Clean and comfortable.

This property was nice, quiet and clean. It's in a neighborhood but all the neighbors we passed by were friendly and waved in passing. Conveniently close to town but not too close. It was just right for our stay while visiting family. We would stay here again.

The place is great. Only issue i might have had was it was not as easy as i thought it would be to get to the river. but we found other places to go. over all i would for sure go back. I give it 5 stars.

A Completely Sterling Experience

I can't say enough kind things about Cherisse and this location just outside of Franklin. We had a lovely time, the property was remote enough that we were never troubled by light, noise, or neighbors (although the neighbors I saw on my morning walks were also lovely and very conversational), but close enough to town that we had more than everything we needed at our fingertips at all times. Amenities and beds inside the house were more than sufficient, and I am particularly grateful for the supply of coffee I found in the kitchen. Check-in was easy peasy, with thorough and thoughtful instructions front and center on the counter. Check-out - equally frustration free. My girlfriend very much appreciated the small honey bottle - the bear is already placed with care above our photos in the dining room. Book with confidence - Cherisse will have your back.

Needs a new master bed.

The location is quiet and beautiful. The house is nice and the host was fine, but the bed was horrible. My husband and I ended up sleeping on the couches because of the bed.

Comfortable Place to Sleep

We didn't spend a lot of time at this property because we were in town to see family. It was perfectly adequate for our needs and provided a very comfortable place to sleep. Cherisse was very communicative and made sure we had everything we needed.

Good for a short stay

The property was clean. It could use some updating. The beds were older and so was the towels and furniture. Its ok for a short stay but it also has no internet.

Great mountain escape

This property is an excellent find. Everything was as advertised. The location was quiet but convenient for many of the activities in the area. Our family had a great stay. We just wish we had more time off for this vacation!

Lovely Private Cabin

My family and I had an amazing time, and the cabin was everything we could have asked for. It was clean, comfy, and private. Yet, it was close enough to downtown Franklin and many of the natural attractions. Cherisse was a wonderful host, who communicates very clearly, and answers any questions. I highly recommend this place, and look forward to coming back soon.

Excellent

Oh my gosh such a beautiful place. My husband stated that he thought the home was modern rustic. We came to visit the Whistle stop, which we did and had such beautiful accommodations when we got backe the this house. House was Uber clean and the Host was wonderful. She checked on us during our drive up from the Augusta area to make sure that we made it safely or if we needed any extra help with the directions. The directions she gave were spot on and place was easily found. She has a prepared notebook for set up and leaving instructions that were easy to follow. We all had a great time and will share the VRBO with family and friends. Thank you Cherisse, for a comfortable place for us to lay our heads.

Fantastic Franklin

The lovely 3-2 house as just perfect for my stay. It was located near my the place I needed to be. The owner was very organized and the house was immaculate. I would highly recommend this home.

Great getaway!

We enjoyed our stay! It was a nice home at an affordable price. As a heads up to future guests, I would like to add that our GPS took us to the wrong location but when we called Cherisse she stayed on the phone with us until we arrived at the right house. If you are staying here, I would definitely recommend following the directions sent via email ahead of time rather than depending on GPS. The GPS took us down a very rough dirt road that did not appear to be the best area to be in. Cherisse checked on us after the arrived to make sure that everything was good and was available when we called the next day to ask a quick question. The only recommendation I would make would be to add Wi-Fi service. We appreciated that we were not charged a cleaning fee. Thanks Cherisse for opening your home to us!

Centrally located

The house looked small from the outside but was impressed with the inside. We were there to hike on the Appalachian Trail and this house was located just a little away from what i wanted but it worked out ok. We didn't spend any time outside since it was cold but the location was quiet. Overall it was a great stay.

October Stay in Franklin NC

We needed a place to stay for the weekend that had 3 bedrooms. This location was the perfect size and only 13 minute drive from where we spending our days. The leaves were starting to change which was nice.

Peaceful getaway

Cherisse was kind enough to leave the lights on for us for our anticipated late arrival. The home was immaculate. The home is located in a very quiet neighborhood. Cherisse left us a bottle of honey as a gift, which was so fun and thoughtful. I appreciated her prompt communication and the attention to detail in her notebook. She does not have wi-fi but we were able to use our mobile hot spot, so our son could do his homework. The next door neighbor was very helpful with sharing directions to the river and to see waterfalls in the area, which were spectacular!! Would highly recommend this stay.

River access to fish, picnic, or just go for a hike down the nature trail. If adventurous bring your kayak/canoe and put in and go for a scenic ride down the river.
