Fishing trip

Three adults stayed for a week and fished. Great place to stay and awesome view. Host was easy to contact and very helpful.

Another amazing stay

This is the second time our family has stayed at this wonderful home. The setting is unbelievably beautiful with views of the beaches and sunrises through big windows or on the wrap around deck. There is a path with salmonberry bushes on either side leading to private beach access. We enjoyed beach combing and berry picking daily. We caught cod, flounder, halibut, rock fish and more taking the kayaks out into the bay on two different days. The bedrooms are cozy, the kitchen well stocked, living area comfortable and the bonus garage provides a great space for gearing up for daily adventures. We're already looking at dates for our next stay. Thank you Jennifer!

Beautiful accommodations with a stunning view!

Very cozy, private, unique B&B with an amazing view of ocean and mountains! The kitchen is very well furnished and a pleasure to cook in. Enjoy meals while watching birds in the surf! I would definitely recommend this lovely place and wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. Thank you, Jennifer!

Great place on the water

I visited with family and friends and we very much enjoyed our stay! The beach just below the property was perfect for beach combing and tide pooling. We saw an eagle flying by regularly every day and also saw some seals from the deck. The house was clean and spacious. The owner/manager are very responsive.

Nature at it's finest. Eagles flying right outside + saw a seal and heard loons. Very relaxing and comfortable!!

The Best Ever!

The views are wonderful and the home is very comfortable. It has a fully stocked kitchen and bbq grill for cooking. Watching the tides go in and out was magnificent! It was lovely to have a private beach to walk down to each day. Close to town, grocery store and anything else you’ll need. The home is very private and the owner, Jennifer, is the sweetest. She offered us tanner crab from her freezer one evening:) Overall, this home is easily a 5 star place to stay while on vacation and definitely recommend to anyone who likes beautiful views, a comfortable and nice home, great location and an amazing owner. It’s a great home away from home while on travel:)

WONDERFUL

Just got back from a week in Kodiak at Jennifer's place. We had 6 guys and there was plenty of room. The home was very clean and was well stocked in case you forgot something. She is very nice and helpful. Works out great with coming in through the basement garage and leaving all your dirty stuff there. Place is roomy and comfortable. The view is the BEST. We used the grill and deck every day. Would only stay here next time.........Thanks again Jennifer for everything Mike

Pros/cons

Pros: great location, very clean and comfortable, gorgeous scenery right on the water Cons: my interactions with the owner were frustrating. I never received any check-in instructions despite multiple phone calls/emails to the owner in the days leading up to my check-in date. They finally answered the phone on my second call after we had already arrived in Kodiak--just added a little more stress than was necessary. After that, everything went fine.

We didn't love it nor did we hate it. Need a third option :)

When we arrived no one came by to check that everything was okay- a bit disappointing. Bathtub wasn't clean- hair in drain. Dishes in the dishwasher so we emptied it. Wi if didn't work and the remote in one bedroom didn't work either. Trash left over from last visitors in some areas. Beautiful view tho and the deck was lovely.

Simply Amazing!

This was our second trip to this rental and loved it again! Such a great location with access to a great private beach, never saw anyone else there. Awesome ocean views from the living space and deck. Yard is fenced and great for kids to play around. Another perk was the huge salmon berry bushes lining the driveway, we picked gallons of them! The unit has everything you need, including a large garage which is great for storing your gear. Also kayaks are available for use. Thanks for hosting us, looking forward to our next visit.

Great experience.

It was a wonderful place to stay while we were exploring Kodiak. Jennifer was wonderful to work with. I would stay there again in a heart beat! The beach down below the house was really fun to go and explore. The kitchen was well stocked with cooking supplies, spices, dishes etc.

Scenic Location

Beautiful and spacious location right on the beach, and close to town. The host was also very helpful and welcoming. I would definitely stay here again and recommend this place to family and friends.
