Great getaway!

Loved this little escape on the south end of Camano. Very well kept and owner is very responsive. Overlook is just a short walk from cabin. Great spot!

The cabin is a nicely done detached garage conversion. It was further away from the water than I thought it would be. The furnishings give it a very cozy feel.

Cute little getaway close to seattle

My husband and I had a very relaxing time at this place. The place is small, but just big enough for two people. We loved the views, and the nearby trails and beaches. Perfect place for couples to reconnect away from the hustle and bustle of the city just an hour away from North Seattle.

Sea Glass Hideaway

Cute cabin nestled in the woods. Quiet getaway for two. The hosts are great and very welcoming. There are two decks to enjoy, one overlooking the grass and trees and another overlooking the water. I would highly recommend.

Quiet Get-Away

The cottage was exactly as described. The bed was very comfortable and the setting very peaceful. The two suggestions include a larger frog with a freezer and a table inside for meals.

Restful weekend

We were traveling to Camano Island after work, so we arrived rather late. Kathy had the cottage opened up with soft lighting, which felt so welcoming. The arrangements are very thoughtful, with everything we could need for light food prep. The bed is comfortable and if you walk out a bit, there are Adirondack chairs overlooking an amazing view of the bay. I would definitely look forward to staying here again!

Cozy and Idyllic property

We really enjoyed our stay. Wonderful relaxing getaway from the city. Woodsy and just steps away from a gorgeous expansive water view. We especially enjoyed the sound of wildlife at night. And the hosts were very gracious and accommodating! We hated to leave and wished we had more time to spend there!

That landing with view was amazing. Great with bbq for cooking. Fridge was super-small - don’t bring a ton of groceries. A bit much that guests have to do when leaving (take off sheets, start laundry) but not a huge deal. I just like to not do chores when on vacation.

Mother-in-law approved!

We booked the cottage for my mother-in-law for her week-long visit and she loved it! In her own words: "A lovely relaxing place for a weekend or a week! So peaceful, private and quiet, with everything needed for one or two for light meals, super comfortable sleep, laundry. Enjoyable art and craft throughout. Plus a small deck with a grill and a fire feature to sit by in the chilly evenings." She mentioned several times during her visit how clean everything was & how comfortable the bed is & how much she appreciated all the décor and artful touches throughout the space. She did express some concern that maybe larger people wouldn't have much space in the shower since it was a bit tight for her and she is a skinny old lady! LOL. When I walked through the cottage, I could see what she meant about the shower but overall the entire layout of the cottage was quite impressive in its use of a small space -- all of the rooms/spaces, even the bathroom, felt spacious & comfortable. My partner & I enjoyed sitting with my mother-in-law on the deck to have coffee in the mornings or to share a meal in the evenings and then relax by the outdoor fireplace until dark. Kathy is very responsive to messages & texts, everything you could want in a host! Thank you!!

A beautiful slice of paradise

The property was absolutely adorable and felt extremely cozy upon first stepping in. Kathy was very informative and the cottage had exactly what we were looking for on our trip. We will forever remember this little place as it’s where my fiancé said yes! Look no further for a wonderful stay

Cottage

A little smaller than we expected but perfect for just the two of us. Great use of space and very cute! We had all we needed and the cottage was well stocked. Furniture was nice. The cleaning fee was high especially since we had to do laundry and take out the trash ourselves. I gave it 5 stars and would definitely recommend and stay again if we came back in town. Thank you Kathy!

Weekend getaway

Friendly host, clean property, manicured landscape and beautiful trees surrounded this charming lovely tiny home. We enjoyed all the amenities and the location is very central to exploring the Camano island.

Short weekend stay

The property was great for a quick weekend stay. It was a little small, but had everything we needed. The property is surrounded by beautiful trees and a short walk gets you a great view of the water.

Wonderful relaxing getaway

The cottage was just perfect! We really enjoyed our peaceful time there. Everything was very comfy! Camano Island was fun to explore as well as the surrounding towns. We spent some time in Stanwood (the Thai restaurant Jasmine was super, with many gluten free options), La Conner and Anacortes. Lovely place!

I have been a Camano Island resident for over 26 years. I love the island life and all it has to offer. Jet skiing, paddle boarding, crabbing, fishing, quiet walks on the beach or the trails. I started hosting a couple of years ago because I wanted to share this unique experience with others. I find it very peaceful and relaxing.

Por qué escogió este alojamiento

Our property is on approximately 4 acres. We are located on high bluff about 175 feet above the Tillicum Beach community. The views of the water and mountains to the east are amazing. We often see gray whales, orcas and porpoises in the bay and eagles or blue herons above. The Landing on the bluff up from the cottage has table, chairs and an umbrella for our guests to enjoy this incredible view.
