I’d like to start by saying that we really enjoyed the unit, with the exception of the first night. At about 3:30 am, the fire alarm went off. Our family was scared to death, kids were crying and we didn’t know what was happening. We made sure the kids were safely outside and then checked the unit. Thankfully, there wasn’t any smoke or fire. We couldn’t figure out why the alarm went off but aired out the unit, got the alarm to go off, and then tried to get the family resettled. Unfortunately, when we were back to sleep, the alarm went off again, this time around 6. We, again, made sure the kids were safely outside and checked out the unit. The situation was the same as before. I contacted the front desk and then let me know that maintenance would be there soon (as they started at 7). The alarm would turn off and then sound again. This happened 5 times, including once when the maintenance was there fixing them. They took the alarms out of the unit and came back later to replace them. I am very thankful nothing bad happened, however, my family did not get sleep that first night and that really put a damper on our following day as kids were cranky and tired. No one checked back in with us after the replacement which was a little surprising.
