¡La cabaña "Morning Glory" tiene vistas panorámicas de Dolly sods, Canaan Valley y la parte superior de Port Crayon desde la ventana de la cocina!

"Morning Glory" es una cabaña de nueva construcción. Ella ofrece un ambiente tranquilo y relajante para que nuestros huéspedes se refresquen y restauren de adentro hacia afuera.

Hermosa chimenea de leña de piedra de río es el corazón de la cabaña. Proporcionamos leña y troncos para algunas noches de su estadía.

La habitación principal tiene una cama king size. Loft tiene dos camas dobles, amplio armario y mucho espacio.

El baño cuenta con ducha extra grande. La cocina ha comprado recientemente electrodomésticos, ollas y sartenes, etc.

Disfrute de la bañera de hidromasaje y el pequeño estanque en el patio trasero.

Un montón de estar al aire libre y una parrilla de carbón para comidas al aire libre, así como un fuego al aire libre ...

¡Relájese en la subdivisión privada de "Cherry Ridge" y experimente la vida salvaje en un entorno campestre!

Everything was very nice, the scenic views, the weather, the cabin, everything! Dan and Barbara were kind to offer us recommendations on the trails and restaurants, We mostly hiked, so we didn't spend a lot of time in the cabin, but the cabin was secluded and beautiful. Perfect for a romantic getaway.

Our stay was absolutely wonderful! The cabin was private and in a beautiful and convenient location close to all the parks we wanted to visit . Being an animal lover the horses were the perfect addition to making this one of our best vacations.

Beautiful property that was private but central to everything you need. We enjoyed the quietness of the location as well as the amenities like the hot tub. The hosts were very helpful by welcoming us and helping us get accustomed to the house.

Beautiful location, in a private mountain community. Dan, the property owner lives nearby and stopped by when we arrived and showed us the in's and out's of the cabin and hot tub. Very nice gentleman and we enjoyed chatting with him! Cabin was extremely well appointed with everything we needed and nicely decorated. Comfortable bed, nice kitchen and bathroom. The hot tub was a nice welcome home after a day of exploring the area. The horses across the road were lots of fun to visit. We bought apples to treat Chief, Rudy and Jeanna the donkey daily! We would definitely stay there again!

Dan and Barbara were incredibly gracious hosts who made themselves available throughout. The cabin was beautifully maintained, clean, and in a gorgeous location. It was especially wonderful to have access to the feeding the horses carrots and relaxing in the hot tub, in addition to the tranquil setting with astounding night sky views. The location is superb, as it is only a short drive to nearby Davis and Thomas, WV as well as plenty of hiking trails in Dolly Sods, Seneca Rock, and Blackwater Falls. Cannot speak highly enough of our stay and of Dan and Barbara who were unbelievably kind and generous.

Fantastic only begins to describe our 4 night stay. This place is really out of the way, even for WVa. It’s wonderfully quiet with a super- dark night sky. A short drive to Dolly Sods and Canaan Valley, a bit longer to Seneca Rocks and Spruce Knob.Be sure to follow the owner's directions to get to the cabin. Ignore the GPS or whatever navigation system you have. Honest.

Perfectly Relaxing Mountain Retreat

Thank you so much to our incredible hosts for creating such a beautiful vacation spot!! Stunning cabin and peaceful mountain setting!! Barb and Dan have thought of everything to make guests comfortable! We also enjoyed visiting with them and learning about all the area had to offer!! We found a gem and hope we can make it back again! This place would be an absolutely perfect autumn getaway!

Dad and daughter's perfect weekend

We were looking for a quick weekend getaway from the city and stumbled onto Dan and Barbara's Morning Glory Cabin. The cabin is set on the way up a small hill where we could hear streams of water flowing near by. The drive up to it, we were gifted with picturesque views and deer froliking about. The Morning Glory Cabin was everything one could look forward to. Dan and Barbara had done such a wonderful job with its design and I loved the attention to detail. Our mobiles were unable to pick any network at the cabin, but once we were on the Route 32 we were good. Would recommend downloading offline maps if you were visiting the area and didn't know much. The cabin wi-fi was on the slow side and could not handle over two devices. Considering we were there for vacation, we were happy to be away from our phones and laptops.My favorite part about the stay was the company. The horses and donkey at the property were really friendly, always looking for a treat in your hand! Dan and Barbara were such great hosts, we would definitely stay at their cabin when we visit again.

Barb and Dan are exceptional hosts! We have stayed in Sunset Cabin and Morning Glory and always want to stay longer! Their beautiful cozy cabins are filled with anything you could possibly need. Whether you are looking for picturesque mountain views or peaceful serene porch surrounded by nature -either cabin will do! We spent many hours on the porch, even stays dry in the rain!

3rd anniversary get away

We absolutely loved it horses walking around the cabin The view how peaceful and quiet it was out there. We really enjoyed feeding the horses and the donkey that was out there and the owners were very helpful. I never get back out that way I'll definitely be going there. Thanks

Short getaway

I really enjoyed the house. It was just as described. The house was clean and stocked nicely. I would have liked some sharper knives. Loved having the horses around. The weather ruined our final day as it rained all day and cold. Dan and Barbara were nice enough to offer another night at no charge because of it. I thought this was super nice and thoughtful and really appreciated the offer. Unfortunately we were not able to stay. Would highly recommend this property as the location is great and beautiful.

One of my favorite places!

Perfect cozy getaway

While the weather was fairly grey for most of our stay, this cabin was the perfect place to be cozy and relaxed while on vacation. The area was blissfully quiet and peaceful, and the horses knew the drill on who to come to for treats. Would love to come down again for the fall when the trees are changing. Definitely a place you want to visit again. And well worth the drive down!

Amazing Property

We had an awesome time at this property in West Virginia. The cabin was meticulously clean and beautiful. The owners were great and always available for questions during our stay. Also, it's right across from a horse farm, so we had a great time feeding the horses apples and carrots. Tons of deer in the yard each morning as well. We will be back!

We are the vacation owners of "Sunset Cabin" in "Cherry Ridge," listing number 356030.

We enjoyed our little cabins so much that we decided to build another similar to "Sunset Cabin."

We made "Morning Glory" a little bigger, improved the bathroom, and added central air conditioning.

We are from the Tidewater area of Virginia. We moved here to the mountains of WV about 17 plus years ago for skiing, hunting, and hiking but stayed for the summers!

This area of WV has so much to offer for the outdoor enthusiast.: numerous hiking trails, horseback riding, star gazing, hunting, fishing, golfing, kayaking, etc...

All four seasons have something spectacular to offer. This is why we love it here...nature at its best!

Our private subdivision, "Cherry Ridge," is a unique place to visit.

Close enough to Canaan Valley state park, Timberline ski resort, Davis, and Thomas but far enough away to feel like you really have gotten away from the business of city life!

The sounds of Nature and abundant wildlife can be experienced here in this peaceful, relaxing setting!

Our goal is for couples to experience the beauty in the stillness ...one of the darkest spots on the east coast enables our guests to see the stars as never before!

We want our guests to walk away relaxed and refreshed for the journey ahead...choose "Morning Glory!" and experience the change!

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

Our cabins are centrally located to many attractions. All are within 20-45 minutes of the cabins.

The new cabin has central air, a large walk-in shower, and plenty of outdoor seating.

I’m addition, plenty of firewood is provided for a couple of cozy nights around the campfire outside or the fireplace inside!

Enjoy the sunsets and the sunrises from our "Morning Glory” cabin!
