This was an amazing lake rental! Our family of 21 had plenty of room. The home is SO well stocked. It had everything we needed to cook for everyone and keep everyone comfortable. Tammy was so communicative, even sending recommendations for NYE fun. We would definitely book this again!

The home was sparkling clean with a nice layout, plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms. The setting is incredible, a real plus to be away from the crowds in town. We loved the vaulted ceiling and the gorgeous views on the deck. We were disappointed with the basement. It was a surprise that the floors were cement. The three bedrooms downstairs were not as inviting compared to the rooms upstairs. The lot was beautiful with a charming little trail. But, just as shown in their pictures you must beware of a mother moose and babies. This was nice to see wildlife so close, but it also hampered our use of the yard especially as we worried about children’s safety.

Quiet neighborhood and not far from main road into garden city. Beautiful views, great yard for kids to run around or just to sit and enjoy the views. Plenty of comfortable beds. House was clean. Only complaint was the TV's did not have instructions and we were unable to have access to our own streaming aps. I recommend you bring your own roku or other devises. Also wish there were blinds on front windows to block morning sun which affects kitchen/livingroom. Would love to stay again.

Great view with plenty of room for our family reunion

We were wowed when we first arrived to find a bull moose in the backyard, this property is easy to get to but is still located next to a forest. We had a family reunion with 6 families which was the perfect fit for the layout. 2 sets of washers and dryers was a plus.

This was a great place for our family reunion. It was comfortable and spacious for all 23 of us. Very clean, well maintained, and well stocked. One thing to note is that there is a steep drop off around the front of the property where the lawn is and by the playground. We lost several balls and had to watch our littles closely when on the playground. It wasn’t a dealbreaker for us, though. We all agreed we’d love to come back to this house next year.

Reunion Fun

We love to come to Bear Lake every year, and this was perfect for our family. We had plenty of bathrooms, hot water, comfy beds for everyone. We loved the hot tub and the playground was a huge hit with our littles. Other than a hiccup with check in, we really had a fabulous time! We hope to return next year to make more memories.

Family reunion

This was such an amazing location! We loved everything about it. The decor, deck, hot tub, and The kitchen was actually stocked with more than enough dishes for the amount of people we had, this is rare. Everyone had a terrific time. We would for sure stay here again.

Bear Lake Views

Wonderful home with great views of Bear Lake. We really liked the trees near the house and the trails nearby. The ping pong table was a hit and there was plenty of off street parking. The foosball table had one lose player but we had fun playing with it. Plenty of puzzles and movies to enjoy! The entertainment room was a hit but I do wish there were some instructions with each specific TV in the house. Instructions for operating the fireplace would be helpful too. Somehow I missed that there was a second fridge in the garage in the house description which was much needed since we were early in the season without many restaurants open yet. Plenty of plates and pans and small appliances but no wine glasses. The cleaning materials were helpful to keep the house clean and there were plenty of towels. There were extra warm blankets which were needed in the cold weather we had although the pillows could use an upgrade. We never used the jacuzzi but it was a lovely option.

2024 Family Reunion

We have been to Bearlake many times as a family. Our family has grown over the years and this property provided us with many sleeping options and ample bathrooms. The kitchen is well stocked. We enjoyed having a grass area to play (but not ideal for spike ball or Crossnet) You will also find games, cards, videos in the house. Bathroom shampoo, conditioners and body wash are in cute black containers, but difficult for housekeeping to know when they need filled. Overall, I would say we had a great time and this Maple Retreat fit the bill.

Best reunion stay

Our family of 27 stayed here for a family reunion for three nights. The house was perfect! The host was so great and easy to contact and even let us check in in the morning instead of the afternoon. It was clean and spacious, the rooms were great, the beds were comfortable, the hot tub was also great. The location of the house was my favorite though. It’s at the end of the cul-de-sac sort of up on the mountain, so it was quiet and secluded! Just perfect!

Best family vacation!

Perfect place for our big family! Everyone had a roomy comfortable bedroom. The main living space was so spacious and everything we needed was provided. It’s a beautiful location with a stunning view of the lake. Communication with the owners is quick and easy. We were thrilled with the experience!

Awesome place to stay with our children and grandkids Had such a great time we came back a 2nd year! Cabin was clean, well stocked and has an amazing view of the lake. Annual Family Bear Lake Trip

The house was very nice, it worked out well for our family, we loved to be up and away from things and the area was nice. The house overall was clean except for the kitchen, was a little dirty, crumbs and sticky on the counter top, something on the microwave, oven and fridge. No big deal... I just wiped them up, but the microwave would not come clean. Some crumbs on the couches. The locks do not work on the bathroom doors. We really enjoyed our stay, everything worked well. We rented a house last year that was not clean at all, the grill and firepit did not work, so this was very nice. A bit dusty some places. You have a beautiful home. We enjoyed our stay. We would love to come back again to Bear Lake next year... but VRBO fees are getting so high, not sure it is worth it. (not about your home, VRBO) We were happy with our stay at your home. Thank you!

We had a wonderful stay. This beautiful home was perfect for our family reunion, clean and well stocked, with a great view of the lake. The kids loved the wooded area and the hot tub was also a hit, young and old.

Happy New Year’s Eve 2022

Happy New Year’s Eve 2022!! We had a wonderful stay, with our family. We have lots of little children, 10 under the age of eight. It was really nice to have lots of beds in every room. It was also nice to have toys and games available to them. We had a great time Sledding down the road, and it grateful that the snow plow showed up every morning. I would definitely recommend this place for big families. Our only issue was that the hot tub was small and didn’t seem very clean and had a weird smell. Everything else was great and we loved it. Also, the owner showed up as we checked in to make sure everything was what we needed and immediately changed batteries for a smoke detector beeping. So great service!!

This home comes on 1.5 acres of beautiful forest which is awesome to explore. We built here with our grand kids in mind, knowing how much fun they will have exploring the trees! We also have built the house to be wheelchair accessible via a ramp from the garage into the house as well as doors that are 4 ft wide for easy access into the bedrooms. Master shower is also designed for someone who needs wheelchair access as well as a bench to sit on.
