Hermosa casa de 6 dormitorios en el agua

Esta hermosa casa de campo de seis habitaciones se encuentra en Westminster Park, en la isla Wellesley, en las Mil Islas. Como una de las islas más grandes, la isla de Wellesley es accesible en coche.

La casa está en un acre, tiene seis habitaciones, dos baños completos, dos salas de estar grandes y un enorme porche (de unos 50 pies de largo), que también envuelve el costado de la casa. La casa da al agua y se encuentra frente al castillo de Boldt (ver foto). Hay una pequeña playa en frente de la casa, una casa de botes y un muelle. La propiedad está en una bahía y, por lo tanto, es ideal para nadar, pescar y pasear en bote. Alexandria Bay está al otro lado del castillo de Boldt y es un viaje fácil (cinco a diez minutos en barco o 15-20 minutos en coche).

La cocina y un baño se han mejorado significativamente recientemente. Toda la casa también ha sido reconectada para mayor seguridad y conveniencia.

La casa tiene seis habitaciones: una habitación tiene una reina, una tiene una cama matrimonial, una tiene un rey (que podría dividirse en dos individuales), dos habitaciones tienen dos camas individuales cada una; y una habitación tiene tres camas individuales. A la vuelta de la esquina del porche de 50 pies de largo hay otra cama de tamaño completo.

La casa también está a aproximadamente una milla del TI Country Club, un hermoso club con 36 hoyos de gran golf, un restaurante, una piscina, canchas de tenis y una reputación por la hospitalidad de 1000 islas que se remonta a más de cien años.

What a beautiful family home/camp. We appreciated the easy access to the River… the spaciousness of the house…how clean and organized it was… everything you could want or need is provided by the host! We made so many wonderful memories! This was a family trip (3 generations) which we will forever cherish! We would love to return next year.

What a wonderful vintage St. Lawrence River summer house ! The setting was magnificent, the dock very easy to tie up to, the rooms were spacious and the kitchen was generously equipped. My husband and I, our adult kids and teenage grandkids all loved it. We hope to return next year.

So many Pros: Great location! Loved the area. First time my dog could easily access the river from all the previous places we stayed. First time I’ve ever seen the Milky Way & it was so beautiful. Amazing porch with view of the river. We even took naps on the outside bed. Bring your own folding chairs as there is a great dock to sit on & watch the sun rise. Very relaxing!

Great Vacation

This property is exactly what is expected for a 1000 island vacation. The older home feel but with everything you need on a perfect property right on the river. The home owner is very nice and easy to work with. This was our 2nd time at this property and we will be back

Family vacation

It is a nice old island house. It is rustic but well equiped. As many old Island homes, it is dark wood interior that is cool but very dark. The location is great and convienent to TI Club and Alex Bay. The furniture is older and in in rough shape, especially the chairs. It didn't affect our stay as everyone really enjoyed the place.

Great time

Accommodations are as advertised. Old classic lake house furnished with classic furniture from the era that it was built. Very retro but still comfortable. Large screened porch was our favorite. Awesome views.

Family vacation

The property provided easy access to the river for boating, kayaking, and fishing. Sitting in the large screened in porch, you could enjoy the majestic view of the river, little islands and Boldt Castle. It was dog friendly so we were able to bring the family pets. The owner was very responsive to our needs and responded quickly to our communications.

Great house, great time!

The house was perfect for our group. There were 13 of us and we had a great time being together. The house is also big enough that you just didn't feel like you were on top of each other. The porch and the dock were the best spots for early morning and late night tranquility. Location is perfect, just a short drive or a quick boat ride to A Bay. Would highly recommend!

Beautiful Perfect Rental Experience

I can't put into words what a pleasure it was to stay in this classic St. Lawrence home. Staying here felt like going back in time. The screened in front porch was a gem, there was ample boat docking, plenty of parking, wonderful owners, nice neighbors, beautiful river/castle/shipping lane views, just a few minute boat ride to the Alexandria Bay public dock. The only advice I would give to future renters is to bring enough clothes for the week as the washer and dryer are for emergency use only.

Summer Vacation at its Best

The property is located with a fantastic view of the Bolt Castle and waterways. Day or night it is very relaxing and enjoyable to watch the activities. The distant sounds of the evening dinner cruise boats and horns of large freighters really left our family with a very fond feeling. We will be back next year if there is an opening

Perfect getaway

The house and property were great! Location was perfect. Spent mornings watching sunrise and activity on the river, boating in the afternoons and then either a short drive to the bay for dinner or we all gathered around the table and just enjoyed our time together. The house was idyllic and the owner quick to respond. 5 stars, Would definitely recommend for a large group.

Wonderful week!

We had a wonderful time! We loved the rustic feel of the camp and had the week of a lifetime! The views of the St. Lawrence River and Boldt Castle were amazing. We spent beautiful nights on the wonderful dock watching the moon rise on the river. Can’t wait to return next summer!

Family get-away

This home is clean, spacious, in a park-like setting with a very large screened-in, wrap-around porch and plenty of parking. It comes with an average sized dock, with easy in/out access for your boat. The kitchen is workable but a bit small. Plenty of bedroom options. Most of your time will be spent on the porch if the weather allows. One challenge is no steps down to the dock, just a few well-beaten foot paths. We would recommend this home for your next family reunion:)

Location is perfect — room for everyone

This property has a perfect location!! The screened porch is magnificent—spent quite some time there watching the water Kitchen is well stocked. Although this is an older home and needs a little work in some places—it was perfect for us and Randy couldn’t have been more accommodating. Thank you for allowing us to stay the week during this pandemic. It was just what we all needed!! Stay well everyone!😀

Wonderful place for large groups and families

What a lovely location-with views of Boldt Castle and its Boat House. The house is vast and spacious, with plenty of bedrooms for all. The massive dining table easily fit our group of 11. My favorite part is the screened porch, where the cool breezes and lack of bugs gave us a wonderful place to spend our evenings. We even slept in the bed on this porch a few nights. The kitchen is well-stocked and there is a good grill and oven. Plenty of room to spread out as a group or gather. Surrounding area is great for walks, biking or jogging and the island has so much to offer. The owner is easily accessible as well. Highly recommended!

1000 Islands Fishing Trip 2020

We had an excellent time here. It was everything we needed. We were 6 adults and one 17 year old that came to fish the St. Lawrence for a week. Our annual guys fishing trip and my sons first trip. The house and the fishing were both excellent. We will definitely stay here again, so much history in the area as well. Just a great time at a great place.

Wellesley Island

Setting was lovely. House big and roomy. While it was neat the baseboards and windows were filthy. Every corner and baseboard covered with dirt. The kitchen counters, sinks and showers were clean. We loved the big screen porch with plenty of seating. The views were terrific. If we go again I would request a thorough cleaning first. My dealing with the owner was great. He was very accommodating.

Fantastic River House

This is a fantastic, spacious river house. The location is great -- near Boldt Castle and the Boathouse. If you are not all that familiar with the 1,000 islands you don't have to worry about getting lost. Just find the castle and you can see your vacation home. The home itself is wonderful -- tall ceilings, a cook's kitchen, large bedrooms, and an oversized dining room table so your group can enjoy meals together. The owner (Randy) and local manager (Autumn) are accessible and 100% helpful. And for us, the highlight was spending evenings on the oversized screened in porch. The views, size, and comfort were amazing.

Great house and location

We had a great family vacation at the property with 6 adults and 6 teenagers ages between 16 and 13. Beautiful views of the castle and the big ships from the unbelieveable screened in porch and the dock. Even with the high water, we had 2 inches of dry dock where we were able to rig some cushions to protect both the dock and boat from the high water. The property manager was awesome in showing us around and Randy the owner was great at keeping in touch with us throughout the process. Much appreciated and enjoy the rest of your summer.

Great Home

Great house across the way from Alexandria Bay. Very comfortable with a great screened in porch. Would like it better with some upgrades to the bathrooms. Claw foot tub/shower in main bath was clean but shower needs to be updated it's a big step in and out for older people..also maybe some more lighting in the kitchen. Otherwise a great rental for a large family or group. Brand new dock with room for three boats...Wonderful views of ABAY and Boldt castle. Would rent again!

My grandparents bought this house 49 years ago. As a child, my cousins and I lived here all summer. During the days, we caught fish, frogs, snakes, and insects. We made forts in the woods and skied in our bay and beyond. We swam and boated daily. In the cool months, we sat by the fire roasting marshmallows as one Aunt played her guitar. We went to the movies in the tabernacle at TI Park, visited the local library and spent hours laughing on our extra large screened in porch overlooking the River and Boldt Castle. When I "grew up", I lived in Washington, D.C. and couldn't spend significant time there. So for about 10 years, I served on the Board of Save The River, which kept me connected to the River throughout the year.

When my grandparents died, the house was left to my father and his siblings. A few years later, my husband and I also became partial owners, and I have since managed it for our extended family. We are lucky to enjoy it with our children, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and second cousins a couple weeks each year now. This is my favorite place on earth – and we are happy to share it with you.
