2 millas del centro de Alejandría bares, restaurantes y tiendas. Hermosa casa recién decorada en el hermoso lago Darling. La casa está a una milla al otro lado del agua del Arrowwood Resort and Waterpark, que cuenta con un restaurante, un bar frente al mar, un spa, un puerto deportivo y un centro de conferencias. Sólo un par de millas por agua desde Bugaboo y Zorbas. Traiga su bote y use nuestro elevador y muelle, nade en la playa de arena dura, relájese en la cubierta frente al lago ... Los fuegos artificiales del 4 de julio están justo al lado del muelle, puede verlos desde la cocina, una de las cubiertas o ¡el puerto!

¡Somos una de las pocas casas frente al lago VRBO en un lago Premier Chain of Lakes que está dentro del rango de entrega de pizza!

WiFi gratuito (sistema WiFi en todo el hogar, sin zonas muertas). Annual Alexandria Family Vacation

Had a lovely time with our children and grandchildren. We love the chain of lakes that we have been coming to for the past 36 years. Our family has grown so we need more space. George's house is ideal for us. It has a nice boat lift. The location is perfect also to town, or across the lake to Arrowwood. Thanks for a great week!

Beautiful, perfect place to spend time with family

This home is nothing short of perfect. Wonderful family spaces, wonderful space for the teens to "disappear". Bedrooms are spectacular, the kitchen is wonderful. We played many games of Farkel and Yatzee, did two 1000 piece puzzles, and spent many hours on the lake, the winery, and the minigolf course. A much needed respite for our family, and we couldn't ask for a better place to be. Thank you soo much.

Fabulous house

The home met all of our needs, two fantastic living rooms and large bedrooms with storage. The kitchen was well stocked with extra items (spices, coffee filters, great cutlery, and also had a crockpot.) there was plenty of firewood. The lower deck is so nice for gathering and private with fantastic lights. Only downside was the decks only had six chairs but we had two bag chairs packed and there also isn’t central air (window unit in the living room.) Fantastic space and we will definitely be back!!! So close to Carlos Creek (we attended a cheese pairing) and we loved the stairs for morning workouts! Thank you, George!!

Beautiful home, perfect for our family

This home was perfect for our group of 9. The space was great, with separate areas for the teena, the young adults and the older folks. The lake was gorgeous and perfect for skiing, fishing (I caught my first northern And one of our party caught a walleye) and boating. The teens went to a nearby beach and enjoyed being "alone". Shopping was convenient and fun. Nice neighbors and great lawn. The only thing I would change is some tieoffs for the boats, to helpbuabold folks get out of the boats and kayaks we brought. I took a spill getting out of the kayak but the water was warm and clean and I didn't mind. Lol. Thank you George. It was a lovely time!

We enjoyed our girls weekends! Great views and amenities-very close to Zorbazs and Carlos Creek Winery! Had an awesome time wading in the water and hanging out on the deck! Awesome spot to gather and relax for a weekend!

Nice 5 bedrooms! Kitchen well stocked with dishes plus!

The lily pad a lot of fun for our grandkids. We were able to easily cook our meals there. To note if unable to do stairs could not access the dock. Beautiful view. Enjoyed the pair of loons we saw often.

Everything You Need

George outfitted his home with all the cooking equipment you could want, games galore, a lily pad, new Traeger grill and a sound system equivalent to a movie theater. Restaurants, entertainment park and winery near by. What more could you ask for?!

Beautiful views of Lake Darling

We had a very nice stay. The house works so well with the layout of space, the items provided, the nearness to Alexandria’s downtown and perfect Fall colors. We enjoyed the fire pit and the fireplace, put together puzzles, went for walks and read books. Plenty of hot water for showers. Well stocked kitchen. Very good host, taking care to check on whether we needed anything.

Fall Fishing

My husband, our young adult boys, and a few of their friends joined us for a few days of fishing. The home was perfect for our group: size, bedrooms, dock area, backyard with fire pit - we cooked all meals at the home. Neighbors were friendly and helped us find some walleyes. My folks lived on Lake Darling for 20 years - was great to be back and spent some time with friends and family in such a great home. Thank you, George!

Home away from home, and then some

My family and I had such a wonderful time here! The weather cooperated for the most part, and even when the rain came we were content on staying in and playing games and watching movies. Everywhere you would like to visit in Alexandria was literally within a minutes drive. Our host George was a very nice guy and responded quickly when we had questions. The home was well stocked with necessities, which was so nice. The lake was perfect for playing safely by the dock for the kids! Fishing was fun as well. Bluegill and Bass were easy to catch and kept everyone entertained. I hope to visit again!!

Perfect family vacation spot

Our family of 9 had a wonderful time. Lake shore was shallower than last year but we managed just fine. House was beautiful, comfortable, well organized and outfitted. We especially loved having three separate areas for relaxing. Teens in basement, young adults in tv area, and older folks in living room, and also lots of together time at the huge table. Mini golf and go karts at Casey's, shopping downtown and fishing.... So much fun! Had the pleasure of meeting the owner. George is super nice and so responsive to any questions or concerns. Thank you soooo much, George. We loved every minute of our time, even the rainy day 1000 piece puzzle day. :)

Lovely home.

Worked well for our 8 adults and 3 kids. Lake is shallow so you would need to go out a long way to actually swim. Kids enjoyed the lily pad!

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

The whole house flows beautifully, three separate living areas where it seems folks congregate based on age! Game room with poker table and huge TV/game system downstairs for the youths; calm sunroom with comfortable furniture/lighting/fireplace upstairs for the adults with extra experience and then the main living area bordered by the kitchen/dining room and deck, equipped with an ear-splittingly excellent sound system/TV! Oh yeah, I suppose the Chain of Lakes is pretty dang unique as well. Two friends started from my dock a few years ago and canoed to New Orleans.
