- ESTILO DE PLAYA DE DISEÑADOR: BFF Beach Home es una casa recién construida y galardonada por el diseño ubicada directamente frente a la playa en North Shore. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We spent one week in the North Shore. It is a beautiful home with the perfect amount of space for 3 people in a spectacular location. The house is very clean, well stocked and beautifully designed. The only problem we encountered was in the back yard there was a deep sink hole at the sea wall which made getting to the beach precarious. In addition, there are no stairs to get to the beach so we had to jump down about 5 feet and then climb back up the wall. That should have been addressed and repaired prior to our arrival.

Thank you for staying with us, Waitkevich Family! We are so happy you enjoyed yourselves and hope you are able to stay with us again. We apologize for the backyard damage, which was caused by the recent storms. We are in talks with the owner and maintenance crew about the next step to remedy this situation, and will update our review response soon. UPDATE: The sinkhole has been filled in, it is now gone. We have learned that stairs are not possible here as the beach in front of house is a turtle nesting ground.

Reviewer Comments: The BFF Beach House was was truly inspired by the surrounding sea- the colors, art, furnishings, and even a lovely aroma all came together to create a peaceful and relaxing environment- exactly what we came to Hawaii to experience. Loved waking up to the view of the ocean and going to bed with the sound of the waves. As a bonus we even met turtle rescue volunteers who spent a few hours each evening watching over a loggerhead turtle nest close to the beach access by our entry. They were so kind to visit with my granddaughter about their work. Guess those little turtles have hatched and moved to the ocean by now! Our only concern while there was with drainage in the master shower. We never received action or communication by the management to resolve the issue. Overall, a truly lovely experience- all future guests are sure to have a pleasant time in this little footprint of heaven.

Gorgeous home in a gorgeous location!

This house was clean, well cared for, well stocked, comfortable, and quiet! We stayed here for 9 nights with our 5 year old daughter and had a wonderful time. The house is beautiful and so is the beach (there are rocks and coral to deal with, but that also makes it good for snorkeling on calm days). We did have some difficulty accessing the beach as there are currently no stairs down to the sand due to a recent storm, but we made it work. The house is in a quiet, residential neighborhood about 10 minutes from the town of Haleiwa where we enjoyed most of our dinners. We would definitely stay here again! Local eateries not to miss: Jenny’s Shrimp, Surf N Salsa, Bonsai Sushi, and Haleiwa Beach House! Also try the açaí bowls at Crispy Grindz. Aloha!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We absolutely loved this house. Its one of the best we've stayed in - everything was provided. Fabulous kitchen with great equipment. Beautiful bathrooms with abundant towels. There were books and games for all to enjoy. The quality was superb. Cleanliness was excellent. The view and outdoor areas were gorgeous. Some steps down to the beach would have been a bonus, we managed the jump but it wouldn't be ideal for less mobile guests. A neighbour also gave us advice that it would be safer for our children to swim further along the beach as the rips and current were very strong just where the house was located. If we return to Hawaii, we would definitely book this house again. Thank you for a wonderful stay.
