As soon as we walk through the gate of the house, the view was gorgeous. The house was a great set up for our family. Loved the open air living areas, but glad to have AC in the bedrooms. Melissa was fantastic, whenever we had a question she was quick to get back to us and very, very helpful & friendly. When we come back again, we will definitely stay here.

Great place to unwind! Amazing Views!

My wife and I spent a week at this beautiful property with some of the best views on the island. Enjoyed the open living common areas but really nice having AC in the bedrooms. Fantastic communication owner/property manager made check in/out a breeze! Highly recommend for a few couples or family that wants to give the kids a separate "wing" to themselves!

Wonderful Stay

Beautiful house with a gorgeous view!

The house was absolutely Amazing!! Everything about it was great. That view, to die for!!! My husband, myself and my two kids (20 & 18) all stayed for the week and we had such a great time. The pool was amazing and we loved every minute of it. The house was so clean and as described in the listing. Melissa was great! She was there to greet us at the airport and drive us to the house and then answered the millions of questions I had. You guys are lucky to have her, she is amazing! We can’t wait to come back and will definitely stay here again!

The perfect stay in St Croix

Spectacular blend of indoor/outdoor living, private and common areas and views of the Caribbean that never end. The house was immaculate, well stocked for meal prep or lounging, and the perfect organization with multiple seating areas for hanging out together in the sun or under cover, or finding space for a little private time. The location on the east end of the island provided perfect weather, welcome breezes and tranquility; the pool was of excellent size and totally refreshing-and the AC in the bedrooms was very much appreciated in the evenings. And Melissa, the property manager, was the best we’ve had in over 40 yrs of travel. Full of recommendation, guidance, and perspectives, she really made the stay very special. Thank you Melissa!! Hope to be back real soon.

Fantastic family home

This is a fabulous home in a wonderful area. We rented a car and it was about 30 mins everywhere. We went to Frederiksted, downtown Christiansted, hiked to the tide pools, kayaked the bioluminescent and it was easy to get around. The best part is every night we would come back and cook up some snacks and have a dance party and play cards. This home will feel like home durning your stay. Melissa was wonderful from getting our groceries before we arrived to meeting us and guiding us back to the house, to recommendations and working us on the day of departure with a late flight. Thank you for opening up your home and sharing the beauty of the views around and the good vibes your home holds!

Paradise

From the minute we started communicating about the property I knew it was going to be an amazing journey! The pictures don't do the home justice! When starting communicating with house manager Melissa, it was such a smooth process. The minute we walked into the home, we knew we had found paradise! The home was beautifully appointed. The terrace and the pool is where we spent most of our time. The beds were comfortable and having AC in each room was a bonus! We ate at some amazing restaurants, chartered a private snorkeling boat with Caribbean Sea Adventures, went parasailing and just sat on the terrace for hours with our coffee! We will definitely rent Estate LaCroix again!! Exceptional home!!!!

Beautiful House/ Beautiful Island/ Great Owners and Property Manager

We loved this house! A common phrase we said and heard during our stay- "I can't believe we are lucky enough to stay here." The views were incredible. It was nice to have individual private rooms and then a common space that was open air!! As the organizer of the trip, I appreciated the owner and property manager's communication both before and during our trip. They had great suggestions when planning our trip and check in with us during the trip to ensure we were well taken care of! Don't' be surprised to see another request from our family to stay at this beautiful property

We Loved Estate LaCroix

We spent much appreciated time at this well engineered vacation home overlooking the Caribbean Sea. The unique contemporary design of the home brings all of the attention to the generous outdoor living space, accessed by wide folding doors that allow the warm sea breezes to flow through the house. There are abundant outdoor spaces, always desirable on an island, that include plenty of shaded area and the large pool. Inside the home is neatly apportioned with comfortable living spaces and bedrooms. But, the best part of this home is the views from most every room and the outdoor living spaces. Looking over the valley and out to the Caribbean Sea is perfectly calming. The nighttime view of the lights of the most charming seaside town of Christiansted were a welcome sight each evening. You will not regret booking an island vacation on tropical St. Croix and Estate LaCrox.

I wish I could keep this one a secret!

What a perfect home for a family holiday. The open air living space is truly unique and made every afternoon a relaxing, chill spot for happy hour. Just a minutes drive from Blue Water Terrace Restaurant which serves up one of the best meals we had on the island. Though close to Duggan's Reef as well, I think the staff and food at Blue Water are far better. We found many beaches withing a short distance from the house and most of the time we had the beach all to ourselves. Colleen was so friendly leading up to our stay, answering all my questions and providing me with an extensive list of recommendations around the island. Listen to this woman she certainly knows her way around pointing out how to have a great vacation. Our group was three couples and two children. The kids of course loved the pool, but the toads, lizards & roosters also provided for some fun as well. We had a special guest resident donkey on the road up to the house for most of our stay. What a big goof he was, loved greeting him every time we came up the hill. If i was to suggest one small item for Colleen, Robin and Walt to take care of it would only be this...please add a couple more large sharp knives, a girl needs a nice cheese plate with her afternoon cocktail! Loved the house, and hope to return in the future!!

Beautiful

My wife and I stayed here during our honeymoon. This home was a wonderful place to stay. As soon as it was booked Colleen reached out to us asking if we have been to St Croix before and we had not. So she gave us a list of things that she thought would be great. She also had Melissa that was a very short stay away from the house that was available to us 24/7 if there was anything that we may have needed. Melissa was great she met us at the airport made sure that we got our rental car without a problem and was also able to stop the house with any food items that we requested before we got there. Unfortunately while we were there we dealt with the tropical storm Ernesto. Before the storm hit Melissa came and tidied up the house and secured everything to make sure nothing would blow away or get damaged. The whole island was without power but believe it or not we still had power. The home has a solar panel system with its own batteries so that if the island is to lose power you will still have it. The island was without power for at least 3 days but we had power all three days. I would recommend to anybody to stay here if they are to visit St Croix. It is beautiful home and my wife and I enjoyed ourselves Colleen and Melissa were great to work with and we're always there if there is anything we needed. Thank you so much for opening your home to us Colleen we greatly appreciate it. Thank you Melissa for being there and making sure we had everything that we needed!!!!

Fantastic, architecturally unique property with gorgeous views and private pool.

We loved Estate LaCroix! We were traveling for our anniversary trip, and decided to return to St. Croix, as we had enjoyed our 2009 trip - where we stayed on the water, in a villa at The Buccaneer. Well, prices at The Buccaneer have more than doubled since that 2009 trip, so we decided to look for a renal property instead. We had several criteria, and Estate LaCroix met most of them: 1) A private pool. 2) An ocean view from the pool (many properties wall off their pool; we wanted a view of the sea when we were in it!) 3) A covered outdoor patio, so we could still enjoy the outdoors, even if it was wet. 4) A king sized bed. We also wanted AC in the master bedroom, which Estate LaCroix did not have. In the end, we decided that the positives far outweighed that one element, so we reserved the property for a week. We were blown away with our experience! First of all, our arrival was changed because American Airlines canceled our outbound flight. Happily, the property manager Millie had given me her cell phone number in advance, so I was able to alert her in real time as to what was going on. Secondly, Millie made sure that we rented from a decent car company, as some of them are a little fly-by-night. We appreciate the care! Next, Millie MET US at the airport, and waited while we got our bags and rental car. She then personally showed us to the house, and walked us through the house and amenities. She made sure we knew what was needed in terms of trash and checkout, and even provided some welcome rum and fruit punch for our cocktails. Lastly, she made a reservation for us that week at a fantastic local restaurant for our anniversary. Truly above and beyond! The house and view were just as advertised, and we loved the architecture, the pool, and the comfortable furniture. Totally worth the money,. Next time, we'll try to entice some friends or family to come along. Thanks for everything, Millie! We've already shared this rental with several friends and co-workers, and are confident that they will love Estate LaCroix just as much as we did. Sandi & Dave November 2021

Beautiful home with beautiful views!!

This home was. Great. I love the open architecture and the evening breezes throughout the house. The home is well appointed and the pool and back deck are spectacular. The property manager gave us lots of tips on beaches and restaurants. This was a very relaxing vacation.

Beautiful view, great pool

Millie was a great manager and made sure we had everything we needed. The pool is much bigger than any others I’ve seen at a personal property on the island. It was refreshing. The views are beautiful.

Best place on the island!

Our family had a wonderful stay! The owner made everything easy from the 1st inquiry we made. The details listed are exactly what you will get and we could not have asked for more. The owner and property manager were easily accessible and helped answer questions prior to our arrival. HIGHLY recommend this home for your stay on the island.

Relaxing Escape

Our family of 5 enjoyed this stay so much. After we had to cancel it in the spring due to CoVid, we were easily able to reschedule for over Thanksgiving. Upon arrival, Millie was there to greet us at the airport and she was SO hopefully to us the entire stay. Everything about the house and the view were perfect. Thank you!

So very satisfied we're returning again in 2020

Our one month vacation for us sunbirds and our family was as advertised. There were a few snags with the property but anyone who rents regularly knows that will happen anywhere, anytime. Your on an island so be prepared and relax. Everything worked out for us rather quickly. Location on the east end is fantastic. Must add that the view is spectacular as other reviewers have done many times. St. Croix is a great place to lay back and enjoy the winter on an island paradise. Not too crowded and traveling around the island was never a problem. We were able to take in the whole island from the east end to the west end. I do not recommend renting a sub-compact. Great hostess and host was Robin and Walt. We have already booked our return trip next year for 2 months that is how much we enjoyed ourselves. P.S. the people of St Croix are fantastic as well.

Beautiful property

Upon arrival to this property, our breath was taken away. The view is stunning from nearly every room of the house. We loved the open-air kitchen and sitting area overlooking the pool and the ocean. Very well maintained property, clean and comfortable rooms, and overall a beautiful place to spend our vacation! We will definitely be staying here on our next visit.

The view is the only good part...

6 of us splurged on what we thought was going to be a beautiful rental home in St. Croix. I conducted my search based on having a W/D, pool and pool table. When we arrived the pool was filthy (and stayed that way for 3 days), the dryer was broken and the pool table was also broken. They told us to keep flipping the switch on the breaker to keep the dryer going, about 10 times a load, which actually ended up burning my finger. The heat element broke as well, which meant the six us who packed light figuring we could wash our clothes were out of luck. You can’t hang dry the clothes since there is nowhere to do it. If you hang them on the balcony they could fall in the pool or on the dirt. Very dangerous in general since the dryer is not vented. I heard the electrician say the breaker needs to be upgraded. The property manager told me the pool table is not listed as an amenity, but if you look at the photos it is literally the focal point of a ton of them. Multiple locks are not operational. They did replace one deadbolt, but other locks are not safe. The property is treacherous. My friend nearly fell down a flight of concrete stairs due to a faulty tile, we all tripped over the uneven tiles in the kitchen and I can’t even imagine bringing young children since the balcony is not protected. The kitchen had a ton of bugs crawling around in it. I lived in St. Croix and know bugs can be an issue, but the kitchen is due for a deep clean. If they got rid of all the grime it would minimize the issue. When we arrived, there was even a cookie sheet in the oven with crumbs on it and a plate in the cabinet with crumbs on it. The property in general needs a good cleaning as there is garbage everywhere. My friend’s shower didn’t have hot water and my other friends had zero water pressure. They told us a switch has to be turned on through a crawl space, but no one ever fixed it. My spouse and I shared the master bedroom and were not expecting to have to share it with six people to take showers. The downstairs bedroom is reached by concrete stairs and has zero lighting at night. Their are 2 cars that stay on property taking up the best spots. There is only one spot for a car, we had to park the other car on an incline with gravel and spun the tires every time. Very scary. Property managers were less than helpful rectifying any of the issues. One of them was rude with me on the phone. For the premium price, I expected a premium rental.

The contemporary, Estate LaCroix, was built in the early 1970's by the well known architect, and artist Sacha Tebo' (1934-2004), this home is a pure masterpiece with ocean views from all bedrooms, and expansive views from main open air living area. This home has a "wow" factor like none other.

Jeff and I have hosted many for special occasions (weddings, anniversaries, birthdays) and just friends and family on vacation. Each time, they say the same thing - "what an amazing house." It truly has that "million dollar view" and is such a beautiful architectural masterpiece.
The Master Suite is separate from all other bedrooms, providing the primary guests a very private experience. Each bedroom has a beautiful water view. Two bedrooms share one bath upstairs, and the forth bedroom has privacy and it's own bathroom downstairs. This home provides a perfect escape for a large family or group of friends.
