Casa de 3 dormitorios / 2 baños recién construida con vistas a la montaña

Casa de 3 dormitorios recién construida con vistas a la montaña en 5 hermosos acres aislados rodeados de árboles, a solo 3 minutos en coche del centro de la ciudad. Fantástico en todas las estaciones y cerca de increíbles caminatas Catskill, esquí, trineos, cascadas, y el río Hudson, así como las ciudades de Fenicia, Saugerties, Kingston, Catskill, Hudson, Rhinebeck y Tivoli.

El espacio

Mientras buscábamos una cabaña pequeña en Woodstock, nos enamoramos de este hermoso terreno con vistas a la montaña Overlook, a pesar del hecho de que la casa existente estaba cayendo al suelo, desocupada durante años.

Decidimos cambiar el rumbo de nuestro plan original y construir una nueva casa desde cero, que ha sido una aventura emocionante. Nuestro objetivo era construir una escapada cómoda, Byrdcliffe con Escandinavia para nuestra familia y amigos, y a veces la alquilamos cuando no podemos estar aquí para disfrutarla nosotros mismos.

La casa tiene una amplia cocina con todas las comodidades, una gran mesa de comedor, un bar de cocina, una cómoda sala de estar y una biblioteca en la planta superior con un cómodo sofá y televisión. En el exterior tenemos una hamaca, pozo de fuego, sillas Adirondack, porche cubierto y un gran patio soleado con mesa y sombrilla. La casa es muy acogedora en clima frío y ventosa en los meses de verano.

Amazing property! We can’t say enough good things about this wonderful house. The view is amazing and with lots of birds and wildlife to watch. House is well equipped with everything you could need for a stay, including the kitchen. The location is perfect and only minutes from restaurants and supplies. We hope to visit again!

A wonderful home, that thoughtfully includes everything needed for a family with kids of all ages. Stunning views from each room made it hard to leave, yet the location offers close proximity to town and hiking. Super kitchen and outdoor dining/wildlife wathcing area! Hosts are excellent communicators.

This was one of the nicest vacation rental experiences we've had! A quick ride to the heart of Woodstock while staying at a place surrounded by forest with a lovely mountain view. Great seats on the patio and a hammock for reading and soaking up the sounds of birds and golden hour light at sunset. House is beautifully appointed. Love the art and photos on the walls and a super record collection. Kitchen was fun to cook in with a grill for our first night's dinner with a tender steak from Woodstock Meats. Great dining table for dinner conversation. Loved our long October weekend here.

Wonderful house!

This house is just wonderful. Hosts were very responsive. The house is comfy, clean and fully stocked with everything you could need. Plus, a nice patio where we had 2 fires AND a huge collection of vinyl records with a working turntable in the living room. We had fun spinning records one night.We are already talking about going back next year! Woodstock is a great little town. Lots to do and restaurants are excellent.

Our stay was amazing. Check in was simple and clear. The home is beautiful and the view is even more amazing. We had no problem locating the house and once there we couldnt believe how incredible it was. The yard faces the mountian and has amble seating/ firepit(wood included). The home is well maintained, super clean and really gives you a woodstock feel. The bath rooms were stocked with towels and soaps. Sheets/linens provided and cleans. The kitchen was stocked with necessities to cook/ make coffee. I couldnt recommend this home more. The pictures provided dont even do it justice!

So Relaxing!

Everything was great. The outdoor space was wonderful. It was nice being so close to the shops and restaurants in Woodstock. The house is lovely and chill. The view from the back window is gorgeous. The upstairs bathroom is an amazing space, it’s absolutely lovely. The house is calming and refreshing. I would stay again in a heartbeat. Be sure to internalize where the owners say the house is. Your gps will get you close, but it might let you down. It’s super easy to find though. The house is clean, taken care of, and organized.

My friends and I had an absolutely wonderful stay at Allen & Kelly's beautiful home. We have stayed at many different VRBO accommodations but this was, by far, the nicest. It had every comfort we could ever need. Their sense of aesthetics really resonated with ours. Wonderful art, music and nature surrounded us. The house was immaculate and welcoming. I can recommend this place without hesitation. Hope to return soon!

A Relaxing Retreat

My family of five adults had a fantastic long weekend stay at this home in Woodstock. I cannot exclaim enough about spending time here! It was great to linger in the morning before heading out because the home is pretty, bright, clean and comfortable and with super views of the mountains. We especially enjoyed a great selection of records for the turntable. The town center of Woodstock is just minutes away by car. John and Kelly were so accommodating in that they sent emails with ideas of things to do nearby in addition to leaving printed information upon your arrival. This home and surroundings can be enjoyed all four seasons as there are so many activities to do. I highly recommend a visit to this home!

Lovely

The house is lovely with well decorated common spaces. Everything was very clean. The view is amazing and the grounds are well kept. My friend and I did not utilize the kitchen on our short trip, so we cannot speak to whether it is well stocked. The owners seem very thoughtful about everything else though, so I would expect the same for the kitchen. We can’t wait to return!

Peaceful

Lovely place, spotless and uncluttered, everything we needed for our short weekend getaway. Great kitchen for cooking. The many large windows make the most of the beautiful views. My kids enjoyed exploring the grounds. Five minutes to town. Excellent communication with hosts made it easy. Thank you for the nice break!

Beautiful home in an idyllic setting

The house is stunning inside, you can tell John and Kirsty have really spent a lot time capturing a very cool and practical look with the fixtures and fittings. Also, things like the bedding and towels were lovely quality and nice touches like the soaps. The views from the house are beautiful of the mountains and so incredible to experience seeing wild deer and beavers in the garden.

Open, airy, beautifully located house.

I hate giving such a great review to a new house for us, because it'll become difficult for us to re-rent next summer! But the owners were so great, so helpful, so quickly responsive, and house so perfect for us, that we have to share. The house is brand new, built from the bottom up over the bones of a previously existing one. Well equipped, and with a truly exceptional view of Overlook Mountain in Woodstock, in an area we particularly love. Five acres. Private and quiet, but not at all isolated. Five minutes to town, but doesn't feel like it's a part of town at all. The light streams in, and there are views of the mountain(s) from practically everywhere in the house. It was immaculate when we arrived, which is not that common in many rentals. We'll be back for sure.
