Amazing stay

The owners are so sweet. We had the best time at their cabin. It was near the lake with easy access. The cabin was big enough to have our kids and grandkids over for a cookout. Totally recommend this property.

Fabulous experience

It is a quite place tucked in the trees with lots of wildlife and large variety of birds. The afternoon spent on the lake was the best. Definitely will be back

This little house on the Lake is pretty much indescribable and one of the most enjoyable properties we have ever visited. The owners run a class act operation that is second to none.

This little house near lake Leon is perfect in every aspect. It is very comfortable, well equipped, and in the perfect location to kick back and relax. The owners showed great pride in providing us with a great experience during our short stay while in the area.

Our stay at the Hill Country View cabin on Lake Leon, outside of Eastland was amazing. The host/owners Steve and Vannessa were amazing. Vannessa met with us shortly after we arrived to answer any questions and give us a tour of the area. This Hill Country cabin does not have a lake view, but it is a short walk to the dock and party barn. We enjoy the “Forest Therapy,” bird watching and the very peaceful atmosphere setting on the porch. We were 15 minutes away from Eastland which had excellent restaurants if you do not care to cook in or cook on the grill. (They provided briquettes and lighter fluid.) There was sufficient hot water, the AC units worked fine and plenty of kitchen and bathroom necessities. We did not use the washer and dryer but it appeared available. Fishing and kayaking were optional from the common deck. We were pleasantly surprised there was not a detailed clean-up list before leaving. We washed our dishes, but they took care of cleanup.

Peaceful getaway

We enjoyed quiet and comfort while we read, took walks, watched birds at the feeder, worked puzzles, watched a couple of movies, and cooked both inside and on the grill. This has become a favorite getaway spot for us!

Peaceful Retreat

This was a perfect house and location for relaxing on the porch, looking out over the wooded ravine and watching the birds at the feeder. The house is well equipped for cooking and entertainment and is very spacious. Having access to the owners' other properties and amenities was nice as well. We enjoyed fishing in the pond and at the lake.

Great back porch view

Loved everything about the Hot Dog cabin. Very cozy and clean. The best part was coffee on the back porch with a view and watching tons of cardinals and squirrels. My girls also loved the friendly tuxedo kitten they visited the front porch. They called him Tuxie the hole time. Would recommend and we’ll be back

Great place-great hosts

We were there for a wedding that was taking place on the property. What a great destination place for an event! Several properties together (but also far enough apart) that could be used by the same group. The shared space of the Party Barn has a pool table, karaoke or can be a place to just sit and watch the sun set. Hosts were simply the best! They made sure everything was perfect!

Absolutely a great experience for me and my husband

I truly believe I can't say enough about this place my experience here was awesome everything I needed was right at reach didnt have to go out for anything! I came here knowing little about fishing and now I can honestly say I am a Fisher woman lol I'm already making plans for next month cant wait to come back also Steve was a great host.... A Little Piece of Paradise

Rustic charm with all of the conveniences of home! From the moment we walked in we knew we had found a perfect place to relax and rejuvenate! The back porch offered a cozy place to enjoy the wildlife, and the dock that was just a short walk around the corner offered serenity and a view of the sunset. It was an amazing place to spend time with my best friend, and we really enjoyed meeting Steve and Vanessa. They made us feel right at home, and we enjoyed visiting with them throughout our stay. If you are looking for a quiet, cozy place away I highly recommend this location! Thank you Steve and Vanessa for making this a place that we look forward to returning to!

Beautiful - Amazing

Looking for a place to get away and still be on the lake this is your place. It is relaxing, peaceful, beautiful, fun and the hosts are both amazing!! We were in communication the whole time one on one with them they waited up for us. We arrived late and still received perfect greetings and a tour. We know the area because of family living there but this is the first time we stayed with Vanessa & Steve! And we will never stay anywhere else if we can help it!! We will return many many more times. So much fun and still relaxing!!

I’m hooked!

This is the best vrbo property ever. I have stayed here at least 6 times. We had my 50th birthday party here at the first of August. Steve and Vanessa are the absolute best hosts ever. Anything we need , they are right on top of it. They treat us like family. They are always around if you need anything, but they also give you your privacy. There is plenty of room. We had a total of 10 people and we were all comfortable. We rented the big house for all the adults and rented the smaller house for our teenage kids. The fishing there is great! I always go home with lots of fish. They pretty much have their own little private cove and a nice big dock to fish from. I can anywhere in Texas, but I always keep going back to Allure.

Quiet retreat

This was the perfect place for resting and relaxing. It was so charming. We enjoyed watching all the birds at the feeder from the back porch. There were so many different kinds, it was just a tranquil weekend. Dale was very kind he came to check in on us to make sure we had everything we needed. I would recommend to anyone who's looking to get away and find some peace and quiet.

Came for the solitude, will be back for the experience!

What can I say? If you are looking for a beautiful, quiet place to relax with your family, this is the place. If you are looking for a girlfriends' weekend getaway, cozy and secluded, with nearby wineries included, this is the place. If you are looking for a venue to host a big family reunion and need lots of beds, bathrooms and entertainment, this is the place, too! Like fishing, karaoke, shooting pool, reading a book and watching amazing sunsets, too? This is the place. Do you think you've met amazing hosts before? Well, hang on. Have you met Steve and Vanessa, yet? They are amazing. They went above and beyond to make sure that we were comfortable, had everything we needed before and during stay, and made sure our girls were also involved. We surely hope to be back!
