Fantastic house!

We were there for our parents’ 50th. We were incredible comfortable and the house was full of wonderful little extras. This house is definitely on the list of repeaters!

Perfect for our family

This is our third stay at Bear Lake Retreat and it was perfect as always. As the trip planner, I love that I don’t have to worry about forgetting anything since they have almost everything we might possibly need. The house is always very clean and organized. Fun toys and games for the grandkids and plenty for the adults too. Our family age range is 64 to 6 months and everyone has a great time. Beautiful views and a great yard. Love the fresh flowers and gift basket with local treats. Couldn’t ask for more and can’t wait for next summer!

Great house with lots of extras!

This house was absolutely perfect for my families vacation. Literally every family member commented about how beautiful the property was and what a great view it had. They had tons of extras in the kitchen, including a s’more making kit, spices, Ziploc bags, k- cups, etc. They had a great little welcome guest basket for us as well. I’ve rented plenty of houses, but the owners of this house really went above and beyond with extras for us. The house had plenty of towels for everyone. They also had extra camping chairs we were able to use plus toys for the kids to play with at the beach. The one thing I was disappointed about, actually ended up being a positive. I looked around the house for the hot tub mentioned, but it was actually located down at ideal Beach resort. So although I was sad we didn’t have the hot tub at the house having beach Access through the resort was really great. Plus they have pools and hot tubs. If we ever do another family trip to Bear Lake , we will definitely be renting this house again!

Absolutely Perfection

One of cleanest and nicest homes we have stayed in. The host was easy to communicate with and so helpful. The home is fully stocked. Loved having access to Ideal Beach and rentals.

Immaculate Space, perfect location

We hosted a family reunion with 20 people. The home was immaculate and comfortably slept us all. Lots of extras, great view of the lake and right on the golf course.

Awesome place

This is an amazing place. Very nice home right on the 2nd tee. Plus, access to Ideal Beach and all of that property and amenities was great. Everything was as described and even better it was clean.

Few days in paradise

Everything about the house was perfect and exceeded expectations. Such a beautiful setting. every detail was considered we loved every minute spent there thank you for making our time together extremely special. The love and personal interest was evident in your home.(one small suggestion to accommodate people with a crummy knee, you might have a handrail going out just those three beautiful stairs. We did not damage the toilet paper fixture in the master bathroom. Sorry to even mention some thing that wasn’t beautiful and an excellent presentation because we did enjoy every moment. We loved every minute at your home. It was truly beautiful loved the guest treat box and flowers. So many extra touches. Thank you.

The Perfect Property

This property was a recommendation from family who enjoyed their stay, but we were amazed at our good fortune from the time we opened the front door! The house is immaculate, beautiful, with so many personal touches, the landscaping is perfect, the view from the entire back of the house is gorgeous and we have never stayed in a house that is so well stocked with EVERYTHING you might need; you just have to think of it and it is there. The welcome basket is such a nice, personal touch and we felt right at home. Honestly, we can't say enough good about how this property and how it made our time at Bear Lake perfect. Thank you Stringhams for being such excellent hosts.

Beautiful Property

The Blue Lake Retreat is a property we will definitly stay in again. The home itself was in pristine condition, and so welcoming in appearance. The layout was well thought out, providing four separate private areas of the home. The bathrooms and kitchen were well stocked. The back deck view was amazing, looking over the Bear Lake Golf Course, with a view of Bear Lake in the distance. The landscaping was immaculate. Our family loved spending time in the backyard, and enjoyed peacfeful evenings around the firepit enjoying the gorgeous sunsets. The location was fantastic, just minutes away to Ideal Beach, the Pickleville Playhouse, and Garden CIty. We loved our stay and highly recommend it.

Blue Lake Retreat 2023

Outstanding property...beautiful house, new, roomy, very clean, so many amenities, everything promised in the description and to top it all off, a welcome basket filled with treats! The view of the golf course and Bear Lake is spectacular! There was so much for everyone to do. We all loved every minute of our stay and look forward to returning next summer.

Beautiful Property!

This house was immaculately clean and organized! We loved all the available space, we were able to have a little sleeping area for each of our families. The outdoor area was gorgeous and the view in the back was perfect - a view of the lake and a view of the green mountainside. We loved having the option to go to the Ideal Beach resort - we loved doing the mini golfing. The kitchen pantry was well stocked. The kids loved the under the stairs play area and the outdoor games they had. Would definitely stay here again!

Perfect weekend getaway

This property was exactly as advertised including all the little extras. The hosts have provided everything and then some. The access to ideal beach was perfect. We had kids ranging in age from 9 to 18 and all had a great time. Would definitely recommend!

Fantastic house!

We loved this house so much and it was perfect for our family gathering!! We had a group of 12 adults and 3 small children and everyone had plenty of room to visit and sleep and enjoy each other. The house itself is beautiful and so clean. The location on the golf course is great and we loved the access to Ideal Beach to swim, play on the beach, rent wave runners, etc. As has been mentioned, the owners have thought of every detail and we enjoyed them all- s’mores fixings for the fire pit, welcome basket and fresh flowers, an incredibly well-stocked kitchen (we cooked all of our meals at the house), beach gear, golf carts for golfing (we played a fun scramble), etc. I could go on and on. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay- we will definitely be back!

Beautiful home with a beautiful view!

This property was perfect for our large family!!! We comfortably slept 21 people and had people come visit and hang out during the day and we never once felt crowded in the home! The open concept definitely helped with this! The rooms were great sizes with comfortable beds, the pantry was stocked with a lot of things we needed, and everything ran and worked wonderfully! We didn’t seem to run out of hot water with the endless showers after the beach, which was great for our large family! The balcony overlooks the golf course and beyond that you can see the beautiful houses, lake, mountains, and skies! The house felt perfectly clean when we arrived & sheets smelled of that just-washed scent, which we really enjoyed!!! The fridge in the garage helped hold all of our food and drinks that didn’t fit inside! The gift basket that was there when we arrived was a nice touch and everyone loved it! The many windows allowed for a lot of natural light to come in, but they shaded helped keep the sun out when closed. The golf carts were fun to drive around the neighborhood & the access to ideal beach was the cherry on top!! The beach there never felt crowded and we enjoyed mini golfing, the little store, and ice cream shop! We will definitely we back to this home again!!

The home looked like we were the first people to occupy it. (We weren't) It was immaculate. Everything was first class. The kitchen was equipped with quality items and all were large enough for a crowd. Landscaping and location were delightful.

Wonderful property!

This is a wonderful property right on the golf course with a beautiful view of Bear Lake! We enjoyed our stay very much! The entire house was so nice and well supplied with everything needed including an extra fridge in the garage! We also enjoyed the beautiful outdoor area including the fire pit after returning from a fun-filled day on the beach. We loved the flowers and welcome basket! Everything was great! Thank you for a wonderful stay!
