Great place to stay

This place was perfect for our large group. The house was clean, well-stocked, and came with a lot of gear for outside adventures. I would stay in this place again, all around awesome set up.

Kodiak trip 2022

The house we stayed while in Kodiak was awesome, the location was great close to all shopping, the house was very well kept, clean and very comfortable, John was very helpful with information about fishing and things to do in Kodiak, Nancy was very assisting with any things we need, we come to Kodiak every year since 1995,one of the very best trip we had. thanks to John and Nancy, we would love to stay at John's again if available,

Home away from home

My most recent stay at Johns kodiak house was even better the second time around. I previously rented Johns home for a month while I was working on my boat in dry dock. The home is everything and more. The location is in a quiet family neighborhood. Not on a busy street which is nice. Close to major shopping which is great because with a large crew, feeding them three times a day can exhaust the pantry quickly. The house very well kept and stocked with everything a home should have to cook and entertain. What I like most about the house is the feel of familiarity. The lay out gives ample room for privacy when one needs a breather, and a open common areas that invites the group to engage and enjoy each other in comfort, as one would feel in their own home. The beds are vary comfortable and the Towels always feel new with every stay. John and Nancy are fantastic to communicate with and eager to help or answer any questions promptly. I’ve already booked my next stay and can’t wait to tell my crew about it. They love staying there as much as I do. You won’t find a better choice on the island for the money. Believe me, I’ve looked and tried many over the years. Thank you john and Nancy for making our stays feel like home!!

My family came up for a weekend of fishing and relaxation.

It was a beautiful home. Didn’t care for the leftover clothes in the closets from previous renters although some people may find this helpful. We were going to use a ice chest there, but when I put it in the back of the rental car, it smelled of rotten fish and we immediately took it out and cleaned the car. My fault for not checking if it was clean first. Otherwise, everything was great.

Great house - highly recommend

The house was comfortable for our group of 8. It was clean and had everything we needed. The garage was a bonus for all our gear and freezing our fish. Close to Safeway and Walmart which is a plus when you come in late every day. Quiet and nice neighborhood. Highly recommend staying here!

Beautiful home and great set up!

Group of 8 adults on an epic fishing trip. The house accommodations were perfect. John (owner) and Nancy (property manager) were very welcoming and communicative. Convenient location to stores and our activities. Definitely going to stay here again. Already planning our trip for next year!

Great place to vacation

Group of 5 came to Kodiak for a fishing vacation. The house was immaculate and had lots of room with all the amenities. Very comfortable as if it was your own home. Already reserving for next summer.

Best luxury home rental on Kodiak Island. This will be our go to place for future stays

John & Donna Thank you for the hospitality during our stay. Our expectations were met in every aspect. Nancy met us at arrival and was very helpful getting us settled. She also came back and provided a some nice gifts and restaurant suggestions. The house was perfect for our group of 10 and was central to everything we did while on the island. The stocked bar and pantry was a 1st class touch. There is no question where we will stay next time we come here. Look forward to working with you again.

This was a beautiful house! It had everything we needed. John the owner was amazing and Carol the property Mgr was so helpful and accommodating. The house is so close to everything. Safeway and Walmart are 2 min away. The chartered fishing trips were great along with the seaplane bear trips. Memories on the deck at the house looking at trees and eagles and enjoying each other’s company. There were 10 of us and there was plenty of room and nicely laid out. Thank you for an amazing stay John and Carol!!!

Perfect house for a few families on Kodiak

We really enjoyed our stay at your house. Plenty of sleeping space, great hang out areas, and we loved having all of the stuff in the kitchen. The communication was great and we felt right at home. Hopefully we are able to return in a few years. Thanks for sharing your home with us.

Home away from home

Well appointed lodging with friendly and helpful host. It was so nice to just move our luggage in and make yourself at home and enjoy what Kodiac has to offer. Very convenient location to everything in quite neighborhood. This was our second stay at this location. I would highly recommend this property for anyone looking for a quality and comfortable place to hang your hat.

Family Fun in Kodiak

First of all the owner, John, was fabulous from the beginning. He was easy to communicate with and full of information about beautiful Kodiak Island. His property manager, Laurie, was prompt in meeting us at the property, very friendly and thorough. John's house is a perfect family getaway. It is fully stocked, roomy, and convenient. If we are ever back in Kodiak we would certainly stay here again. I highly recommend it.

Excellent rental for our party of 10

Beautiful home. Property was well stocked and immaculate. Property manager was very responsive in resolving some minor issues. Would definitely stay here again. Location was very convenient to all amenities.
