The Twins at Sunset Beach # 112 Dot (Anteriormente The Gallagher Cottages)

¡Este listado es para 1 (# 112 punto) de las 2 cabañas gemelas encantadoras que están bajo nueva propiedad! Se sientan en una propiedad privada con 55 pies de frente al lago de arena con un muelle privado y anclas para botes. Las cabañas de 2 dormitorios y 1 baños se han renovado de arriba a abajo con pisos nuevos instalados en todas partes. Dot tiene 2 habitaciones Queen (más un sofá cama Queen en la sala de estar). Todos los muebles nuevos en su lugar, incluyendo ropa de cama, ropa de cama, vajilla, cubiertos, etc. Se suministran productos de papel. Solo necesitarás traer tus toallas de playa. Toda la iluminación nueva (ventiladores de techo en todas las habitaciones) - Wifi - TV de pantalla plana con cable (durante la temporada principal) 2 fogatas e increíbles vistas del atardecer.

No es necesario perder tiempo en el lanzamiento del barco a diario. En su lugar, salga a nuestro muelle privado y vaya y venga como quiera. Lago de fondo arenoso con una caída de profundidad muy gradual, lo que lo hace ideal para niños y adultos por igual. Disfruta de uno de los lagos y puestas de sol más hermosos que jamás hayas visto.

Cada cabaña cuenta con una pequeña parrilla, algunas sillas y un fogón compartido detrás de las cabañas y otra fogata junto al lago. Las cabañas son para no fumadores.

Los Mellizos están en el lado noreste del lago Higgins (Sunset Side), ubicado a unas 5 millas de Roscommon y 3 millas de la I-75, salida 244. Las cabañas dan al final de la carretera, pero está a solo un paseo muy corto por el terreno semi boscoso del lago hasta nuestra playa privada.

Del 23 de junio hasta finales de agosto. Los alquileres son semanales sólo sáb.-Sab. Todas las demás fechas son de 3 días mínimo. Gracias por su interés en nuestras casas de campo. Esperamos verte.

Charming cabin, wonderful stay!

Wonderful Stay at the Twins

We arrived early and had property had no problem accommodating us throughout our stay. The moorings out front were a big help with the pontoon boat we were able to rent and the location was quiet and tranquil. We really enjoyed our stay.

Wonderful, peaceful time!

As most vacations are, the time spent at The Twins (Dot) was too short! We had a very cozy, quiet time in the woods and the very quaint lakefront area. We had some windy weather and weren't able to have a bonfire each night, but the final night afforded us a very nice multiple hour bonfire making s'mores and relaxing. The cabin was very clean and with many more general-purpose items (towels, plates, pots/pans/etc.) that allowed us to be very comfortable in a new rental. We wouldn't hesitate to return any time of the year, and we would love to check out the Higgins Lake area in the summertime! Thank you for having us!

Little paradise

Is a wonderful place and all what you need for enjoy your family and friends. The place is in a top condition and all what you need is there. Also the little beach is clean and the sunset is just perfect to watch.

Higgins Lake Stay

We had a great time during our visit to Higgins lake. The cottages were comfortable and worked out well for our young family. The water in the beach area was shallow, sandy bottom, and crystal clear. The owner was very friendly and had good communication. We had a great stay.

Comfy, clean little cabin

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here at Dot! Cabin is super clean and well equipped. Wish weather had cooperated, but hey it’s Michigan. Nice touches such as linens and paper products, coffee, filters and spices. Good quality cookware should u need it. Quiet neighborhood but I was here during the week after Labor Day. Thanks for the stay!

Perfect for our family.

Everything was as advertised. Booked both cabins so had the whole place to ourselves. Very clean, and really nicely decorated so you didn't really feel like you were in a hundred year old cabin. Had all the basic amenities in the kitchen you would need, and plenty of towels. The lake is just a short walk away, spent a lot of time down by the beach having a cocktail or two. The boat mooring was very close and the dock was plenty long enough to load all the people and gear on. Spent every night around the fire, kinda felt like camping!! Hosts were very accessible. Can't wait to stay again!

Has everything you need!

We stayed here for a week with friends in the other cottage. It is a perfect set up for two families vacationing together. The property is spacious with plenty of room to park boat trailers. The beach area is clean and it gives plenty of room for fires and just hanging out. We have no complaints and would recommend it to friends. Definitely keeping it in mind for the future!

Adorable cottage; beautiful sunsets

The cottage was adorable. It was very clean, charming and fully equipped with all necessary items. The beds were very comfortable. The ceiling fans were very quiet, great for sleeping. You can tell the owners paid special attention to the decorations to reflect the time period of the cottage, but still modern. Sitting on the dock watching the sunsets was heavenly. Michelle is very helpful and attentive. We plan on returning in the near future! I would recommend this to anyone looking to enjoy a quaint cottage, quiet neighborhood, beautiful location with the dock/beach a few feet away. Just beware the deer in the area like to look inside the cottage in the early morning hours.

Perfect location and cottage!

Everything was great! Cabin was well stocked and cute as can be! Michelle was so accommodating and made us feel right at home! We felt like we were right on the lake with a short path access! Cute Little Gem

Cutest little cottage, my family of 5 truly enjoyed our time. Everything was very clean and had all the essentials needed. Michelle was very responsive to any questions and accommodating. We rented in the winter time and enjoyed the Higgins Winter fest that they had going on there. We look forward to renting again and enjoying the place in the summertime. The Gorney Family

Cute updated cottage near Higgins Lake

Cottage is very cute and quiet, accommodating and clean. Owners are very nice and responsive to questions. I was here for business travel and it was nice to not be sharing space in a hotel or B & B, and the price is comparable. I enjoy cooking for myself so having full access to kitchen facilities was perfect. Cabinets are well stocked with everything you might need.

Great little cabin in a nice quite setting. Easy access to the lake.

We had a great time at the cabin. We enjoyed the lake. It was great for our kids. The shallow water allowed them to play safely. We also enjoyed the state parks in the area. Over all the cabin and the lake were great.

Fantastic, convenient cottage on Higgins Lake

My family of 4 stayed here for a week and could not have been happier! The cottage is very close to the lake shore, my kids could go back and forth freely to the water and dock without my close supervision. The kitchen had everything that we needed. I cooked all week like we were at home with no problem. The whole place was clean and comfortable, bathroom has a full shower, we built a fire one night down at the beach and one night up behind the cottage, we enjoyed the picnic table and the fire pit. The air conditioner was necessary for a few of the hot days and cooled the cottage off quickly and the ceiling fans in both bedrooms were nice too. If we weren't so far away (Southeastern PA) we would consider making this an annual summer vacation place!

Higgins Lake is beautiful and within 2 hours of our home (Metro Detroit). We felt it was the perfect distance to travel for an up north property. We came across these 2 Cottages and immediately felt attached. The fact that they came with a lakefront lot allowing us to have our own private beach, dock and boat mooring rights, sealed the deal.

The cottages are located on the northeast side of Higgins Lake, providing some of the most spectacular sunsets imaginable. These Twins have a very long family history with the land dating back almost 100 years. They were named after the original owner’s two daughters (Dot #112 & Ruth #114).
