Moderna cabaña de troncos con vistas de millones de dólares ubicada en una comunidad privada cerrada. No hay vecinos visibles en la vista frontal, muy privado. Porche / cubierta en tres lados. Amplia sala de estar abierta y cocina moderna con encimeras de granito. 2 habitaciones de la planta baja con suite principal arriba. Excelente área de descanso en loft con la mejor vista de la montaña Shortoff y Table Rock. TV por satélite en la sala de estar y dvr con películas (no conectadas a satélite) en master. Playstation 2 también. No hay WiFi, lo siento, pero no lo necesitará. Siéntate en el porche y relájate. El vecindario tiene piscina también. Sótano inacabado. Hoyo de fuego con mesa de picnic.
A solo 4 millas de la rampa de acceso al bote. Dos parques estatales muy cerca: 1 con áreas de picnic y caminatas y otro con una playa de arena y un área para nadar.

Great Views & Location

This beautiful and quiet mountain home has great views of Table Rock and Shortoff Mountain. The location is great in terms of proximity to Lake James, Morganton and Marion. The house was very clean, and the host, Brian, was very communicative and accommodating. We will definitely stay here again for future trips to the area.

Excellent. What else can I say.

Hosts like Brian are the reason we try to stay at listings by owners instead of management companies. The house was beautiful, well furnished, well stocked, clean, and accurate to the listing. After booking, Brian made contact with me to see if I had any questions and provided me a list of things to do in the area. He was also able to get us into the house early on our arrival date. After we arrived he checked in to make sure that the house was in order and see if we had any questions. The house was well stocked with books, movies, games, and various coffies and hot chocolates. There was more than enough seating and plates and silverware. The neighborhood is very quiet and spacious. The lots are big and the houses are spaced out. The pool was very clean and well kept. All the roads to the house are paved. They are narrow, which is normal for mountain homes, but there was room to pull off if someone came in the opposite direction, but with so few houses, we never passed anyone. We loved the week that we spent here, and hope to come back again.

Comfortable & Peaceful

The cabin is beautiful and clean. Great for families - air hockey and lots of games on site. The views from the deck are wonderful. The cabin is generously appointed - it has everything that you might need. Brian, the owner, is extremely proactive and responsive. Will definitely stay there again.

Lake James NC Cabin Stay

Beautiful, quiet cabin location. Brian, our host, was as professional as anyone could hope for. Home was well furnished, very clean, easy check in. Not a problem for us but it is a smaller parking area at base of cabin but definitely manageable. Would happily stay here again fir just the views off the balcony facing the mountains. Certainly a top tier rental.

Vacation stay

My wife and I were in North Carolina for The Whisnant’s homecoming. We found this cabin in Nebo it was fantastic. The views were great , cabin was clean and comfortable. It was near lake James and close enough to all the amenities we needed. Would definitely recommend this owner and property.

Recent stay for family emergency.

We loved our location of the property and the view of the mountains. Brian was prompt in replying to any questions we had. An idea to note for future guests would be nearby grocery stores like Ingles, etc. An additional idea would be to some how design the driveway for a wider turnaround area whenever departing property. Can be challenging! Otherwise, thoroughly enjoyed the home.

Family weekend

A lovely cabin. It feels like it's hidden in the woods with a beautiful view of the mountains and the sound of bird songs. The little community is right around the corner from I40, very easy to get to. Close to the lake, makes for a quick trip "home" after a long day on the water. And if you happen to get rained in, there are plenty of bored games and puzzles to keep everyone entertained. Very clean and tidy place, wonderful host, Brian, goes above and beyond. Highly recommend a visit.

Family Winter holiday

We had a wonderful and peaceful family vacation at the cabin. The location is perfect , close to hiking trails , winery, brewery and waterfalls. Loved seeing the wild Turkey , cardinals and deer around the property. Cabin was perfect size for our family . The views of the mountains are amazing from the cabin .

FABULOUS

This lovely cabin in the wood exceeded our expectations. It was in a quiet neighborhood with outstanding mountain views. Very clean and stocked with most essential items. A lovely fireplace and out door deck, with plenty of seating. Great communication with owner!!!We highly recommend and would stay there again

Great mountain getaway near Lake James!

Spacious cabin with beautiful views, very close to Lake James, Morganton and Marion. The cabin was very clean and the check-in process was a breeze. Brian communicated very well and provided lots of information on nearby attractions, towns and parks.

Beautiful, quiet, & relaxing…

We traveled to Nebo for a family wedding in the area. The house is located in a very quiet beautiful gated neighborhood and felt very private. We were greeted by a few deer when we first arrived. It was exciting and the house was amazing! The first thing that takes your breath away are the floor to ceiling windows in the great room. The views are stunning! The house was very clean and had everything you’d need. We did however need an iron and ironing board for our clothes for the wedding and there wasn’t one. Normally who would need that on vacation at a lake cabin right? So I got in touch with the owner and he immediately got on it and got us one. He was so kind and communicated with us about everything. We just wish we could’ve enjoyed the house more as we were very busy with the family wedding and festivities surrounding it. If we ever make it back to Nebo we will DEFINITELY rent this home again!

Great Stay!

We absolutely loved our stay at Brian’s house! It’s in a terrific location. Incredibly quiet neighborhood with great views and close to Lake James and surrounding trails. The house is spacious and comfortable with ample amenities. Brian was friendly and responsive. Check-in/out was a breeze. It was perfect for our family and we hope to have the opportunity to stay again.

Gorgeous cabin in a beautiful location

Renting this cabin was just what we needed. Time to unplug from our busy everyday schedule. Cabin was clean, checking in was a breeze and communication with the property owner was fantastic. There is so much to do in the area. We skied and hiked during the day and relaxed in the cozy cabin at night. Sitting on the deck at sunset with the gorgeous Mountain View’s was so peaceful! I definitely recommend this cabin for your stay!!

we had a great time relaxing enjoying the view from the porch. the cabin was nice an clean had everything we needed to cook meals an make our stay pleasant. we loved the out door fire pit. just sitting around visiting. The host was easy to reach for questions. over all a great visit.

Quality deck time

This cabin had an ideal location where we met up with family for some R&R. It is still an easy drive to tourist sites. We visited Biltmore one day, drove the Blue Ridge Mountain Parkway another day, and spent morning coffee and evening wine at the house on the deck watching the beautiful view. The only problem is the driveway is a little hard to find.

Lovely Cabin with a great view

The cabin is perfect if you want to get away and disconnect. Yet, it's centrally located with easy access to Asheville (an easy 40 min drive to downtown), 15-30 min away from multiple hiking trails, and 5-10 min to Lake James. The cabin has a lot of amenities and very comfortable, so you can do as much or as little as you want. The property owner was very responsive and great to work with.
