Love 5a at Wailea Ekahi

2nd time staying in this condo and love the layout, 2 bathrooms, deck with garden view and so close to the beach. All very comfortable and have already booked our next stay.

Nice complex, nice up to date amenities, fantastic pool/club house. We had a big south swell (6-8 foot) during our stay in Wailea so water activities took a back seat to exploring the surrounding area. Beautiful island and very convenient location. Thanks.

Stayed in for a two seek stretch in February. Great unit, amazing location... super close to the beach. Well equipped, lots of beach gear. Highly recommended!

John and Michael were fabulous hosts! We had an amazing time and comfortable stay. It was very spacious considering our teenagers slept in the family room. We grilled at the pavilion most nights and watched the sunset. Looking forward to a future stay. Mahalo!

Dream Vacation

We recently returned from our stay at this wonderful condo and we couldn’t have been happier with our experience. The level of care and attention put into maintaining this property is evident from the moment you set through the door. All the furniture was comfortable, we had plenty of towels, beach chairs, and a well-stocked kitchen made for a remarkable level of comfort. Having stayed in various condo complexes across Maui over the years, we can confidently say that Wailea Ekahi surpasses them all for us because of the beach access, heated oceanfront pool, and the pavilion which is so convenient for grilling dinner and watching the sunset. We loved our stay at 5A, the communication with the hosts was seamless and the top-notch property made for an unforgettable vacation.

Wonderful home with great amenities in a perfect location!

My daughter and I had the most wonderful stay at this property! The location is superb, within a couple minutes' walk from the pool and the beach. The condo is spacious and comfortable, with an icy cold AC and all the needed supplies for an enjoyable stay. We loved the lanai and enjoyed most of our meals there. The view from the kitchen is lovely with tropical vegetation and large grassy area! Ample parking is definitely a nice bonus. We enjoyed our stay so much more than at a resort. The complex is very seren!e with beautiful landscaping and always available spots by the pool. John and Mike are amazing hosts who communicated with us way before our arrival and once we got there, there was a welcome note with Wi-Fi instructions, parking permit information, housekeeper’s phone number etc. We will absolutely plan on coming back!!

Great location and layout

Ekahi is our favourite place to stay in Wailea/Kihei; beautiful property, nice amenities and direct beach access. This unit is located close to the beach so minimal climbing (many units are a steep uphill climb). It is large and well laid out, lots of windows for light and air flow (some ground floor units are a little dark). It has everything you want for the beach: boogie boards, chairs, a wagon, big big beach towels. The kitchen is well appointed too. It’s a ground floor unit so sunrise and sunset require a walk to the beachfront pool area. Owner is super quick to respond. It’s not the most updated unit but everything else is excellent

Convenient & Comfortable - amazing location

Super clean and comfortable home. Snorkeling is amazing from beach out front of the condo community. Great communal kitchen at pool. Would definitely go back.

we kept finding new things to love

This place is a little slice of heaven that exceeded all the hopes we built up in advance of our annual family vacation. John is an attentive owner that really took care of us before, during, and after our trip. It's a spacious condo with a WELL-equipped kitchen and an enclosed patio that overlooks and accesses a big, quiet tropical garden. Be aware that the bbq grill is gone due to a site-wide ban, but I enjoyed using the community grills at the main pool -- it's a great place to bring drinks, grill, and enjoy the sunset. The location overall is incredible. It's right at Keawakapu Beach, which we learned is a locals favorite because it's chill and apart from the tourist resorts. We loved it because the backdrop is a bit wilder, mostly picturesque rocks and palm trees with no big hotel looming over it. Keawakapu is also just one beach up from the start of the gorgeous coastal boardwalk. Over and over, we kept finding new things to love about staying in this particular unit at this particular complex.

Perfect!

Perfect! Would 100% stay here again. Maybe 2 minute walk to pool and beach. Morning coffee walks on the beach and Wailea beach path chatting with my wife while our teenage boys played in the tide pools and surf. Same in the evening except with Mai Tais. No one wanted to leave.

Location and Amenities can't be beat!

We just came home from the best week ever. We were so impressed with this unit! The proximity to the pool and beach cannot be beat. Not to mention its an easy walk to the Shops at Wailea if you need ice cream in the afternoon! The unit comes well stocked with everything you could need, including items left by previous guests which were really a blessing (not having to go out to buy a bottle of Aloe for our sunburns!) Any beach item imaginable was there for our use as well. My kids loved the boogie boards and snorkel gear and the adults loved the beach chairs and umbrella. The beach towels were also very big and high quality. It made it so easy for us to just pack clothes in carry-ons and not worry about bringing the other items. The owners were great and responsive - we have already booked a week for next year and can't wait to come back!

Great Property - 2 Minutes from Keawakapu Beach

We had a great 8 night stay in this wonderful unit. It’s so close to the beach and had an amazing amount of beach chairs, toys, boogie boards etc for our use. It also has a fully equipped kitchen and is a close (15 min) walk to shopping, bars and restaurants. The owners were easy to work with and we hope to rent this unit again in the future. We have been coming to Maui every year for 15+ years and this is our 4th stay at Ekahi. We love it every time and even more so now that the new pool pavilion is complete!

Truly a short walk to main pool/beach

This 1st floor condo in Ekahi Village was located truly just a short walk to the pain pool/beach easily accessible from the steps of the lanai off the kitchen. The grounds within the secluded village had landscaping that was well manicured with bright foliage and clean public facilities. The main pavilion was the perfect place to have a meal and drink our favorite beverage while watching the sunset. It had plenty of tables and seating, a full kitchen, ice maker and 3 grills for visitor use. The main pool was very clean and a good size for adults and children alike. Access to the beach was also in close proximity from the pavilion and pool. Walking the shores on the beach in the morning gave you nice views of the beautiful oceanfront homes as well as adjacent resorts. But the sunset walks are breathtaking! (NOTE: The waters are not very calm on this side of Maui due to high winds. They are calm before 10:30am though. We were there at the end of July to early Aug. so not sure if the season had anything to do with that. Lahaina and Kanaapali had calmer waters.) Ekahi Village is located within what I would consider an upscale "suburb" of Maui and had some really delicious places to eat in Kihea and Wailea. The unit itself was a little tight for our family of 5 (2 adults, 2 teenagers and a tweener) but we knew that ahead of time and we made it work. Definitely ideal for 2-4 people. The kitchen had EVERYTHING you need to prepare meals from the appliances, server ware, drink ware, spices, condiments, and even containers for leftovers. There was an ample supply of shampoo, conditioner, soap, toilet paper and kitchen cleaning supplies. They provided 4 laundry pods but plan on using 1-2 for the towels they require you to wash prior to your departure. One of the biggest things we really appreciated was that they had ALL the necessary items you would need to play at the beach or pool (chairs, umbrella, wagon, cooler, snorkels (although we actually brought our own), towels, sand toys, boogie boards, etc). Lastly, John and Mike were very easy to reach and promptly responded whenever I had questions. I would definitely recommend this place and have friends already wanting to go there.

Perfection in Paradise!

Everything about this condo and Ehaki Village is perfect! We were with a group of 40 who each had their own condo. This unit was closest to the wonderful Pavillion, pool & beach :)

Ekahi 5A is one of two units owned by two families from the Seattle and Scottsdale area. The Russell and Imler families both have been visiting Wailea Ekahi Village for more than a decade. Over the years our families have explored many resort areas on Maui, as well as those on other Islands. In the end, we always found ourselves coming back to Ekahi. We purchased Ekahi 5A in October 2010 and purchased 1C in December of 2013 (sold 8/2021) and most recently 5D in December 2015. We are especially committed to having the most well stocked units at Ekahi. Our guests will enjoy nothing but top quality when it comes to linens, kitchen supplies, beach gear, baby gear, electronics etc.. We’ve tried to think of everything so that you can focus on relaxing and enjoying your time in paradise. Our goal is to offer an experience that will encourage you to return and stay with us again. Ekahi Village is well known as wonderful family friendly location on Keawakapu beach in Wailea. The main pool and 3 quiet pools are loved by the many repeat guests. The main pool has plenty of lounge chairs and the pool pavilion offers many tables, a kitchen with ranges, refrigerators, ice maker, barbecues.....

Location, location, location. Anyone who has visited Ekahi previously knows proximity to the beach is paramount. Many units require a hike up the hill which is probably not what you want when you are carrying boogie boards, beach chairs, umbrellas, towels, food... and maybe a couple of tired kiddos.
