Hi Lisa, How are you? Thank you for taking the time to review your stay at 108 Wellington. It is a great house and you can not beat the location. Most owners do not supply beach chairs as these items as they tend disappear or get ruined. I know you traveled a long way and that would be a plus to have beach items already there. Only a few properties provide linens in the summer. The majority of them do not supply them. This property does in the summer months only as you noticed. I do hope to host you in the future. Dear Mark, In reviewing our communication, I must say that I was dumbfounded by your review. As your stay coincided with the New Year's holiday, you were given the emergency/after hours phone number for your stay. You stated that you telephoned the emergency paging system. I checked with the pager company; they only received one phone call for our company and the caller, (which I presume was you,) hung up prior to speaking with anyone. Unfortunately, this made it impossible for our firm to know there was an issue taking place at one of our properties. As your agent, I also was on call over the holiday and I would have gladly come down and helped you out with the elevator, shower appatatus or anything else you needed. The owner has a service contract with the elevator company and we would have sent them to repair it if needed. In regard to the showers, I have subsequently been in contact with the property maintenance person and she let me know that she did walk you through the shower operation at the beginning of your stay. Regarding the linens, it is stated in your lease and I re-iterated to you verbally that the home does NOT supply linens in the off-season. Also stated in your lease, the home does not supply paper or personal hygiene products, although property maintenance did leave 1 toilet tissue "starter" roll in each bathroom. We also discussed these items prior to booking as well. Our office re-opened on January 2nd, which is the day that you checked out. Nevertheless, the first that my office heard of the issues was in this online review. Our goal is to make sure that our guests enjoy their stay and I wished that we had been alerted so we could have rectified any issue immediately. We have many guests that come back to this lovely property year after year, but I'm sorry that you did not enjoy your time here. Sincerely, Kim Rebman Rental Agent
