Un viaje de vacaciones a Alaska no está completo hasta que te hayas alojado en una verdadera Alaska Log Home.

Nuestros troncos de gran diámetro fueron cosechados en Haines Alaska y transportados en camiones hasta Valdez Alaska, donde un hombre asombroso llamado Derrick (Serendipity Log Works) peló y grabó estos troncos en lo que quería.
Dé un paseo arriba y abajo por nuestra mano hecha a mano de todas las escaleras tradicionales de mortaja y carpintería de espiga hechas por otro hombre increíble local llamado Josh (Precision Timberworks).

Lleno de plantas vivas y obras de arte impresionantes de todo el mundo.
Siéntese alrededor de la fogata con su familia y amigos. Cocina tus días en la barbacoa y disfruta de una gran cocina para hacer tus recuerdos y comidas.
Sumérjase en una bañera con patas, (alrededor de 1900), el soporte fue hecho por un famoso artista local James Minden que utilizó metales recuperados del Gran Terremoto de Alaska de 1964. O camine en una impresionante caminata de azulejos en la ducha con piso de guijarros.
Métete en la cama y debajo de un edredón de plumas después de un largo día jugando.

La construcción se completó en el otoño de 2016. Después de esto, tomó casi dos años hacer el trabajo de acabado y el trabajo de detalles finos de lijar y teñir troncos, agregando arte local y muebles seleccionados para que esta casa sea lo más cómoda, acogedora, cálida y acogedora posible.

We very much enjoyed our stay. The cabin was easy to find with the instructions given to us by the host. Our first impression, when we first walked in, was how spacious and beautifully decorated the cabin was! The paintings and the plants made it feel very cozy. We loved the open floor plan with a sitting area that was very comfortable. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed to make meals. Our beds wet very comfortable. We were so happy there was a chest freezer. We stored the salmon that we caught in it! The host supplied binoculars, bear spray and laundry detergent which is above and beyond what we expected. It was a wonderful place our family to stay and I would highly recommend it. If ever we are back in Alaska, we would want to stay in this cabin.

A true log cabin with beautiful artistic flair and a lovely display of house plants to make this feel like home. The picture windows let in the light and showcase the views of the mountain, while the bedrooms have great black out curtains so you can sleep during those long Alaskan days. Beds were super comfortable too!

Incredible place!

Unbelievable to find a place this beautiful in such a remote part of the world. Beautifully appointed, stocked with every amenity we could possibly want, and just a few minutes from downtown Seward in a gorgeous setting. We had a lovely time!

So beautiful and clean, the art work is amazing!

We had a great visit to Seward. The home was fantastic! Super clean and art treasures everywhere you look. I truly enjoyed the outdoor spaces also, the fire pit was great! My wife was impressed with the kitchen and prepared wonderful meals, the Safeway is just down the road. Super cool home!

We really enjoyed our stay. The cabin was immaculate and beautiful. We especially enjoyed sitting around the fire pit and looking at all the beautiful wild flowers and tall majestic pines surrounding the property. Beds were super comfy, living area/loft was great for unwinding after a long day. Fully stocked kitchen was appreciated as we made several meals, as were the laundry facilities. Owner was fabulous. Would definitely recommend this gem.

Beautiful cabin and perfect location for our stay. It is the most uniquely decorated home I’ve ever seen, personalized with artwork by the owner and live plants everywhere…huge windows with lots of light. We loved it! The house is very clean and cozy with all the amenities…definitely not stingy with towels or toilet paper. I am so grateful we found this cabin for our second trip to Alaska. Thank you!

This might be the best place we have ever stayed. It was beautiful, clean and comfortable! None of us wanted to leave! My sister kept finding more things to love about the house all the time!! My favorite parts were the claw foot tub and heated floors!!! Absolutely anything you needed was there!! Excellent is an understatement!!! If we ever go back to Alaska we WILL stay here again

Seward - Escape to explore and fish

We spent 3 nights at the Alaskan Log Cabin. Beautiful location. 2 eagles graced our presence in the sky upon our arrival at the home. Lovely view, art work, comfortable beds... just a short drive down to Seward marina for our adventures. We enjoyed to s'mores at the firepit... and feeding the bird with the chopped peanuts left for us. Only suggestion would be more seasonings besides salt and pepper for cooking and a peeler for potatoes- as we did catch some fish that we prepared at the home. Safeway was just a 5 minute drive on the way to Seward.

This property was above what we expected. It had EVERYTHING you could possibly need. All of the small touches made us feel like well looked after guests in someone's home. I would highly recommend this property to anyone wanting to visit the Seward area. We will stay hear again next time we visit Alaska.

This place exceeded our expectations in so many ways. You can tell how much thought has been put into the property. We are usually always ready to be back home at the end of a trip but this place was so comfortable in so many ways, we could have stayed longer!

Beautiful custom cabin thay is gorgeously furnished & decorated. Has all the modern conveniences. Short distance to downtown Seward restaurants & bars. Could not have imagined a better accommodation. Highly recommend!

Amazing Place! Didn’t Want to Leave!

There’s so much to love about this house! Clean, comfortable and cozy, perfect for our group of 6. The owner’s artistic touches were a bonus! Comfy beds/bedrooms, beautiful property, easy to find, quick 10 minute drive into town. Awesome. Everything as expected and more

I looked a long time for a nice place on the Kenai Peninsula. So many properties described as "authentic " or "rustic" really just meant "not that nice." This place was awesome. It was just me and my wife though this was a 3 bedroom. It was worth every extra penny. Close to Seward. Convenient enough for Soldotna. The owner had thought of everything. Beautiful decor. All the needed amenities. Roomy. True to the Alaska spirit. Clean. New. Spacious. Comfortable. Really....i can't say enough.

Family vacation in Seward Alaska

Our family had a wonderful stay at the cabin, with its generous windows and views. Meals were easy to prepare with the well-stocked kitchen. Washroom supplies were generous and the shower and tub design are great. The artwork is beautiful throughout. My daughter loved feeding the Stellar’s jay who visits the back porch. Very comfortable holiday cabin. Highly recommend!

Born and raised in Alaska. I started working on commercial fishing and tug boats when I was 16 and received my USCG Captains license when I was 21. After many years at sea I began to start missing land and purchased the property when I was 30 and called Seward home.

Por qué escogió este alojamiento

The Lost Lake Subdivision is a quiet small subdivision. Out of the flood zone and high enough to be tsunami safe. Most of the subdivision including my lot is on bedrock so we don’t feel the earthquakes.

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

What makes my property unique is this is my personal home, I only rent it out during the summer months and I live in it the rest of the months. During the off season I am always upgrading the inside or improving the outside garden.
This property is an extension of me and who I am. The cabin has been decorated from my experiences in life and I try very hard to create and not purchase what everyone else has in their homes.
Staying here you'll enjoy a unique, clean, cozy, private, and beautiful cabin.
