Apartamento de un dormitorio bien equipado y soleado en el principal distrito peatonal de Oaxaca: El Zócalo, Santo Domingo, restaurantes, mercados, tiendas, museos, cafeterías y un centro para viajes a Monte Albán, Mitla, los mercados semanales, etc.

CARACTERÍSTICAS DE ALQUILER
- Cocina completamente equipada con refrigerador, estufa, cafetera, licuadora, ollas, sartenes, platos y utensilios.
- Salón con sofá y silla.

The location is MAGICAL. It's right in the HEART of El Centro, Oaxaca! WALKABLE! Galleries, museums, theaters, markets, and 1500s Cathedrals/architecture surround the apartment. November kicks off the dry season with El Dia de Muerte. A month later, and festivities haven't stopped! Live music, wedding processions with marching bands, and other cultural events can occur day or night. If you need to work early, use ear plugs at first. After a couple of nights, I didn't notice the sounds anymore. The location is behind a high-end shop with great security. I am a solo female traveler and I felt VERY safe here! The shower is spacious and the bathroom and kitchen have reliable hot water. The WiFi in dining room and living room is very strong. No Spanish? The host speaks English! - La ubicación es MÁGICA. ¡Está justo en el CORAZÓN de El Centro! ¡CAMINABLE en cualquier dirección! Galerías de arte de clase mundial, museos, teatros, mercados e increíbles catedrales, arquitectura rodean el apartamento. Música en vivo, procesiones de bodas con bandas de música y otros eventos culturales pueden ocurrir de día o de noche. Si necesita trabajar temprano, use tapones para los oídos al principio. Después de un par de noches, ya no noté los sonidos. La ubicación está detrás de una tienda de alta gama con gran seguridad. ¡Soy una mujer que viaja sola y me sentí MUY segura aquí! La ducha es espacios baño y la cocina tienen agua caliente confiable. WiFi en el comedor y la sala de estar: 10/10

Perfect location, wonderful place

I had a great stay in this terrific apartment. The location really couldn't be better, it's very clean and well-stocked, and the owner is very responsive and helpful. There was a small glitch at check-in, which was unfortunate, but the owner and property manager are generally very on top of all of the logistics and I felt lucky to find this place.

Solid apartment in perfect location

Simple, solid, clean, no frills apartment. Location couldn't be better. Minutes to Santo Domingo (we prefer it to the Zocalo), museums, and some of the best restaurants in the city. Entrance through a gift shop was a bit confusing.Maybe I'm spoiled from other rentals, but "no frills" here was a bit too much. I've come to expect some basic kitchen amenities - coffee, oil, napkins - none of that here (that's why it's 4 instead of 5 stars).Finally, the rooster. Yes, there is a rooster and he crows. But you stay in a VRBO apartment instead of a chain hotel because you want to be immersed in the neighborhood. That's part of the deal.

Pleasant Casita in Prime Area

The casita was appropriate for two people. The bed was comfortable, the living room was small. The kitchen had two burners and a nice sized refrigerator. The location was very good for someone visiting Oaxaca. Although there was surrounding noise, the church bells, a neighborhood rooster land some noise that carried down from the Galaguetza auditorium, we found that the location was what really mattered. The people who were on the front store were very helpful and I appreciated their assistance supporting my wife who has a mobility handicap. The housekeeper was very pleasant and was there to assist. Selena met us late in the evening and answered all our concerns as well as recommendations for a driver. We were there for six weeks and it was nice to have the amenities of a wonderful bakery, the Pechote market and restaurants so close by. You get value and you have a nice accommodation. Would definitely try to request this place should we return to the wonderful city of Oaxaca

Adorable casita in great location

My friend and I stayed here during Guelaguetza and it was the perfect location. Just steps away from markets and festivities. The host was very friendly and accommodating and responded quickly to any questions. Check in was a bit difficult as the entrance is unclear and behind a storefront. We had to call to meet someone there. They were wonderful about explaining things once we were in though. There is indeed a rooster next door and he is no joke. Woke up at 3am sharp every night and had a few encores during the afternoon. I wore earplugs and kept the fan on at night and he didn’t bother me too much. For anyone working remotely, be aware that the internet was very unstable. There was only signal in certain rooms and some days it wouldn’t connect at all. Trying to have zoom calls was very frustrating. Overall we had a wonderful stay here and even extended our trip for a few days. I highly recommend if you are looking to stay in centro. The price and location can’t be beat.

The property is in very good condition, and very comfortable. Excellent location, close to most restaurants and bars, in the nicer part of downtown Oaxaca. The owner is very responsive. Generally very quiet, except for a neighbor's rooster that makes noise non-stop between 3am-noon... can be heard even through earplugs.

A great location in central Oaxaca

This was a great place to stay for exploring central Oaxaca--close to all the markets, the Zocalo, and the Jardin Etnobotanico. I really appreciated having a functional kitchen since I cooked for myself a lot of the time. There was a great market only a few blocks away for fresh food, and convenience stores also close-by for milk/yogurt/paper products/olive oil, things like that. Quiet also, except for a rooster near-by, but I used the electric fan for sound masking and that worked well!

Great little spot in a perfect location

Had a great time in Oaxaca and this was a great spot to stay. It was quiet and in a very central location. I worked remote for a few weeks here and it was perfect. Wifi supported video calls and basic working. Would recommend and would stay here again.
