We had an absolutely wonderful stay. Highly recommend for anyone wanting to get some rest and enjoy the beautiful desert. Loved the character of this VRBO and all of the indoor and outdoor spaces. Will definitely be returning back!

Nice Place for a Weekend Stay

Stayed here for a nearby wedding and it was the perfect space. The house was spacious and provided all we needed (bathroom items, plenty of hot water, water jug, etc.) for the short stay. Would recommend as it is very well priced compared to other options in the area.

Desert getaway

The house provided exactly what we wanted…a secluded amd quiet getaway from our busy lives. Our favorite part was going for walks on the desert trails.

Wonderful desert retreat

A great place to get away from it all and relax — enjoying a morning cup of coffee while listening to the water fountain or a evening glass of wine while star gazing. We had everything we needed. We couldn’t decide if the best thing was the Sun Room, patio oasis, hammocks, chair swings, or turtle & fish pond! Everyone had their favorites. We hope to return soon!

Star gazing

If your looking for a place to stay that is peaceful and feel like your connecting with the stars at night, this is the place for you. The owners have been magnificent and done a wonderful job at making this place feel like home. It has plenty of outside area to sit back, relax as you sip on a glass of wine. They have a nice little pond in the back that you can sit by and listen to the smoothing sounds of a waterfall or if your more into S’mores they have a fire pit as well. This was a great place to stay with my sisters and mom for the week while visiting our brother in Yucca Valley

Desert Oasis

We enjoyed two nights in this gorgeous home. Loved all the decor and the fact that the house/kitchen was so well stocked. It was about 25 minutes from the park entrance. The expansive views during sunrise/sunset were phenomenal. No need to look any further!! I think the only complaint all weekend was that we wished there were enough hammocks for all of us. :)

Cute, quiet, relaxing space

We enjoyed this home immensely! It was spacious but yet homey. The artwork throughout the home was fun to look at and if it would’ve been warmer, the pond outback would be peaceful to sit by! The house is fully stocked and very clean. Great parking as well! No close neighbors so our truck and trailer fit well!! We will definitely rent again!

One of our favorite rentals to date!

This is the most beautiful and peaceful rental- do not hesitate to book! It is immaculately clean, communication with the owner is quick and clear, and it incredibly private while still being close to town. It really is an ideal rental and the owners are lovely to work with. They have thought of everything and added fun touches throughout the home. It’s also one of the best stocked kitchens we have come across. We would definitely love to come back and stay at this place of peace and natural beauty again!

Property was perfect for our family gathering. Enjoyed playing the vinyl records and entertaining ourselves with the numerous games provided. Living space was nicely decorated with sunlit rooms and grounds impeccably kept.

Desert Paradise

AMAZING property and great hosts! Communication was great, check-in was a snap. The house is beautifully appointed, clean and spacious. Very hip décor and the house was supplied with everything we could need or want for the weekend. Super cool art pieces throughout - even some originals by the hosts, Mark and Esther. Groovy hi-fi system with turntable and lots of LPs. Who woulda thunk we'd be chillin' to TMonk on wax - really enjoyed the turntable!! The house was larger than we expected and slept 8 big men comfortably (a couple with sleeping pads on the floor here and there). The backyard is huge with plenty of room for cornhole and bocce ball. There's a fire pit in the backyard and another one in the middle of the desert just steps away from the house. We used the patio on the east side of the house as a disc golf tee box - phenomenal! Awesome koi pound in the middle of the backyard and fish food in the kitchen cupboards - so cool! But this is the best part... The Golden Arrow is literally the last house. It sits at the end of the street and nothing but miles and miles of open desert to the east; it was absolutely glorious! The next closest house is maybe 1/10 of a mile to the south west. The sunrise out the French doors of the "Sunrise Room" - spectacular! And the sunset from the backyard looking west over the fence - it looked like a painting. Very short drive to the $5 Pizza Place and Dollar General. Can't wait to try La Copine and Giant Rock Meeting Room next time. We are definitely booking this spot again if Mark and Esther will have us. The Golden Arrow is top notch!!!! Reserve without delay!

Yucca Valley gem

The views, outdoor space, location, size, and amenities made this home a perfect fit for our family. The bedrooms were cozy and unique, the kitchen fully stocked with the comforts of home, and an open living room/ dining room allowed space to hangout after of day of exploring. What a gem and we can’t wait to visit again!

Beautiful and comfortable

We stayed here with two friends. It was a wonderful experience. Comfortable, private, beautiful views, and everything you could need in the house. The hosts made sure we were all set. Agree with another visitor that it’s better than in the photos. Would happily stay again. Thank you!

Tranquility and STARS !

These owners have a certain flair that makes their home, cozy, comfy and inviting. So enjoyed our short time there, especially sitting out star gazing. I havn't seen the milkyway so clearly in quite some time. Situated in a quite area (except when the neighbors fire up thier dune buggies) you will put on an old LP and find your happy place here in this lovely abode. We have decided to return on day soon and this time, stay a bit longer. Thanks for sharing your home with us !

Great stay!

Three friends who live in the beautiful mountains, visit the desert each year in March or April. We were so happy to find this house as it was perfect for us. Three bedrooms afforded us some privacy at night. We enjoyed our breakfast at home before heading out to look at art or take a hike. It was really windy during our visit so we didn't hang outside, but the two patios and the pond made it look very inviting. Hope to return. Thank you!
