"Bearskin Romance" es la cabaña perfecta si está buscando un lugar especial para relajarse, descansar y disfrutar de todo lo que Great Smoky Mountains tiene para ofrecer. Tú tan solo eres
lo suficientemente apartado como para sentir la privacidad, pero cerca de todas las atracciones del área. Ya sea que esté en su luna de miel o simplemente se vaya, este es el lugar para usted.

"Bearskin Romance" es una cabaña de 1 dormitorio y 2 baños que duerme 6 y tiene 3 niveles. Se encuentra en el área de Sky Harbor, entre Pigeon Forge y Gatlinburg, donde está aproximadamente de 10 a 12 minutos a ambas ciudades y a unos 15 minutos de Dollywood y Dollywood Splash Country. El camino a la cabina está pavimentado y tendrá estacionamiento para 2 vehículos cómodamente.

Con solo un paso más para ingresar a la cabina, te sorprenderá todo el interior de madera y lo espaciosa que es la cabina. El nivel principal tiene una cocina totalmente equipada y una mesa de comedor y sillas de nogal hechas a mano con capacidad para 4. Además, encontrará para su comodidad un baño completo con ducha a ras de suelo únicamente. Adyacente a la cocina está la sala de estar donde pueden disfrutar el tiempo juntos. Ya sea acurrucarse en el sofá y ver su programa favorito en el televisor de pantalla plana, estirarse en el sofá cama después de un largo día de caminata o disfrutar de un libro mientras se relaja en la mecedora, disfrutará de todas las comodidades de hogar. En esas frías noches de invierno, toma una taza de chocolate caliente, una manta suave y cálida junto a la chimenea de gas de piedra. Después de un largo día de turismo, relájese por completo y disfrute de todas sus preocupaciones en la burbujeante bañera de hidromasaje ubicada en el porche cerca de la cocina mientras disfruta de todas las montañas que tiene para ofrecer. The virtual tour on the website is a different cabin.

Almost fell stepping out on the deck off the game room due to algae on the deck coming from the hot tub above. Christmas decorations are still up , gas grill didn’t work, kitchen floor squeaks when you walk on it . The wife and I still enjoyed our stay despite these issues. Still a nice cabin just needs to be cleaned a little better and the grill replaced.

Overall good stay!

We enjoyed our stay at this cabin. It had everything we needed. However, the ceiling fan in the upstairs bedroom had dust on it (guessing it’s not often used) so when we turned it on, dust flew all over the room. We were a bit let down by the actual view the cabin had. It looked a little more open with a better view in the photos, but it was more of a wooded view with the road below the balcony. The AC wouldn’t quite stay cool enough for our liking (I’m very pregnant and stay hot, especially throughout the night). But overall, it was a good stay. Easy booking process and communication.

Christmas gone wrong….

First off the staff is great. Cabin was nice and decorated for Christmas. I took my 2 kids there after loosing there mother this year so we didn’t have to do it at home. The hot tub never got above 50 degrees so I told them to put their swim suits on and we used the jacuzzi on the top floor. The water drained slowly but I didn’t think much about it. At 3 in the morning I went downstairs and walked into the bathroom to an inch of sewer water. I then went to the bottom floor to see it flooded with back up from the septic tank. I called in the morning and someone responded within a couple of hours. We had Christmas morning and left a day early. The management called on the way home and offered us a place in their hotel which I appreciated. It however was very disappointing to my children. No refund was offered though.

So sorry for your loss, We experianced the worst temps in 33 years. As you know there were -35 degree wind chill which froze the pipes. I'm sorry how your trip turned out but we had no control.

Extremely disappointed

When we showed up we were given the wrong door code and due to high call amounts I sat on hold with the customer service line for over 20 minutes while my kids were ready to get inside and relax after a long drive. Later that evening we realized we had no running water and called the customer service dozens of times to finally get a response late morning the following day. They had a maintenance guy fix that issue. During the whole time we were there until the final we had no Wi-Fi as we were promised as part of the deal. I reached out to customer service and was told that there was nothing they would do to compensate for the frustration on our end. Also I'm pretty sure it's illegal to rent places out when there is no running water. The lack of care and feedback from the owners/management was enough for us to pack our bags and leave a day early because we were so frustrated. All in price was over $700 per day which is an absolute sham. Most likely will never rent from this company again.

Joshua, I am sorry for the issue but the only thing we had control of which we fixed was water. A construction crew building a bridge cut 500 fiber optic lines and took out most internet and phones in the county for close to 2 days. Your code runs through the internet and it cant update when down. I'm am really sorry but we had no control of your issue.

Nice getaway

Came for spring break. Cabin was clean. Kids loved the game room. No complaints about fold out couch. Only had 3 forks in the cutlery drawer but that is the only minor complaint. Would visit again. Easy checkout with Alexa. :)

Bearskin Romance Cabin

This was the perfect cabin for our little getaway! It was everything and more than we expected from reading the reviews. The time went by so fast that we actually inquired about extending our stay and to our luck it was available and the additional time was added seamlessly. So if you’re looking for a quaint cabin that’s well maintained and just outside of all the hustle and bustle , I highly recommend bearskin romance !!

Nice cabin but description is deceiving.

Nice, clean cabin, but the little things added up to inconveniences. A few of the remotes didn't have batteries, up stairs fire place didn't work after buying our own AAA batteries. Faucet in kitchen " wonkie" leakes and needs to be replaced. Lastly the description is a little deceiving. There is no " bedroom" just a loft room.

Thank you for staying with us at Bearskin Romance. We are sorry to hear that you stay wasn't as enjoyable as we like for our guests. The faucet did need to be replaced which was found during the inspection after you checked out as it was not reported during your stay. We do apologize that you found remotes without batteries and wish you would have alerted us as we could have provided them for you instead of you purchasing them. The loft area is described as "the bedroom loft" and is pictured showing that it is an open loft.

NEEDS A LOT OF WORK

It needs a lot of improvements done. The hot tub only one corner jets worked. The bed needs a new mattress it made my husbands back go out. We had to cut the trip short so he could go to the Chiropractor to fix his back. The kitchen cookware needs replaced I had to go out and buy some just to cook. The radio downstairs is stuck on one station you can’t change it. There were live ladybugs everywhere. Needs curtains over the windows on the that the TV is on at the top because, the neighbors can see into the top bathroom and bedroom. The tub and shower had blue stains in them that would not come out. The faucet in the upstairs bathroom leaked and the kitchen faucet was hard to turn on. The toilets had stains in them also. Would not stay there again.

In researching your reservation we can see that there was a courtesy call made to the number that you put on file the morning after you checked in. While unfortunately nobody answered, there was a message left asking you to contact us if there were any issues so that we can rectify them. There is no notes of you calling to report any of the issues that you have outlined here. Unfortunately, if we have not been alerted to an issue we have no way of fixing anything. We would love the opportunity to better impress you in the future with a cabin that would better fit your needs.
