Casa familiar con una vista de millones de dólares del lago Lewis Smith. Ideal para vacaciones familiares, viajes de chicas, viajes de pesca, etc. --- El hogar estaba en HGTV Bargain Lake Front Homes. Si desea alojarse en un hermoso lago cristalino, con puestas de sol tranquilas, nuestro lugar es perfecto para usted. Happy Place indeed

This lake house is lovely !! The veiw is amazing !! The area is soo nice . The house is so clean and very guest friendly .. It’s an excellent place to stay . I only wish we could have stayed longer .

A Happy Place for a vacation!

This place is amazing! So much larger than we imagined! We had 10 adults for breakfast, lunch, and dinner at the large table! The deck and view are amazing! The owners are super and we hope to return very soon!

Awesome place

Great property!! Close to grocery store but still great location on lake. Only problem at all and it won’t stop me from renting again, is the boat dock doesn’t have an open slip so you have to tie off on one side which is fine unless it rains. But I would definitely recommend this property.

Definitely “A Happy Place!”

Our family had a great stay at this lake house. The view is gorgeous! We enjoyed the main porch, the screened-in porch, as well as, the boat dock. There was ample seating on each level. Unlike other vacation homes, this owner had everything in the kitchen that we needed to cook and eat with. They also had games to enjoy! We highly recommend “A Happy Place.”

Wonderful view and a peaceful, quiet place to rest and relax!

We absolutely loved this lake house and the stunning, million-dollar views! The neighborhood was peaceful and felt very safe. We especially enjoyed the pier and the water. This was our first time staying at Smith Lake, and we really loved the area. The house was exactly as described in the listing. Our kids had a blast, and the water was absolutely beautiful. The check-in and check-out process was super easy, and the host was terrific, with great communication. Thank you for sharing your home—we'll definitely keep this house on our list for future visits!

When can we come again to A Happy Place?!

This lake house is ideal for a peaceful getaway. The view is incredible and the layout is perfect for two families. We had 4 adults and 2 almost grown children. We felt like we were away from busyness of life but a grocery store is not that far away! The kitchen had everything we needed for preparing our meals. I could go on & on. We would definitely rent this property again. We didn’t want to leave.

Fun and relaxing family getaway

This property and Smith Lake did not disappoint. The listing photos and description is very accurate, the house was very well stocked with everything we needed, Rene was easy to get in touch with, and we cannot wait to return for a future visit! Our little boy (2.5 years old) didn’t want to leave. We probably jumped off the dock and the rocks 500 times into that beautiful water! We rode many many miles on the lake in our boat and it really seems like the location and view of this property is REALLY top notch! Thanks for sharing your home and we can’t wait to come again next year!

Family Vacation

We had a really great time. Very relaxing!!!! Thought there would be more to do around the area. The toilet was broken when we got there. They couldn’t come and fix it until Tuesday. After they fixed it it still did not work. Other then that is was a good trip!!!!!

Holiday week

My family and I have rented a lakehouse on Smith lake for the past 3 years, but this was a new area of the lake for us. We loved that it was less than a 5 min drive to the local grocery store and DG. This property was also super clean! Everything from the inside all the way to the bin of boat dock accessories was all free of dust! The neighborhood was clean and safe.

Beautiful View

We greatly enjoyed our stay. We had 10 adults. We enjoyed all eating around the large table and playing games. Plenty of room on the dock for us to all hangout comfortably. The view of the lake is spectacular. We were disappointed that the third shower/tub is not able to be used and the listing does not reflect that. We were able to make it work with two showers but a third would have been helpful. Overall, we had a great time and I would definitely stay here again.

Amazing trip

A Happy Place was just that for us - A (very) Happy Place to spend Labor Day weekend. The property accommodated our group of two families (four adults and 3 children) perfectly. The view of the lake is breathtaking, the dock is situated in a calm little cove that is perfect for swimming and exploring the adjacent rocks, and the kitchen and home were fully stocked with everything we needed. We were disappointed to see that the tub/shower in the third bathroom cannot be used, but we were able to fit in all showers, etc. in the other two bathrooms. Beds were comfortable and the property is nicely situated within 5 minutes of a grocery store, which is a huge plus! All in all, this was a fantastic first visit to Smith Lake. We would definitely recommend the property to others.

Can’t wait to come back

We had an amazing weekend! Rene was incredibly responsive, kind, and helpful when it came to our reservation and specific questions we had. The view from her cabin is amazing and the location is perfect- you’re out of all the busy traffic on the lake and can still enjoy tubing/skiing. Would most definitely stay here again!!

Family Holiday

We enjoyed our stay at A Happy Place. Everything was fantastic. My favorite part--not many steps to water. Had plenty of room for everyone and the littles really enjoyed the yellow water mat. We rented a boat from Duncan Bridge Marina which made the holiday complete. Thank you for letting us use your lovely home.

Fantastic Time

We’ve spent many years visiting Smith Lake - our family loves it here. So after renting several properties over the years...this one checked many boxes for all 7 of us. Plenty of room and bathrooms. Not many stairs to the water. Open kitchen and den space for us all to hangout together. Loved the big kitchen table. Kids enjoyed the kayak and water toys provided by the owner. We really enjoyed all the seating on the dock. Spent a lot of time on the doc swing! So close to Duncan Bridge and Dunskin Point Marina. Kitchen well stocked. Plenty of towels, blankets and linens. Easy access to town. Owner is quick to respond to any questions. We are keeping this property on our favorites list.

You can see the lake from both Master Suites, Kitchen & Den. Great home for family vacations, Girl's Trips, Fishing Trips, etc. We have lots of covered decking and uncovered decks. Year round water for fishing, kayaking, swimming and relaxing. You are a few steps away from one of the cleanest lakes in North America. We were lucky enough to be on HGTV Bargain Lake Hunters. You can see our house and see why we picked it - we think its the best house on Smith Lake especially with our million dollar view.

Just a few steps from the back door is the lake - there is a swim platform and place to tie up your boat on the side of dock - Two kayaks with life jackets available if you would like to fish from or just paddle around - this is available at no charge
