The weather is perfect this time of year and you're situated on the beach right between plenty to do just North and South of here....and being in in the middle of the two can be perfect for relaxing and spending some downtime with the family just basking. Doesn't hurt to be able to walk 2 min to one of the best local seafood restaurants.

Thanks Christian! I’ll see if we can get some thicker drapes/curtains that pull across in lieu of the curtains that are already there. The Winter sun is certainly lower in the Southern sky for this month & next, all of the other months it’s overhead as it rises & sets. I just set up professional carpet cleaning to come out tomorrow (on a Saturday) to do the stairs and the couch as well; we like to keep things nice. Thanks for letting me know; will be perfect in a day or two.

Jim, thanks for the feedback, I'll stock the place to the nines with additional utensils, additional glasses, and I like the pointing out of the microwavable plates; apparently not all pottery has the fda stamp. Ah, it sounds like Mother Nature decided to give Indian Rocks Beach a bit of a shake-up with those hurricanes! We're still feeling the effects, and you're absolutely right – the property management team has been working tirelessly, like absolute champions, to get everything back in tip-top shape. We're especially thrilled that you noticed the completely redone pool! It was quite the undertaking with new motors, pumps, the whole shebang, so we're glad our guests can finally enjoy a refreshing dip again. Regarding the laundry situation, you hit the nail on the head. Unfortunately, the hurricanes weren't kind to the complex's plumbing, and it seems the washing machine incident revealed some ruptured piping caused by the flooding. The grounds team was actively working to get that resolved during your stay, which we know wasn't ideal, but hopefully, it's a sign that things are on the mend. We truly appreciate your understanding and grace as our city continues to recover and rebuild. We hope that despite the temporary laundry inconvenience, you still found some sunshine in your Beach visit. Our whole area is committed to making things even better as we move forward!
