Disfrute de nuestra nueva adquisición de dos niveles con vistas espectaculares de la ciudad y las sierras a través de ventanas panorámicas desde casi cualquier habitación de la casa. Esta casa está convenientemente ubicada a cuatro millas del centro de convenciones de Reno, los hoteles / casinos Atlantis y Peppermill y el distrito de entretenimiento del centro de Reno.

Nuestra casa de Whistlewood tiene una gran sala de estar con acogedora chimenea ubicada junto a la cocina gourmet y espectaculares vistas de la ciudad y las sierras.

Nuestra cocina gourmet tiene mostradores de granito e isla con vitrina, refrigerador de doble puerta, lavaplatos, pequeños electrodomésticos surtidos y está completamente amueblada para servir a grupos de hasta dieciséis.

Esta casa tiene un gran comedor con capacidad para ocho en la ventana frontal y un segundo comedor para seis fuera de la cocina.

La habitación familiar tiene vistas similares a través de ventanas panorámicas con chimenea acogedora y barra integrada, mesa de billar profesional, barra integrada y vinoteca y sofá cama para equipar esta habitación como un quinto dormitorio.

Nuestra casa de Whistlewood tiene cuatro habitaciones más, todas con sus propios televisores, comenzando con la habitación principal de arriba con cama king y baño adjunto con mostradores de azulejos y bañera y ducha separadas. El segundo dormitorio principal de arriba tiene una cama queen con baño cercano. En la planta baja hay dos dormitorios adicionales con una cama Queen en uno y dos literas dobles / gemelas en el otro con dos baños cercanos. Dos camas de aire de alta gama adicionales están disponibles a pedido para grupos más grandes.

Whistlewood tiene una sala de lavandería totalmente amueblada ubicada en la planta baja y todas nuestras casas tienen wi-fi para su disfrute.

Ski vacation with non-skiers

We have family ranging from 18-64 years old with variable ski abilities and joint mobility, so this year we looked for a place that would give the non-skiers more choices while others were tackling the slopes. This property was very easy access to the highways and close to many amenities such as ski rentals (less expensive than in Tahoe!), grocery shopping, bowling, shows in Downtown Reno...it was so nice to have options. Communication with the property manager Rick was easy and I want to give a special shout out to the housekeeping/maintenance team of Mandy and Graham who went above and beyond to help us out with little issues left behind by previous tenants after a quick turnover. The kitchen has a nice set of pots, lots of plates and utensils, and a very quiet and efficient dishwasher. The gas grill worked well for our steaks. There was not much by way of baking equipment, but with so many restaurants and shopping choices nearby, items like casserole dishes and cookie sheets were not missed for our short vacation stay. The four bedrooms are described accurately in the body of the listing and in pictures but the VRBO quick icon descriptions inaccurately describe bunk beds that are no longer there. Rick (the manager) tried to work with VRBO to fix it but something in the website won't allow the change; however communication about the set up was excellent long before our stay and certainly was not the fault of the manager. We loved using the pool table. Will rent again!

Visiting Family

We spent two weeks at the house. We loved the layout, location, comfortability, stocked kitchen, mature landscaping, outdoor spaces, and garage. The house was 5 minutes from two golf courses. We were able to zip over several times for early tee times and evening tee times. We stored our golf clubs in the garage. The house was close to the airport for our flights. The house was perfect for visiting family we enjoyed the relaxing time and would book the house again.

3 coworkers and I were in town for a Reno conference that was a short drive to the house. House had plenty of space and the basement was a perfect hangout space.

Business turned pleasure

We had 6 guys staying here for a week. The place was big enough for everyone. Some guys were using the fire pit outside in the evening. Some would shoot pool. Some would play video games on one of the large TV's. The house was equipped with everything we needed. All we had to do was get our groceries. Communication with the owner was great. He checked via text to see how we were doing. He even sent us a reminder text when it was trash day. I wouldn't have changed a thing.

Great house for a Reno conference

This was a perfect house for a bunch of colleagues and myself, in town for a big conference. It was only a 10 minute Uber or Lyft to the conference downtown and it fit us all well. Highly recommended.

Long Military Retirement Weekend

We had an amazing time at the Whistlewood house! We are local but rented it to accommodate ourselves and a large group of family & friends coming in from all over the country for my husband’s military retirement. The neighborhood is beautiful, quiet, and high end. Many of our guests were surprised to find such a beautiful spot in Reno. The home is spacious and accommodated a huge group with room to spare. It was clean, cozy, and full of everything we needed to cook large meals and enjoy ourselves. We were also pleasantly surprised at the last minute to find we could bring our dogs for a nominal extra fee, so we cancelled our boarding reservation and they enjoyed the weekend with us. Highly recommend this property and Rick and his team. Thanks for a great time!

beautiful home

The house was very clean and beautiful throughout the property. It has a pool table for entertainment and the property managers were thorough on the walk through and very easy to communicate with. I would without a doubt stay here again

Whistlewood, Reno NV Property 03/23/2019 through 03/26/2019

The property was in a prime neighborhood and location, just a couple of easy miles from the major Casinos. The house was very comfortable for the 12 of us, especially the large dinning room table and the game room, and beautifully furnished and decorated. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed, including coffee. Bedrooms quite adequate and comfortable. One disappointment was with the back yard. I specifically asked if it was a wood or gas fired Fire Pit, and got the reply that it was wood fired but that they were going to convert it to gas. I then asked if firewood was provided, and got a negative response. We therefore hauled 3 nights of firewood with us and were very fortunate to have good weather, and looked forward BBQ-ing and dinning out on the patio in front of a roaring fire. Turns out they had just started the gas conversion and the pit was unusable with wood. We were informed that their Maintenance Man would see if either the conversion could be completed, or the gas fixture removed for wood use. Unfortunately we never heard back and were forced to take all our meals inside, and were unable to enjoy the cold nights in the back yard. Just as well maybe, as the BBQ was filthy and I was not interested in cleaning up after someone else. Our only other disappointment was with the TV's. There were plenty of them, in the bedrooms and exceptionally large ones in the Living room and Game room, but we were never able to get the one in the game room to work. All TV's had 2 to 3 remotes, and with 5 kids we ended up spending a considerable amount of time trying to keep them working, even with 7 adults very familiar, of course, with the issues involved. We suggest getting Universal Remotes, one for each set, to avoid the frustration.

The best Reno has to offer!!!

There are so many wonderful reasons why this should be your first and only consideration for a vacation rental in Reno. Rick and Mandy are an absolute dream to work with during the whole process. Many vacation rentals have a firm set of rules and cleaning that needs to be taken care during your stay. Our check-in and check-out was a breeze and they were accommodating and flexible. The house was absolutely gorgeous. Usually, in mountain towns, you get stuck on a hard spring mattress from 20 years ago but all the beds in the house had upgraded memory foam making all your guests feel rested and comfortable. Aside from the luxury within the house, you get breathtaking views of the mountains and you are a short uber/lyft to downtown areas. The raley's nearby has all the yummy snacks and food you could possibly need for your stay as well. We would love to come back and visit with any of our friends for a relaxing weekend getaway in the future. I highly recommend staying at any one of Rick's amazing properties. When it comes to hospitality and customer service you can tell how serious they take there guests. Enjoy your future stay!

Beautiful!!

This is a beautiful home in a very nice neighborhood. We had a large group in town for my sons graduation from UNR and it accommodated every one. Rick was very attentive and made sure I had everything that I needed. This house doesn't disappoint!! It is very comfortable just like home. We actually ended up extending our stay and Rick was very helpful with that process. If I am ever in Reno for an extended amount of time this will be my first choice. Hot August Nights 2018

Rick was great. To no fault of his, but the housekeeper missed a few things, but all I had to do was text him one time and he had the housekeeper contact me and the issue was resolved. The only thing I would say Rick needs to do is update the 2nd Master, all other beds had memory mattresses/toppers except the 2nd Master. The bed was way too hard, if he changes that that would really make it a 6 Star

Luxury at it's best!

We stayed here for a work project in Reno. This was the perfect place to stay for my group to enjoy in luxury. Plenty of space and a full functioning kitchen. The view was truly incredible! Thank you Rick for all of your help!
