University Heights es una gran comunidad ubicada sobre los cañones de San Diego. La casa está a poca distancia de cafeterías, restaurantes y bares locales. A minutos del mercado de agricultores Hillcrest Sunday y Balboa Park. Balboa Park es el hogar de 21 museos, un campo de oro y el famoso zoológico de San Diego. La unidad está ubicada en el primer piso de un dúplex. Tendrás acceso completo al patio delantero y trasero. El área frontal se comparte con la unidad de arriba y estamos a 1/2 cuadra de Park Blvd con las principales rutas de autobuses.

Such a great little space. Small, but fantastic attention to detail on renovations. Lovely outdoor space that is a really nice size to hang out and let dogs out. That coffee and breakfast close. We would definitely go back!

It was ideal for me and my small dog. The location makes it easy to get to anything and anywhere in San Diego. Mark is amazing in his prompt communication. i would definitely recommend this for one or two people. If my travels take me back to San Diego, this is certainly one property I have saved for a possible future stay!

The apartment is on the small side, so best for a couple or single traveler. But it's clean and well-equipped, comfortable and convenient for visiting the San Diego area.

This property is adorable! Very fresh, new, and clean. Great communication from owners, easy check in/out. Love the location, very close to lots of restaurants, coffee shops, and various eating establishments. We would definitely stay here again:)

Excellent experience

Outstanding property in an excellent location. The unit is lovely, clean and very conveniently located in the heart of University Heights. We very much enjoyed the little private patio. The hosts were wonderful and extremely responsive. I will stay here again when I return to San Diego.

We had a great experience staying at this property. Mark was very attentive & responsive. He offered to get any item/supply dropped off using his Instacart Express membership. Wonderful, quiet neighborhood next to many bars, coffee shops, and restaurants. Would stay again!

Lovely place and great location

The apartment was very easy to find thanks to the painted shark. Place was as described and very clean. The backyard was a plus and the picnic table was nice for eating dinner. Owners responded quickly to questions and helpful with things to do and places to eat. The coffee place at the end of the block had lots of yummy food. Location was perfect for everything I did. Freeway was close and stores were nearby. Overall, I loved this place and definitely would recommend. I will come back in the near future.

Great property in lively location

The property was great for our small party (2 adults + preschooler) and would also be perfect for a couple or maybe one additional small child. Location is within walking distance of lots of restaurants. If not up for eating in after a long day, the backyard is a great place for adults to eat and drink while the kids play. The indoors was efficient and well thought-out, with lots of convenient things like charging stations. Major attractions, like the zoo, are a short drive. We would definitely stay again.

Lovely condo with comfortable bed

This condo fit our needs in every way. The bed was comfortable, it was clean and nicely appointed and it was close to restaurants and coffee shops. We worried that it might be noisy but even though we stayed over a weekend, we heard one burst of laughter at 11pm and that was it. The property manager responded quickly when we had a question.

Excellent Location!

I looked long and hard and finally found the best place for us! It’s perfectly located - everything is a 15 mins drive max! You can walk to the various restaurants in the evening after a long day of sightseeing and there is a nice park about 5 minutes walk from the house where you can walk your doggo friend! We wanted to take our pooch to the ocean and being able to find such a great apartment where we could have him with us without any hustles (has to stay in a kennel all day, has to weigh less than 20lbs etc was just wonderful! The parking is super convenient right next to the apartment! The area is very safe and quiet at night! Communication with the owner was very smooth-he answered all our questions and helped with whatever we needed right away! If we will go back to San Diego we will definitely book this wonderful place again!

Great Place!

This was a great place to stay, would highly recommend it. It’s within walking distance of some great restaurants and it’s in a beautiful neighborhood if you enjoy walking around. Will definitely stay there again!!!

We were thrilled with our stay in university heights! Everything about the property exceeded our expectations. Due to weather, our flight was delayed for several days and Robert extended our stay and was an amazing help. Throughout the years, we have stayed in many university heights rentals and this was by far the best!

Comfortable space

We appreciated the comfort and spacious feeling of this place; plenty of room in the closet for clothing and in the kitchen for breakfast items and left-overs, etc. The couch and t.v. with lots of viewing choices were perfect to unwind after a busy day. We also loved the location; walking distance to food and coffee places. We felt it was a safe and pleasant neighborhood. Thank you for making your place available and affordable!

Cute place in a fantastic location

Really cute place in a great location, close to the things we wanted to do in San Diego. The backyard and front patio were great places to hang out and and enjoy being with family. The owners were also super communicative and responsive to questions we had about the place.

Perfect Location for Visiting All of San Diego!

Originally I had booked a hotel for San Diego, but mid-California vacation I opted to cancel and book this VRBO. Best decision ever. The University Heights neighborhood is delightful, quiet and literally a super easy drive to anywhere you want to visit. We spent time in La Jolla, Ocean Beach, San Diego Zoo, Whale Watching, and a drive down to the border “just because.” The unit is small, but it was just me and my three daughters. The cost was just right for us. The backyard patio offers extra outdoor space to lounge and eat. There is a large walk-in closet in the master bedroom with ample storage space, hanging bars and a dresser. The bed was comfortable and had two bedside tables that were nice space to have. Two of my children slept on the futon bed while we were there. I wouldn’t recommend for four adults, but four including at least two children in your party will work just fine. The kitchen is amazing—everything we needed. There is a coffee shop right down the block, and a bunch of other stores and restaurants within very close walking or driving distance. I have very minor suggestions and thoughts on the property: I asked that the owners consider more shelving in the bathroom for personal items, as it is a pedestal sink. We were a party of FOUR female…lots of make-up and facial care (LOL). Also, the lighting in the bathroom was extremely poor and unable to rectified while we stayed. I’m sure they’ll address this, minor issue. The bathroom shower is amazing…very large. The parking situation can be a little hairy. There are two dedicated spots, but don’t come with a car bigger than a Honda Fit! We were driving a full SUV (rented) and couldn’t fit in the spaces. We were always able to find street parking, but at times we had to circle the block a couple of times and wait for someone to leave. When I was tired and wanted to be comfortable, that was annoying. I highly recommend this property if you want a more “home” feel stay (not a hotel)..options to cook, watch TV and relax in quiet. The neighborhood is incredibly safe. We loved San Diego!
