Humilde dos habitaciones, un baño con una cocina completa. Al otro lado de la calle de la playa conocida como "Puka Pants", ubicada en el lado oeste de O'ahu. Ambas habitaciones tienen sus propias puertas correderas que dan acceso a un gran balcón envolvente de 3 lados. Las barandas están paneladas para una mayor privacidad, perfecta para broncearse. Durante la noche te relajas con el ritmo del océano y el tráfico. jajaja ... Disfrute de una bebida viendo el amanecer / atardecer. Esta escapada romántica te está esperando ... Aloha we C U soon!

Exploring Oahu

We had a great stay! It is in a good location to be away from the business of Honolulu. Sam was a wonderful host and being greeted by Honey was an added bonus. San was great to give us advice about Oahu. There is some road noise that earplugs took care of. Thank you Sam!

Sam was great!

We enjoyed the inside of the condo. The balconies were very nicely decorated as well, and Sam was a great host! The biggest drawback was the traffic noise. It never seemed to stop. Bring ear plugs if renting here. After I started using mine, I was able to sleep.

Sam war ein super Gastgeber (Freund). Die Wohnung ist sehr geräumig mit einem Riesen Balkon. Alles ist da ,was man braucht um einen tollen Urlaub zu genießen. Es ist etwas laut an der Hauptstraße aber man gewöhnt sich dran. Vielen Dank Sam

18th Birthday Vacation

Sam was a wonderful host! The house is about 40 minutes from downtown Honolulu. Right across from the beach with mountain and ocean views. We walked across the street every morning have coffee on the beach. This is a very local feeling neighborhood. There’s a Longs Drugs and Sac-n-Save close by. That being said you will hear the neighborhood dogs and chickens. The Farmington highway is right in front of the house and it can be noisy on the deck. There is air conditioning and all the comforts of home at Sams. Also a boogie board, snorkeling gear, towels and sunscreen. We had a wonderful time and felt right at home. Sam is a local to his core and knows all there is to know about where to go and what to see. We would absolutely stay again!

Fun in the sun

We enjoyed staying here for our girl’s trip. It was clean and very comfortable. It was nice to have a cooler, chairs, umbrella and beach towels to use. Sam was an awesome host. He was so kind and made sure we had everything we needed and offered ideas of things to do. Loved being across from the beach!

Beautiful

The pictures online do not do this home justice. It’s got a view of the mountain range one one side and the ocean on the other. The reviews on this home were spot on. It is on a loud corner but it didn’t bother us because we were on vacation out exploring. Sam has the sweetest dog. If we go back to Oahu we’ll definitely be staying at Sam’s again.

The real Hawaii in a great home

First I will say you should read all of Sam’s reviews for this property so you can get a good feeling of what this property is all about and where it is located. Sam the host is a wonderful caring man. We enjoyed his knowledge, warm welcome, and of course his lovely dog “honey girl” . The property is amazing that Sam has tried very hard to make it a great place to stay . The property is in where locals live and with that comes local sounds, traffic, and anything else that comes with living like the locals do. This is not some beach front property with quiet beach noise. However it is a great clean home with 2 separate bedrooms , air conditioning , single bathroom , full kitchen with everything you need, ceiling fans in each room, tv’s in each room A beautiful wrap around deck that is decorated with lights and atmosphere when the sun goes down! It is amazing. Yes it is next to a busy intersection so during traffic times it gets a little loud … We were out doing things from morning until evening so it did not bother us any . Because you are in with the locals … there are local sounds such as dogs. Everyone here has a dog and sometimes there may be times that dogs are barking at 630 in the morning…. The owners of the dogs try to get them quiet but again if you think this is some tranquil quiet property you probably should not stay here. We personally love the west side of Oahu, we believe it to be the real Hawaii thank you Sam for everything!

Ein wunderschöner Urlaub

Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Alles war wie beschrieben bei der Ankunft. Wir hatten die obere Etage für uns. Man konnte im Außenbereich an mehreren Orten sitzen und es sich gut gehen lassen. Alles war schön arrangiert, liebevoll mit Licht geschmückt und einladend. Das Apartment war genau richtig für uns und die Ausstattung war in Ordnung. Wir haben eine wunderschöne Zeit dort verlebt. Unser Freund Sam hat dafür gesorgt, dass wir einen unvergesslichen Urlaub hatten. Vielen Dank dafür.

Oahu Paradise

Wonderful propert! Great communication with Sam. Kitchen was fully stocked and we ate multiple meals there. Beds were comfortable. It’s located away from crowds at Waikiki and Honolulu, but within driving distance of everything. I highly recommend!

So relaxing!

Reviews aren’t lying about the street noise. The property is at the corner of a very busy intersection. Tune it out. What a nice place! Beds are comfy. Kitchen is far better stocked than your typical rental (spices, tools, appliances, etc.). Full-sized side-by-side fridge/freezer. Great Internet. Great cable options. Super clean. Lanai is amazing, with tables, chairs, loungers and recliners. Lots of gear for outings, such as an ice chest, beach chairs, snorkel gear. Sam (the owner) lives downstairs, and very helpful.I’d give a thousand stars.

Waianae? Whyanot?

We enjoyed our weeks stay at Sam's place. Some traffic noise at rush hour morning and evening, rest of the time very peaceful. Didn't spend a lot of time at the place as we were out exploring Oahu. Sat out on the surrounding deck at night with a cold beverage and the sounds of waves. Never made it past 10 pm. Sam has a cooler, beach chairs, snorkels and masks to enjoy a day at the beach. I'm fascinated at the way has fixed his place up. He has great ideas on places to go to enjoy your stay.

Watch the sunset every night!

This was a very comfortable place. It had everything we needed and extras. Extra sunburn cream, extra soap and shampoo, extra condiments. Sam was available so much for questions and just to have a conversation. The property felt safe and it's right across the street from the beach. We sat out on the lanai on evenings we got home early and watched the sunset. Ko Olina is 10 minutes away, even in heavy traffic. We managed to find parking every time we went. Found some other beaches further up the road that were also pretty nice with easy parking. Thanks Sam for everything.

Uncle Sam and Honey Girl fed my soul!!

The rental unit is stunning, incredibly clean, spacious, and everything we could have hoped or asked for! Pulling into the driveway, we were met by Sam and Honey Girl (his furry companion) with such warmth, and happiness that it was more like coming home than visiting a friend! The home was spotless, comfortable, the linens looked brand new, and we never once felt like we "needed" something that wasn't supplied. The lanai is absolutely amazing! Sam has poured his artistic soul into creating a magical experience that really can't be described, you just have to see it. The tikis, the ocean themed artwork that has been lovingly painted and hung on the inside of the lanai, and the beautiful plants are all highlighted by solar powered color changing lights at night that seriously add to the magic that this place is! All appliances are new, clean, in perfect working order, and for those of us who are serious about our coffee needs, there is actually a coffee grinder and the most amazing French press. For beach days, Sam has beach towels, a couple of chairs, an umbrella, some snorkel gear, a couple of beach mats, and a huge cooler, literally everything you need. The graciousness of Uncle Sam honestly touched my heart! You can just feel the sincerity when talking with him, he loves his life, he loves his home, and it shows in every manicured detail that he proudly shares. The only thing we didn't like was leaving... but we'll be back, and I can't wait!!!

Good choice

We enjoyed our stay. The place is a lot bigger than I expected. Must be the wrap around porch. Good size kitchen. Nice views of the ocean. The bedrooms spacious . TV in every room. Sam is a very laid back nice host. I like the west side of Oahu. Hiking Kaena point, picnics Pokai Bay. Snorkeling electric beach. Great people too on the west side. Hoping to return soon.

Great place to stay.

The house was amazing. I woke up a few times to the sound of waves crashing which was cool AF. Sam was very nice and even though I was by myself the cameras made me feel way safer. If you are planning a trip definitely stay here!!!!

Keeping it local

We had a great time staying here. From the location, to the view, everything was amazing. We had what we needed for a comfortable stay. Sam, the owner was always available to answer questions or suggest places to visit. We will definitely rent from him again!

Great Place to Stay!

Right infront of Puka Pants Beach and 10 minutes away from Makaha Beach Park which for me is one of the best beached in Oahu. The house has everything you need from cookware, utensils, cooler, bath towels and more! Sam was such a gracious host! Will definitely be back!

Beautiful place, good location away from busy Honolulu

Excellent property, spacious and clean. Most essentials were provided. Host is super friendly and helpful. Just ask him if you need something. Traffic noise from Main Street maybe an issue for some people. We got used to it. Nice beaches in close driving distance. Beautiful wraparound deck with nice views. We truly enjoyed our 9 days stay.
