Beautiful Garden Studio W/kitchen Near Bart

This sunny studio offers privacy, beauty and convenience in a quiet residential area. It is equipped with a full kitchen and is located close to public transit options (bus and subway) that can take you into San Francisco, SFO, or Berkeley. You can also walk to the UC Berkeley campus in a half hour or take an affordable Uber ride.

This cozy, one-room studio has carriage doors that open outward into a pleasant garden. The queen bed is high quality and very comfortable.

Guests have the convenience of eating meals at home, saving hundreds of dollars on restaurant costs. The kitchen has a gas stove, refrigerator, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, dishes, pots and pans and other cooking tools.

There is wifi or you may plug your laptop directly into the high speed cable internet. There is a smart TV with Roku and you can watch watch shows via Netflix or similar services. There is no cable TV.

Delightful Detached Studio for a Solo Traveller

This detached backyard studio unit was perfect for my solo work trip to Berkeley. The space was cozy and clean and provided a wonderful home base while far from home.

Great little spot

Had a very nice stay here for a week to visit friends and family in the bay area. Great location for public transportation. Clean, quiet, and great for a couple. Julie was very responsive and even let us check in early which we greatly appreciated.

Unfortunately, we discovered that this unit had major plumbing issues and an ant infestation during our stay, so we had to be check out early and find a new place to stay. The host was accommodating and provided a partial refund, which we appreciated for the misrepresentation of the condition and for the inconvenience. Until repairs are done, I would not recommend renting this unit.

Charming and Close to Campus

I came to do some research at the University. The place was exactly what I needed, Julie was quick to reply to all my messages, and the neighbourhood was lovely. I walk with a cane and walked to and from the BART. Great experience.

Comfortable, Quiet, and Convenient

I really enjoyed my stay here. Check-in information was clear and detailed, and access was easy. The space is laid out nicely and well appointed. The bed is indeed quite comfortable, and there is a comfortable lounge chair too. The kitchen has a good set of basic tools. If you like walking like I do, access to Downtown Berkeley, North Berkeley, and other parts of the city are less than 30 minutes away on foot. This is a quiet location, and the garden is well kept and beautiful.

Great little spot

This converted garage was just right for me. I could walk to the BART and buses. The space heater worked fine to take the chill out at night. No issues with the amenities. I had an urgent problem and the owner answered the phone immediately and got it resolved. Quiet, nice garden, nice neighborhood to walk around.
