This home was great

This home had everything we needed! A well equipped kitchen, each room had an attached bathroom. There were boogie boards , plenty of beach towels and coolers. We used the barbecue on the patio. Master suite has an ocean view. The host greeted us right of way and said let us know if you need anything. Great location, I highly recommend this property!

Excellent property. Well equipped kitchen, bbq, all the necessary things you need to prepare meals. Close to grocery store, not too far from downtown Kona. A lot of extra items for use like beach towels, flippers, bikes, beach chairs and umbrella. Comfortable beds! So nice to be able to say that! I’ve stayed at places where it hurts my hips and back, but not here, the bed was so comfortable! Definitely would stay here again.

Great place

The VRBO was cool. Very roomy. It was a little irritating that we. Ran out of toilet paper and that we were expected to steip all bedding and start laundry before we left. We had to pay a 250 cleaning fee, but were expected to start the laundry. The place was cool and the pool was great. The location was very convenient to get where we needed to get.

Great Location

Great location and great place to stay! Townhouse had a lot of extra amenities and kitchen was fully stocked. Supermarket and restaurants a block away. Would definitely stay here again!

Very nice property, quiet enjoyable. Nice pool, hot tub. 5 minutes from beach, 10 minutes from down town. Close by food shopping.

Very comfortable stay in well appointed townhome in great location

We truly enjoyed our stay just south of Kailua in this spacious unit that had everything: boogie boards, beach chairs, snorkels, beach towels, beach mats, cooking staples, blender, BBQ, etc. It was relaxing to come back to after our Kona and Big Island adventures. Very nice bathrooms and beds. A+. Thanks for this wonderful stay in paradise.

Amazing Condo

Love D6!

Wonderful stay at D6. Plenty of room. The air conditioner kept us nice and cool at night. Lots of great beach gear in the garage. No issues and no complaints. Will recommend to anyone we know headed to Kona!

Perfect getaway

We thoroughly enjoyed staying here. The property was beautiful and fit our family perfectly. It was clean, welcoming, and comfortable. We so appreciated the beach towels, chairs, and beach items available including coolers! That’s something we usually have to purchase on every trip we take! We loved sitting on the balcony in the evening watching the sun go down. It’s quiet and peaceful. Loved all the beautiful trees and flowers. We cannot wait to come back!

Nice Unit in Na Hale O Keauhou

This unit has it all including comfort, views and amenities. Quiet unit with plenty of room for a family to spread out. Nice grill on the lanai and plenty of cooking and serving utensils supplied. Close to groceries and the lagoon. You can hear the ocean waves and even hear an occasional whale flipper slap in the distance. We have stayed in this complex many times in different units and this the best so far. Highly recommend.

Nice Condo in Great Location

We loved our recent stay at this unit. It was really big and roomy to accommodate our group. It wasn't as clean we as would've liked when we arrived, but I think there was some issues with the cleaning crew that morning. No bugs in the unit even with two toddlers constantly dropping food on the floor, which is huge if you know anything about Hawaii condos. The unit was well stocked with lots of kitchen stuff, cleaning supplies, laundry & dishwasher detergent, beach towels, pack and play, highchair, even some diapers leftover from prior guests.The complex itself is really nice and new, the pool set up would be better if there were more loungers but regardless we always found a place to sit. The whole area seemed really quiet while we were there (Feb 2025). I'd definitely stay in this unit again!

Condo was well appointed and comfortable to stay in. Some things that were not very good were the internet connection did not work. It would have been nice to know how the stove and oven worked. we were never able to get it to work. Overall just OK

Great stay. Great location

The condo is great. Everything you could require is there, from cooking items, pool and beach paraphernalia (chairs, plenty of towels, coolers, goggles) to a kettle (we’re British and need our tea!) The location is great. Walkable to the local store and lots of restaurants. Sunset bar was great and also walkable. The beach is 5-10 mins away and downtown Kona is a lovely little drive up the road, along the coast. We loved the patio and having access to the bbq/grill. When the gas ran out, the property manager quickly responded and replaced it within 15 mins for us. The house was clean, perfect for a family or friends. The pool was lovely and easy for us to get a lounger. The complex is quiet/peaceful and very well maintained. The property is a credit to the hosts. You won’t be disappointed.

We will be back!

This was our family’s 7th summer visiting the Big Island and we had an outstanding experience at the Na Hale O Keahou condo. Great location, near stores, beaches, coffee plantations and main roads. We appreciated that there was plenty of parking and it was near the unit. The furnishings including chairs, beds, couch and ceiling fans were comfortable. Bathrooms were clean and spacious, good water pressure. There were large closets in the bedrooms. Kitchen stocked with utensils, dishes, cups, wine glasses, bowls, containers, blender, rice cooker. We enjoyed grilling on the outdoor patio. There were beach/sands toys and equipment in the garage. We liked having the garage to hang our damp rash guards, suits and booties. We have many wonderful memories of our stay.

Another great stay at D-6!

This was our fourth stay at D-6. We have always enjoyed staying in this condo. Very well maintained and furnished to a high standard. The kitchen is well stocked with good quality crockery, glasses, coffee mugs, mixing bowls etc. The pantry has even lots of items that previous guests have left behind like salt, pepper, spices and seasonings, pasta and cooking oil. There is always plenty of dishwashing liquid, dishwasher cleaning agents and laundry detergent - small things that mean a lot. There are bikes in the garage for guests to use. A couple of cool boxes are provided as well as beach toys for kids, beach chairs and mats and body surfing boards. The jacuzzi in the pool area is great. We also like Na Hale O's location, walking distance to the Keauhou Shopping Center and KTA supermarket, Kahalu'u beach (probably the best snorkelling beach on the island) and Keauhou Bay (for amazing sunsets!). We look forward to staying here again on our next visit!

Great location and property

This was our first trip to Hawaii and was not sure on the best area to stay. I am so glad we rented this property as it was in a great location. We did rent a car for the week and there was plenty of parking. The place was very clean, provided shampoo, conditioner, and body wash and both my teenage kids were able to get their own room with attached bathrooms, that was a bonus. We ate breakfast at the rental each day and it had everything we needed for cooking. There is a nice size grocery store near by in a shopping center that will have everything you need including adult beverages. The entire property was nice and quiet and this rental is close to the pool. I highly recommend and would stay there again. As far as driving to near by locations, it's a 3 min drive to the closest beach with great snorkeling. We saw sea turtles and colorful fish. Further down the road is a small sand beach that is great for boogie boarding and surf lessons. Then about a 1/2 hour drive there is a larger sand beach for swimming and boogie boarding. My recommendation is to purchase a boogie board that has a band attached to it because if the waves are big then the boogie boards on the property may not be the best choice as they don't have attached bands, but they are great for small waves! The property had all the beach necessities including chairs, beach pads, and umbrella. There are some beach toys for small kids.

A Wonderful Time

This was our second year of staying a month in unit D-6. Overall we give it the highest marks. The location of the complex with nearby grocery store, theaters, and shopping made it easy to settle in for the month. The water aerobics three times a week was an added social and physical event. It was a most comfortable unit and with the extensive windows facing north it allowed the beautiful Hawaii light to brighten the day. 5 Stars all the way.
