Ubicado en el bosque de una carretera rural tranquila, esta casa ofrece el equilibrio perfecto de encanto rústico y acabados modernos. Ubicada en un lote grande SIN NINGUNOS VECINOS, esta casa cuenta con una cocina espaciosa y moderna con isla y una sala de estar grande y abierta con estufa de leña, una suite principal de lujo en el nivel principal y 2 dormitorios adicionales en el desván. Sumérjase en la bañera de hidromasaje o pase el rato por el hoyo de fuego del patio trasero. A poca distancia del lago Sand Run y del Refugio de Vida Silvestre del Valle de Canaán.

Our all-too-brief (4 nights) stay in this beautiful cabin was pure magic. Clean and comfortable, it met our every need and want. While the big comfy bed, fully-stocked kitchen, fireplace and hot tube were all wonderful, the best is the total privacy. It's so hard to find, and this cabin delivers. Coming back to a fire and hot tub after hiking was sheer heaven. My only beef is the toilet seat in the half-bath is wobbly.I can live with that.We're all missing 'our' cabin today. What a magical trip.

Was extremely peaceful everything we needed was there you can tell whoever owns this is very thoughtful . Books to read guitar to play there was even a wait to lift. Good use of outdoor spaces. Hot tub was definitely a plus.

We had a great stay! Check-in at Canaan Realty was super easy, and the staff was friendly and helpful. Jenni’s property was in excellent shape—very clean, well-kept, and fully stocked with everything we could possibly need. You can tell it’s really well cared for. We’ll definitely be booking Jenni’s place again next time we’re in the area!

Nice secluded cabin

Secluded nice property

Secluded nice property. Old time feeling cabin. Wood stove needs better seal and some tlc and as expected in the woods had mice but if put stuff in totes they stay out of stuff. Overall enjoyable trip but did need a good deep cleaning done.

Girls Weekend Getaway

It was a cute little cabin, but a bit dirty. There were cobwebs in almost every corner of every room, especially around curtain rods. the hot tub jets were poor. The kitchen was well equipt with everything you would need. The front porch reeked of cat urine and well as the one upstairs bedroom. Great location with beautiful views.

Fall weekend get away

Check in very smooth. Nina in the office sooo nice and helpful. Cabin in remote wooded area- nice to have guarded gatehouse. Kitchen stocked very well with nice newer appliances Hot tub was fabulous., no problem with temperature. TVs worked ok for us. Negatives: cabin was surface clean only; place had cobwebs on all shelf and ceiling corners, bugs in window sills, some light bulbs burned out, water spots/drips on mirrors and shower doors. Wish there was a trail down to the lake across the street. Lots of wildlife to see. Overall cabin was very roomy, warm in the cold weather, and after we dusted and swept a bit, very comfortable. So we give the place 3 out of 5

Perfect for family get-together

The cabin was perfect for us. Very clean, the hot tub was wonderful and the kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. Loved the privacy and quiet. Beautifully decorated in a simple, cozy way that was very homey. Beds VERY comfortable. We loved every minute of our stay.

Cleanliness was a big issue

When we arrived at the cabin, The front porch was dirty and covered in cobwebs and mouse droppings. It did not look appealing nor did we use it, it was too dirty. When we went inside the floors had not been swept. The downstairs bathroom counter was filthy, it had not been wiped down nor had the shower been cleaned. As I’ve noticed on other reviews, cob webs were definitely prominent throughout the house. A deep cleaning of the property occasionally would be beneficial or a new more thorough cleaning service. It would have been nice to have some sort of watercraft available to be able to access the lake other than from the bank and small dock. Fishing was OK but wasn’t an abundance of fish caught. The hot tub was a disappointment, jets did not work well. Mouse droppings were on the cover and on steps to get in the hot tub. If I would have seen all the reviews before booking, I would of chose another location. Few areas were nice to see but probably won’t return.

Peaceful and quiet get away

Nice quiet and secluded cabin, very nicely decorated and had a warm welcoming feeling to it. There were some cob webs in the corners of the ceilings and walls, which isn't a huge deal with it being a cabin and all but it was noticeable. The hot tub was nice, although the jets didn't seem to work very good. The lakes and trails that were available to us through canaan reality were very nice as well. All in all it was pleasant experience and thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Relaxing get-away with beautiful views

We really enjoyed this cabin. Everything was as described. We enjoyed the ponds for fishing and also the kayaking on Mirror Lake. This is a beautiful area and we would stay here again. We have no complaints with renting this property.

Almost Heaven

This gated community is stunning. A quiet retreat secluded back in the mountains. The activities to do are endless. The scenery is breath taking! Near by many well known trails that WV had to offer. Ski resort is minutes from this home. I can’t wait to visit again! House has everything you need as far as kitchen appliciances. Clean, cozy, quiet

This was our second time staying at this cabin and again it did not disappoint! It is in a nice, quiet location but close to so much to do. The cabin has everything you will need and more. We will definitely be back for a third stay!

Perfect place to welcome the fall

The cabin was clean and the kitchen well stocked. We appreciated the labeled drawers and shelves in the kitchen as you did not have to remember were everything had to go. Ample closet space throughout the house. A couple of minor issues we had to figure out: no bread knife and water being a bit too soft. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay in the cabin.
