This vacation home is a dream property. The property has a beautiful view of Lokrum island and the old city. We enjoyed our morning coffee every day on the beautiful balcony, enjoying the views. Our host, Marijanka, was very friendly, informative and was available for any questions we may have had. I would highly recommend this property.

A balcony with a view

We enjoyed our stay. We chose the apartment based on the view from the balcony and the view of the old town was even better than expected. Our hosts were very welcoming and helpful. The apartment was a 15 minute walk from the Old Town,. The only drawback were the 100+ steps (which we had been warned about) which left our 70+ year old friends a little breathless. The trick was to get the bus back and walk down rather than up. Overall a great apartment in a great town.

Fantastic property, with amazing view

The pictures don't really do this justice, it's bigger than we'd expected - the terrace in really big and has fantastic views of the old town and Lokrum Island. The owners organised a taxi for us so no messing about trying to find the property, and we were greeted by 2 lovely people and they took our cases down to the apartment too! Super clean, a home-from-home feel - hard to say anything negative at all. Thank you - we had a super week.

Amazing View!

This apartment was perfect for 6 adults. The bathrooms and kitchen are new and very nice. We had everything we needed. Plenty of storage, beds were comfy, place was just as advertised. We enjoyed the spa, which is not hot, but very welcoming after a long hot day touring. Our hosts greeted us with their home-made rose wine and treats. They gave us lots of info. The 108 steps were a little challenging for me, with a less than perfect hip, but everyone else had no problems. It was a perfect location for us and we enjoyed every minute of our stay.

Amazing Stay

We had a fabulous stay in September 21. Lovely welcoming hosts who gave us lots of info on where to go, places to eat out etc. The views were just to die for and we spent most evenings after days out, in the hot tub looking out to the sea and Lokrum island. There were only the 2 of us but it had 3 big double bedrooms so would be excellent for families. The kitchen was well stocked and the dishwasher/ washing machine were an added bonus. The parking space was handy as well. There were a lot of steps up to the apartment so may not be suitable everyone but we definitely felt fitter by the end of our stay. We’re looking to hopefully come back with friends next year as it really was one of the nicest stays we’ve had and we do a lot of travelling.

Perfect apartment

Marijanka is very welcoming and his apartment is very functional and well adjusted ! We were 8 including 3 couples and the apartment is sufficient. I really recommend this apartment which is perfectly located between beach and old town.

Excellent Apartment

Marijanka was a wonderful host. The apartment was excellent - clean, comfortable and good amenities. A bonus was the spectacular terrace where we relaxed and ate all our meals. Location is perfect - 5 min walk to the beach and 10 min walk to Old Towne. We would definitely return as we absolutely loved this place.

Stunning views, great location

Firstly Dubrovnik is a "must see" place. We were a group of 4 friends who always pick an interesting destination for our annual week abroad and I would thoroughly recommend this town. The apartment we chose, although not flash, was spacious and met all the basic needs. The proximity to the old town, the beach, and the supermarket was a plus. But the view from the large terrace was something else, it is breathtaking. Clear view over the Adriatic towards the island of Lokrum with the Old Town in full view. The scent from the orange trees in the garden below was also something to put in the memory banks. The payback is the steps, but you can't have the view without getting up high somehow. It is possible to take a bus and walk down steps from the top road, all very easy. We chose to walk to and from the town and up the steps each time and by the end of the week we were all feeling much fitter! The owner Marijanka is also very very nice and helpful.

View, Location, Terrace, Perfect

You just need to read the other reviews for accurate description of this wonderful "find". Spacious enough for a family and another couple (which was our set-up). The terrace is the wow-space. Plenty of room for all. Them 108 steps are a challenge but worth the climb. (Less steps UP to the parking/grocery) The beauty of this place is you can avoid the crowded tourist periods and just hang out on the terrace and still feel like you're "doing something". We hope to return in the future.

It's all about the view.

We were a group of 7 (3 adults, four kids) and the apartment suited us perfectly. The apartment was a 13 min walk to the old town, 9 min walk to the beach and 7 mins to the grocery store. It was 108 steps down to the road which takes you to the beach and town and around forty steps up to the road that takes you to the grocery store. The owner Marijanka was very easy to deal with. She arranged our transfer from the airport and was waiting for us when we arrived. She was helpful with directions and other info about the area and Dubrovnik. Everything in the listing is accurate and the terrace is spectacular. Unbelievable views!

Amazing views of old town!

We stayed at the apartment for 4 nights (7 people, 2 families with 3 grown children) and it was in a perfect location for trips to old town, the market and the beach. The terrace has the absolutely best views of the sea and old town, we could have stayed there all day enjoying the view! Our host was lovely and communicative, we even booked a all day cruise on the family boat to the islands which was wonderful. Highly recommend spending a day on the water with them. We will hopefully be able to stay here again next time we visit Dubrovnik and would highly recommend to anyone (who can do the stairs).

Best Views!!!

We stayed at this lovely apartment for 4 nights in Aug with our 3 kids (ages 18, 16 &14) and it was very comfortable. Convenient market nearby on the upper road to get all your grocery needs. Fabulous terrace to enjoy morning coffee and evening wine…the view was outstanding! There are a lot of steps to get to the apartment (over 100…yes I counted) so not recommend for any one with any disability issues. Walking the wall is a must in the old city. The host was lovely, very accommodating and charming, we would definitely stay here again.

Your property was nice and clean. great view!

We stayed 10 nights and everything worked. The old town and beach was near. A lot of looking in small area. We recommend everybody whose legs are in good shape.

Fantastic views combined with excellent location.

The apartment description was accurate as to the location, views, amenities. It is clean and well maintained. Marijanka was an excellent host-very responsive and welcoming. The view of Dubrovnik from the terrace during the day and night were awesome. The three bedrooms have large and comfortable beds. One bedroom have access to it's own small balcony. The kitchen is small, but well equipped if you want to do your own cooking. We spend most of our time on the large terrace enjoying the unbelievable view of the old town and the many boats passning by. One thing to note is you either need go up or down many stairs-be prepared-which lends itself to the wonderful view of the Aegean Sea . The walk to the beach takes 5 minutes. There is a food store some minutes away. Walk to the Old Town, with it's many restaurants, takes approx. 10 minutes. Public parking is free and first come first serve. It is easy to rent a car. It is also easy to visit the island of Lokrum, for some cliff sun bathing. I would definitely recommend this property to family or friends. It is a bit more expensive than some other apartments, but for us the excellent location and beautiful terrace view was worth the extra Euros. I would definitely rent this property again!
