly even used our boat. The dock was great, plenty of room for our 22 foot pontoon. We dropped it in the lake at Lakeside Landing at the suggestion of the lovely owner Brian. Thank you for a wonderful week! Hoping to come back again next year.

Excellent beach house

We had an amazing time, perfect place at the end of the road for our family to get together and enjoy the lake. The kids all had a blast swimming, paddling and my son particularly loved the swing under the deck. The house was very well furnished with everything you need for a great vaca. Brian was very easy to communicate with, couldn't have asked for a better stay, everything we were hoping for. Thanks so much.

Another wonderful stay

Brian is wonderful to work with! The views are beautiful from his house and lake is calm in the morning for early paddleboard rides. All the toys he allows you to use (kayaks, floats, or paddle boards) really make the stay even more fun!

Wonderful location

Brian was wonderful to work with and answered all questions. The views were spectacular and it was great to be able to check in Friday. The extra bonus was being able to bring our Cavapoo who had the best time!

Perfect Getaway

This house was in a perfect location! It had all the amenities you could need. Perfect dock to park the pontoon, great swimming area with raft, kayaks, paddle board.....We just had a wonderful time! The only thing that bummed me out was that we needed to make our own beds when we got there, do all the laundry, and clean the house before we left. I realize now that I did not see that/missed it in the listing before we booked. I would been much happier to pay a cleaning fee. Over all great vacation!

Amazing Week at Lake Ossipee

The pictures do not do this place justice!! My wife and I stayed here with our 3 & 1 year old. Great location as it sits right on the lake, beautiful view of the water and mountain. The beach was nice and gradual (great for young kids). I suggest renting a pontoon boat, there’s a great dock for it and the marina is right across the bay. We also really liked the deck, spent 80% of our time there. Great, clean, and easy check in. 5 stars.

Fabulous getaway

This was a fantastic vacation for my family. Check in/out was a breeze. The place was spotless when we got there. The host was very accommodating to any questions I had in the time leading up to our stay. It is such a great location. At the end of the road so no traffic, near the no wake area, so lake traffic was minimal. The swings under the deck and floating dock were the favorites for my kiddos. I HIGHLY recommend this place to anyone looking to get away, with our without kids - we had a blast! The only thing to note, the beach itself is sandy, but it is definitely a rocky entrance once in the water. Not a problem for us since we brought water shoes, but in case anyone could use that tidbit :)

Great rental for our family vacation

My family stayed here for a week at the end of June and had a great time. There was plenty of room for our family of four and inlaws in the house. The location on the lake was perfect. The kids loved playing in the water and the sandy beach area. The fire pit area was a nice feature, as we enjoyed having fires a couple evenings and cooking smores while taking in views of the lake. The deck was a great place to unwind at the end of the day with a table and seating for family dinners, and a propane grill for cooking. Overall we enjoyed our stay here and would definitely consider renting again sometime in the future.

Amazing week in September 2020

We enjoyed our time at the camp. The location on the water is amazing, the beach area with dock is perfect. You are almost in a little cove and the boats go by a slower speed than on the big lake. Our son is young so it was hard to keep out of trouble as the camp isn't very infant proof. But we weren't expecting it to be either. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Perfect camp, fantastic 2-week stay!

We had the best 2-week stay at The White Camp! The house is wonderful and the location can’t be beat! Plenty of room throughout the home, and the WiFi is very strong for days we needed to work. The beach and dock area are fantastic! We rented a pontoon boat for an afternoon and had no problems docking it at the house! The view of Chocorua and surrounding mountains is breathtaking! We didn’t want to leave! We appreciated the binder of info on where to find everything! Brian was very communicative and a pleasure to work with! We hope to return again next year!

summer 2020

The camp was exactly as pictured, however the pictures do no justice! Upon entering we were all nostalgically brought back to summer camp memories. The open floor plan on the first floor was great for family time. A BIG selection of games and movies were a hit! The game room downstairs was great fun for some time out of the water. The camp was fully stocked with linens and towels and a great kitchen! Big deck in the back with a grill and a table set for dinners with a view! The beach area and lake was awesome for floating and swimming with enough shade options for the grandparents. The boat dock was perfect for our 17’ boat and to fish from. Use of their kayaks were wonderful! The swimming dock is an added bonus! Our dog loved swimming and the beautiful sunsets everyday! All the beds were super comfortable with tons of blankets and throw blankets to use. The owners were great and easy to communicate with. This camp was perfect in every way for a lake vacation and left us with awesome memories.

Great location

The house was cute and in a really great location! Unfortunately it wasn’t the cleanest of rentals which would make us likely not go back. The couches and beds smell like dog, but we don’t have a dog so we were likely more sensitive to that. There was a good amount of clutter on counters. When we arrived and wanted to put our food away, the cabinets were completely full and a bit disorganized. I had to move the owners items around to put our food away. It could use a professional clean. Stairway to get down to the house is steep and slippery because of many leaves and pine needles all over. A leaf blower could solve that problem. All outdoor plastic furniture could use a scrub down. The Couches are really old and uncomfortable. The beach and lake area, where we spent all our time, was amazing! The water floats and kayaks really made us all enjoy the lake. The beds are comfortable and there was plenty of blankets and pillows. And the owner was very nice and responsive!

Great value!

Just got back from staying here. Waterfront with private beach was fantastic. The owner allows for use of 2 kayaks which was wonderful for exploring the bays. A lot of steps to make it down to the house but that helps make it more private. Not for the wheelchair bound or those on crutches/walkers. Has a Boat dock and a swimming dock. The boat dock easily fit a 17' boat. Has homey feel rather than upscale. Has wood floors, which was great for kids, as it made for easier cleanup with sandy feet. Highly recommend for the price. Great value!

Wonderful rustic home on a lake

This is just a sweet home right on a lake. We rented this to get our entire family together for a week on a lake. We slept 6 adults and 4 kids in this home with no issues. There is a small beach (one of the only ones on the lake) the kids loved it. There is a dock for a boat. You can only kayak in early mornings and late afternoon as there are many motor boats on this lake (more so on weekends). This place is about 20 miles from North Conway, NH. There is plenty to do within that 20 miles. Please keep in mind this is a somewhat rustic home as such it is not the Hilton but very serviceable. One more item, people renting this home must be able to climb stairs not a problem for us but if you have trouble in anyway with stairs this is not the place for you. This was one of the best vacations we as a family have ever had. I recommend this home to families with kids 5 and above, you will have a blast.... bring your boat its great. I would recommend this home to my friends also.

We built this family camp in 1994. The camp was designed to have the look of a classic mid-1900's camp with the Pickwick pine walls and wide pine floors but also to have the modern amenities. We have a 42' HDTV in the living area along with internet and wifi. There is a full bath and a 1/2 bath along with a washer and a dryer. The second floor bedrooms are air-conditioned so sleeping on a hot summer night in the upstairs is very comfortable. The main level is not air-conditioned but with an open concept and great ventilation, none is ever needed. We mainly use this camp as a family summer camp and we make it available for rent for just a couple of prime summer weeks and a few June, September and October weeks to off-set the property taxes.

Por qué escogió este alojamiento

This property is unique as it sits in a small semi-private cove with a sandy beach and nice mountain views. The camp is located between two $1 Million dollar homes. When on our deck or dock you are in a fairly private cove location with great views of Broad Bay and the mountains. This property is largely wooded. You can boat right from the dock to the open water of Broad Bay and Ossipee Lake or you can take a right and head through the channel and access Leavitt Bay and Berry Bay to the east. This has been our family camp since 1994 and we have had many great memories here. I am sure that your family will love this special place as everyone who stays here does.

We have completed interior and exterior renovations from 2016-2018. The two oldest reviews are from 2009 and 2010 before the renovations were completed and while they were good they don't reflect the current condition of the camp.
