Truly better than expected. Great kitchen, comfortable seating, plenty of room all around for my husband, my adult nephew and myself! View great, only a very short walk to the wonderful pool and not that much longer to the beach.

Beautiful views and great location

We found the property to be in good condition. The lanai was perfect for barbecuing and relaxing. The bedrooms were nice and spacious. Driving distance to restaurants and beaches.

Wailea vacation with my daughter

My youngest daughter and I spent 5 days in Maui at this amazing The Palms rental. Everything was perfect and beyond expectations! The ocean view, amenities, and everything was perfect. Highly recommend this beautiful condo!

Great location and great home!

We stayed here for 5 days with our 4 and 1.5 yo children. The home was perfect for our family. Very clean, lots of towels and kitchen supplies, and a great balcony that the kids could play in. We used the community pool and hot tub daily, and the location was great to go to Lahaina as well as explore beaches locally. We asked staff for a step-stool and they promptly provided one. Super comfortable stay!

Spectacular Sunsets!!

Great location - we walked the beach walking path everyday. Beautiful sunsets from the patio. Comfortable unit. Cleanliness of tile and windows need some attention. We were very pleased with the response of the property manager and the owner to a couple of general maintenence issues that occured while we were there.

Block 11 is elevated high enough that it provides a great view of the ocean and incredible sunsets. The wrap around lanai is very private and is a great space to entertain or just relax.Property could use some updating soon. When you have steady rental traffic, certain things need to be replaced. Booked already for 2024.

Best view on the property

We have stayed at the Palms on many occasions. This condo had the best view of all. The sunsets were amazing. The condo itself can use some updating. The flooring was in need of replacing. We also bought a Teflon frying pan so we could cook breakfast, of which we brought home with us. There were a couple issues and the property management company was quick to respond. The lights over the dining table didn't work and we were told, because the table weighs too much to move, they couldn't replace the bulbs,

It was very well equipped with everything we needed and more. The lanai was fantastic and only added to the spaciousness of the condo and our enjoyment of it.If there was anything that would improve our stay, it would be new pillows. That's a difficult request, I know, because it so objective. And it was certainly not a deal-breaker. There were 4 adults and one pre-teen staying here, and we all agreed we would gladly stay here again (and again!).

We have always stayed in a place in South Kihei, but it has become unaffordable for us. We absolutely loved this unit (1101) at The Palms and the price was right! Our trip this time was for a very special reason where 50 friends and family came to give my recently deceased nephew a perfect send off. The unit was very clean, and we were close enough to the rest of the group in South Kihei. The 5 of us were more comfortable here than ever. It is very roomy with a huge lanai with our own BBQ and a window between the kitchen and lanai to hand things in and out! Although it is not right on Keawakapu beach, the walk or drive was an easy short one. We hope to come again soon, and I would definitely recommend this place to anyone! Mahalo!

Reviewer Comments: We had a good stay in 1101 at The Palms at Wailea and another great experience with Rentals Maui, representing the property, handling our reservation, payment, etc. The condo is not as updated as some of the other units we have rented at the property, but it is well-priced, everything was comfortable, in good repair, and conveniently equipped. Even though only my husband and I stayed, we enjoyed having the space of a 2 bedroom and 2 bath. The unit has fantastic sunset ocean views! It should be noted that although it is on the ground floor, there is not flat ground off the lanai. There is a steep hill right off the lanai that is outside of the living room, with only 3-4 foot high flowering bushes along the lanai edge. Just my observation, but the bushes might not provide enough protection to stop a young child from falling through and tumbling down the hill. We always have a great experience working with Rentals Maui and really enjoyed our stay at The Palms at Wailea in unit 1101, and would not hesitate to rent this comfortable address again

Unit was very clean upon arrival and as we were already on the island in other accommodations Rental Maui was extremely accommodating in letting us bring our perishable items to 1101 before check in time .Thank you!!The unit does need an upgrade to the kitchen and bathrooms but it was well stocked for cooking and laundry and AC throughout the unit which was nice although the Maui breeze usually made AC unnecessary.Beach chairs and umbrella need replacing and a Smart TV in the living room would have been nice.We love the Palms and the views from this unit are 11 out of 10!
