Not family friendly.

The place was overall as pictured. But we were very disappointed they didn’t have a cot as nowadays is pretty standard service in ANY rental. People obviously does not travel with a pack and play, and is not something too much to ask. When we requested the owner and the property manager just appointed us to a baby and beach rental so we can rent a pack and play. So add that fee as an extra on top of what you’ve already payed for. Another issue was the kitchen, the cabinets were so dirty (with hairs, food debris, and oil everywhere) that we spend a couple of hours cleaning to keep the kitchen running for our week stay. So we don’t think is a property we book again.

A beautiful beach stay - needs some TLC

The condo itself is beautifully appointed and clean. You have a great view of the waterfront and beach. It is a beautiful and comfortable condo. The building itself (and property) however, appear aged and in disrepair. The tennis courts are completely closed and unusable. Both access points to the beachfront are broken down and blocked off completely. The parking structure for us was crumbling with concrete falling from the ceiling. So the building and property need some attention and repair.

Beautiful condo with great ocean views

The condo is absolutely beautiful. The bathrooms have been updated spectacularly for a rental condo. The floorplan is such that the kitchen, living and dining rooms all have great views of the ocean. Wraparound porch is fantastic. One note: if you want to play tennis this is not the place. The tennis court is in bad shape and due to be torn down (according to a neighbor we talked to.

Great location, beautiful view

You can't beat the ocean view from this condo. It was decorated very nicely and the rooms and bathrooms were very clean. The beds were also comfortable. The only thing that I would suggest is to replace older kitchen appliances and some of the cookware. Overall, we had a great stay here over Christmas.

Great beach vacay

All five of us enjoyed our beach vacay at The Ocean property. Just as advertised with one exception, the tennis court was in shambles. The listing showed tennis as an amenity and this was not the case. I would suggest explaining that in the listing for those people who want to play tennis during their stay. Other than that, it was a beautiful condo and we would book this again when returning to New Smyrna Beach.

Great views/location but building needs updates.

End unit is spacious with amazing views from the corner balcony. .Great, quiet location but property needs updating. Keys need to be jiggled in locks before turning, update to keypads. Fence surrounding tennis courts has collapsed, and the retaining wall at the front of the building is stained and needs to be cleaned/painted to give a nice first impression of the building.

Family time

Really enjoyed everything about this area of beach! Condo was clean; the view was spectacular - floor to ceiling windows! A couple minor inconveniences: a couple of windows need replacing as the double panes have moisture between panes, and only only one BR had a TV, but still have give this condo 5 stars! One other note: this far south, the beach narrows and high tide may come up to your umbrellas, but no big deal!

Not quite what we expected

The view was spectacular but the condo was a bit worn (old toaster, microwave, refrigerator.) Couch was very uncomfortable and dirty. No instructions for tv or any recommendations for restaurants etc. A bit overpriced for what you get.

Great condo & wonderful beach

We had an amazing time at the condo. The kitchen is very well stocked, there are beach towels & beach chairs. The beach view is amazing, we enjoyed sitting on the porch. The beach is beautiful and we enjoyed walking over to the intercoastal to watch the dolphins.

Beautiful Condo and isolated location

The condo was beautiful and the views are amazing. The elevator was cumbersome but there was signage that is was being modernized this week. The location is very quiet but it is several miles from most of the retail areas and restaurants. JBs is just down the street which is nice, but for a prolonged stay plan on 10-15 minute drive to most places. We commuted to Sanford for a sports tournament and it was an easy drive with relatively quick access to I95 and I4. We would definitely stay there again.

Fun get away

The property was very nice & big. Wraparound balcony was perfect for ocean viewing. Patio furniture looked new & was very comfortable. The condo is nicely decorated & has floor to ceiling windows & has fantastic views of the ocean all around. Condo is clean & looks like they are in the process of replacing shower doors & tubs in two of the bathrooms with only the master bath left to do. The kitchen is very well stocked with everything you would need for an extended stay. New dishes & silverware. We didn't use the pool but it is beautiful & a good size & well kept. We enjoyed our three days there & would gladly rent the condo again.

Nice but needs some repairs

Overall the property was very nice with stunning views. The keys to all the many locks however need repairing. It was a hassle each time to go through the 5 gates to access pool and property. Could use some cleaning supplies so guest can clean themselves. Also back sliding door needs repair it is way too hard to open and can easily be repaired to opened easy and smooth. But overall it was very nice if rates were lower we would stay again but a bit pricey for what it is.

Made sure you read the rental agreement so you know what you have to supply.

They wanted the dishes clean before checkout which is fine but did not furnish dish detergent. Also wanted us to start a load of towels but again no detergent we had to supply. First condo I have rented where the supplies in the kitchen were minimum. No containers for left overs.

Construction Noise

The condo was nice, good cold air, beautiful views. Unfortunately the unit above was remodeling so we didn’t get to sleep in like you’d expect. Replied to automated welcome email advising the noise with no response. Friday morning I finally had enough and called the property manager, had to leave a message with the after hours service. Never received a return call, called back later in the day and told them how disappointed I was with the whole situation. Again, condo was nice. Hopefully others won’t have to deal with the same issues.
