¡"UNA VEZ SOBRE UNA MAREA" es la unidad A en el lado oeste del dúplex que ofrece mucho espacio para su familia y el lujo de una playa privada despoblada! Esta casa de playa está completamente amueblada con todo lo que su familia necesita para disfrutar de una semana relajante en la playa. La casa tiene 3 habitaciones grandes, 3. 5 baños y más de 2500 pies cuadrados y cuenta con una pared de ventanas en la sala de estar y la habitación principal que ofrecen amplias vistas del Golfo de México.

Great location!

This was probably one of the best beach vacations we have had in a long time. The house was wonderful and the location and private beach made it even better! We will definitely be booking again for next year!

Lovely place for a visit

Once Upon a Tide was a great home away from home with a much better view! Check-in was easy, Dee communicated beautifully, and the house was just like the pictures showcased. There are lots of little touches that made it comfortable; alarm clocks in every room, streaming device options on all TVs, cozy seating on both decks, beach chairs, beach toys, and lots of storage. It was a great visit to our own private beach and we would happily return to stay in this great rental!

Great vacation home!

The place is amazing. Plenty of room for everyone with lots of very nice outdoor space. The beach is clean and the sand is amazing, literally right in front of the house. It doesn't get much better than this. Kitchen is well stocked with everything you need to make your favorite meals. Grocery stores, bars and restaurants are close too. We highly recommend it!

Great week with family

Very comfortable home for our family. Great to have an extra fridge for drinks. Also, wine fridge was welcomed. Kitchen was well-stocked, other than a missing skillet and damaged spatula. Dee remedied that once informed. Dee was quick to respond during rental process. Although there is a condo next door, we felt as though we had our own beach and there was no encroachment from other beach guests. Only problem was our week went by too quickly!

Fantastic Family Vacation at the Beach

First of all, love, love this vacation home!! Since this was the first all family vacation we’ve had in 10 years..,and our grandkids (ages 4, 6, and 9) first time to go to the ocean…we were wanting the perfect experience. That is exactly what happened! This is a beautiful and very clean home. The entire house was a perfect set up for our family of 6 adults and 3 children. Everyone had their own space and there was also a large living/dining /kitchen area where we could all be together! The views were beautiful plus there was plenty of seating for everyone to hang out on the decks. Beach chairs, beach umbrella, and sand toys were provided so everyone was happy!! The kitchen was well appointed for cooking and we had all we needed to create some excellent seafood dishes. Our host was prompt to take care of the air conditioner that lost its cooling power (same day) and having 3 air units for the different levels was a wise choice. We will definitely stay here again when we have another family vacation at the beach!

Great Private Beach Access

We enjoyed having our own area at the beach that was secluded from all others. The property owner communicated quickly to all our needs. We loved having the house versus a condo for the convenience and privacy.

This property is wonderful and very family friendly. Nice balconies. Very spacious. Many stairs to climb. Needs a good cleaning from top to bottom, but a nice rental.

Better than we thought it would be!

Two families of four stayed together at this beach house and it was perfect! The house was more spacious than we expected and far exceeded our expectations and the beach was AMAZING! We had so much fun and were so sad to leave. The owners were as sweet as can be and were so great about responding and making sure all of our questions were answered. It was all in all a perfect vaca exactly what we were looking for and would for sure like to go back someday! I felt like we had our own private beach and it was wonderful. Lots to do and see but it was hard for us to leave the beach but when we did so many things were very close. Even a cute little beach store we shopped several times and could actually walk there! I cannot say enough about this place and owners...many fun memories made! THANK YOU!!!

Everything you need and perfect beach views.

Owners have all the kitchen items you need. There were nice beach chairs and beach toys for use. There is a nice grill and accessories for use also. Great gulf views and easy access to the beach make this a great place.

Much needed getaway!

Thanks for the wonderful stay in your "Home away from Home" at the beach! My family thoroughly enjoyed our time there. The home is spacious and open which really allows for easy visiting. The view is beautiful. We have wanted to stay in a house versus a condo for years and we were not let down. It was really nice to not be surrounded by crowds of people or have to fight for a space on the beach. We got up when we wanted & set up on the beach when we wanted instead of having to run down at 6am to reserve a spot only to have someone set up right in front of us later in the day. The kitchen was surprisingly larger than the pictures looked. This was important because we like to cook & had every meal in the house versus going out. We had a coupld of VERY minor hiccups as can happen with any trip, but Dee ALWAYS answered our messages within minutes. One tip I would give is to keep the 3rd level bedroom door closed at all times to keep the room cool. When we arrived it was extremely warm. Its a "Crow's nest" / attic level room which is difficult to keep cool. We were concerned and messaged Dee who responded with minutes. We closed the door and turned on a fan. The room cooled down overnight and fine the rest of the trip. Super minor, but we really appreciated that we received an enthusiastic response within minutes. We would definitely recommend the house!

Nice spring beach week

The house was wonderfully located on the beach. There are high rise condos on on side of the house, but the beach was pretty much empty in front of the house. The house was well equipped and freshly painted. The furnishings were very comfortable but not necessarily high end. For the rental amount, this was a good value. We enjoyed our time here.

Beautiful beachfront home

Beautiful house. More than enough space for a family of 6. Very convenient. Private beachfront with no one within 50 yards. The most dolphins I’ve ever seen. They came inside the sand bar a few times and played. Easy walking to restaurant and beach shop. Will stay again soon and bring grandparents since there is so much space.

Hi- We are Dee and Patrick Koranda from Perdido Key, FL. We purchased this beach house in June of 2018, and previously owned vacation properties in Orange Beach since 2010. We absolutely love the OB/PK area and are so blessed to call it our home. Perdido Key is unspoiled and uncrowded with 60% of this 16 mile long barrier island being dedicated to State Parks and Gulf Islands National Seashore. Its a great place to slow down from life's hectic pace, relax and unwind, and enjoy beautiful sunrises and sunsets in the company of friends and family. We have a list of favorite places and things to do in the area that we share with our guests who are new to the OB/PK area.

The OB/PK area is naturally beautiful and its no secret! The beaches near the high-rise resorts can be very crowed during peak vacation periods. Here you have an opportunity to spread out your beach blankets, bring the frisbees and kites, and enjoy the beach with your friends and family, without the crowds. You will BEach Happy!

Our duplex offers the luxury of a private beach AND spacious areas for entertaining both indoors and out! Large living and dining areas inside or enjoy our ground level dining/entertainment/grilling area if you want to get out of the sun for a while. We have a fun ring toss game under the house and a corn hole game for playing while grilling out. Several surfside chairs are provided.
