Overall, the stay was great and would go again. The view was wonderful, cottage was clean, and grounds are well kept. A few things, I did not like there was no back light to the back deck so we were not able to utilize it as much once it got dark. It was dangerous going down the back step to get to sauna without a flashlight. There was no window covering on the front or back door would have liked that for privacy; however, not sure if this was done for security reasons. Communication from the property manager or the person sent to enter as someone came by and just opened the garage door. This left myself and my husband feeling a bit uncomfortable knowing that someone could just enter at any time and not bother to knock on the door to let us know that they are there.

Incredible South Shore stay

We had an excellent stay at this oceanfront cottage in Hunts Point Nova Scotia. It's a great spot to explore the South Shore lighthouse route, nearby to Lunenburg & some other cute day trips. It also had incredible amenities including washer & dryer, hot tub, sauna and the comfiest bed! We absolutely loved having the windows open hearing the sounds of the waves as the sun came up in the morning ❤️

Nice waterfront house

2 couples easily accommodated. More than 4 would be tight. On the water with pretty view. Loved the hot tub. About an hour south of Lunenberg, so easy day trip there. Kitchen well equipped. Living room comfortable.

Good over all...some quirks

Arriving at the property, we had no idea the cottage was directly on the busy roadway. There are no listed pictures of the front of the cottage, which would have helped more than the couple dozen "family photos" on the website. Worse yet, there was major road construction going on directly in front, that we were not made aware of. There is no A/C at this cottage, and with Global warming happening..it was a bit toasty, though a few fans and the windows opened...we were fine. Upon coming back the next day, found the garage door open and someone in the basement, which freaked us out. Apparently the basement of this cottage is used as housekeeping for the 3 cottages in this area. This was not explained in the listing, and was very vague in the booklet inside the cottage. Maintenance also comes in and out every other day to pick up hot tub cleaning materials for other cottages and to clean the hot tubs for the 3 in this area. This we got used to also, and had some nice conversations with the staff. The outdoor deck is very small with too much furniture, but we still enjoyed it. The view is wonderful and the breeze off the bay is lovely. Really enjoyed walking down to "Quarterdeck" for lunch and the beautiful beach at Summerville. From what I understand the management is going to install an A/C unit, and increase the size of the deck. Would we stay here again...yes, if we are ever in the area again. Found it cozy and perfect size for just the two us

Cozy Shorefront Cottage

The name that the owners chose for this property was perfect. Given one word to describe this place, cozy would be about the best. It felt like home from the moment we stepped inside. Everything one could imagine needing was there and found where one might expect to find it. The furniture and decor were comfortable, everything was clean with no surprises, and the view was awesome. When you add in the sauna and hottub which were the perfect combination for winding down the days, this place certainly rates as many stars as we can possibly give it. The only part we didn’t enjoy was having to leave.

Loved it!

Location was beautiful and setting/amenities were perfect for a low key beach vacation/reunion with our adult children. A great base for family time, exploring, and enjoying nature on the south shore trails and beaches. We saw seals and even had an eagle visit the shoreline of the property our first afternoon there. Restorative and fun, even with all the rain and fog! Highly recommend.

Beautiful property

Cottage is beautiful. Hot tub and sauna were a relaxing treat at the end of the day. Everything you need is provided. Will definitely stay here again

Amazing Views!

We loved this location. The views from the back windows and deck were amazing. It felt secluded even though there were neighbors. My son was surprised to find the rock outcropping to explore. Watching the sunset from the hot tub was the highlight. This was our favorite spot on our Nova Scotia vacation!

Beautiful view!

This property was beautifully decorated inside, and very comfortable, with all needs thought-out. All the windows showing the beautiful view was amazing! We really enjoyed the hot tub during the sunsets!

Beautiful cottage

Just got home from an amazing couple days at this beautiful cottage. It was very clean and had everything we needed. Beds were very comfy, hot tub was great and the view was spectacular!!

Stunning Property

This property is absolutely beautiful. The location is amazing; directly on the ocean, with beautiful rocks and vista views. It is just a short walk to Summerville Beach. The cottage itself is lovely with an open concept to take in all the gorgeous views. Priyanka was responsive and a pleasure to deal with. I will be back.

We have been managing luxury vacation rental properties In Nova Scotia for the past 8 years and have a team of caretakers who maintain the property and are on call should any problems arise. Our cleaners painstakingly wipe down all surfaces and high touch areas with a diluted bleach solution and all bedding is washed at the highest temperature to ensure the house Is properly disinfected between guest visits.

Features include open living & kitchen area with hardwood floors, a wall of windows and expansive views from every vantage point; 2 bedrooms and a common living area with a double sofa bed each with ocean views and hardwood floors, a stylish main bathroom with infloor heat (ensuite to both bedrooms), half bath and substantial deck overlooking the ocean.
