Host Ryan was most enjoyable. Loved the decor, but need a few places to put our things down. Clever use of spaces.Hope to return as our son lives in the area.

Great New Years Eve stay

We had a great time at our loft location right in downtown. We were close to restaurants and bars and had the best location for the ball drop. Ryan our host, was very helpful and a pleasure to work with. I would recommend this location to anyone looking for a relaxing stay.

Ryan's place is one of the coziest places we've ever stayed. It's in a great location, right next to restaurants and stores and close to the beach. It felt like being at home!

My husband and I stayed for a nice weekend getaway. The place was awesome! It was clean and comfortable and all of the small details were amazing. Ryan was so welcoming and available whenever we had questions. Definitely recommend!

Weekend getaway

Nice space within walking distance to most of the top spots in town. Parking and check in/out was easy. Ryan gave great recommendations for local sights and restaurants and was available for any questions we had throughout our stay. He made accommodations for a late checkout so we could get cleaned up prior to driving home after our morning hike.

We truly enjoyed the unique one-of-a-kind experience we had while staying at this historic condo. Great location. Even greater experience was getting to know Ryan and Lola. They made sure we got settled in and made the most of our three days. Looking forward to our return trip in near future.

Wonderful property in the middle of downtown

We had an absolutely wonderful stay in Ludington! Ryan was the most gracious host and provided excellent recommendations on restaurants, bars and activities. The apartment had everything we needed and we loved the eclectic decor. Ryan was a very attentive host and we would definitely recommend him and the property.

We stayed at Ryan’s place for 4 days on our way to a family vacation at Glen Lake, and it couldn’t have been better.Ryan is special—rooted in Ludington history, a gifted artist, and an articulate storyteller we could have listened to for hours. The condo reflects that same spirit: spotless, comfortable, and full of thoughtful touches that make it so much more than a place to stay.He also made excellent bar and restaurant recommendations—places the locals love—that gave us a real taste of Ludington during our stay.The location is ideal—right in the heart of downtown yet still private and quiet. From biking and hiking to walks on the pier and along Lake Michigan, there’s plenty to enjoy just steps away.We left feeling refreshed and grateful for the experience, and for the chance to meet Ryan, who we now call a friend. If you’re looking for a stay with character and a host who truly cares, this is it.

Great little downtown getaway for anniversary!

Thank you again so much Ryan for the wonderful space you have! What a way to celebrate our 10 year wedding anniversary! Spectacular!

This charming condo in downtown Ludington blew us away in every way! As awesome as the pictures are, they simply do not do it justice. The condo is clean, comfortable, cozy, and convenient to the unique shops and outstanding restaurants of downtown Ludington. Ryan, the property manager, was incredibly accommodating and provided great information on the do-not-miss restaurants. By far, this was the best vacation rental we’ve ever experienced. Although it had a boutique hotel feel, it quickly became our home away from home, and the people from Ludington were very warm and welcoming. Thank you, Ryan. You could teach courses on excelling at customer service.

Great Location, Great Space, Great Weekend in Ludington

We had an awesome stay in Ludington at Ryan's condo. The space was in a perfect location right downtown near all of the restaurants and shopping, and was just a short walk to the beach. The condo was very clean and uniquely decorated with many interesting items and books that must have been collected over Ryan's many years traveling the world. Ryan was a perfect host and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our stay. We were welcomed to check out his new shop, the Sexy Nomad, which was just beneath the condo. It was the most unique shop in town and we found a great gift for a relative's birthday. We appreciated chatting with Ryan about his life travelling as an artist and photographer when we crossed paths one night at the Mitten Bar, also just beneath the condo. We will certainly look to stay again any and every time we are back in Ludington. Thanks, Ryan!

Ludington Trip

The condo was nice, very clean, and the owner very attentive. The only negative is we had to live out of suitcase as there was no place to put clothes. We did enjoy our stay and the location was perfect

Amazing host, space, and Lake Michigan town!

My wife and I cannot say enough in support of Ryan and his incredible historical rental. Not only is the space beautiful, but Ryan has created a warm, eclectic history within through countless books and art pieces. It was very clean and full of thoughtful touches to make one's stay as comfortable as possible. Ryan was warm, welcoming, and an excellent resource for us as we enjoyed our time in downtown Ludington and along it's beautiful lakeshore. We will definitely return!

Birthday Trip to Ludington

We spent 4 wonderful days in Ludington. Our stay was magnificent right from the beautiful apartment to the town and surrounding area. Ryan was a perfect host from start to finish, I forgot my iphone charger and he let me borrow his and he had a Happy Birthday Banner up, such a nice touch. The apartment was perfect so comfortable and decorated perfectly, so much to see and look at. It was 56 and sunny on Saturday so we went to the Bluffs which Ryan recommended, so cool and scary being so high up. Went to the lighthouses, saw the dam at the Ludington State Park, walked up to the dunes which were gorgeous. It was such a wonderful weekend and I highly recommend renting Ryan's apartment. Thank you Ryan for making my 60th Birthday so special.

A magical weekend

My wife and I stayed a weekend at this amazing apartment for an anniversary/birthday trip, and it will go down as one of our best trips together, thanks in no small part to this amazing apartment. Ludington is a wonderful town with great places to eat/shop and parks and the beach to enjoy. There is plenty to do around the area as well, but the centralized location of this apartment meant that once we parked the car on Friday we didn't use it again until we left. The apartment was very clean and had everything you could want/need. The history and well crafted decor made the place truly feel like a magical place to stay. You can tell a lot of thought and effort has gone into restoring the place and making it an amazing experience. The owner was more than helpful throughout the entire process and really added to making a great trip. He even helped us out by shipping sunglasses to us that we forgot. We will definitely be staying here again, what a treat!

Beautiful old building, cozy & comfortable space with a wonderful host!!

This refurbished space in this historic building was like a walk through time. For those who appreciate such places, you will not be disappointed. The woodwork alone was worth seeing. But then when you see the windows that overlook the street, it does not disappoint. It is a beautiful space that is homey, interesting, and very comfortable. The plethora of old books to peruse adds to the feel of the space as well. It would be difficult to cook more than simple items due to the small kitchen space, but there are so many fabulous restaurants, who wants to cook? The full size fridge, microwave, coffee maker, and sink are plenty. And certainly more than one could wish to have at a motel. Everything was VERY clean and comfortable and we could not have asked for a better host. The ONLY drawback for us would be the absence of an outside space to enjoy. I would absolutely book here again and plan to in the future for a girls' trip.
