This is the second time we’ve stayed at Allan‘s house in the West End of Provincetown. It is one of our favorite houses and always a pleasure to return to. We fully recommend it. Allan is always attentive and quick to respond to any questions.

This was our first time staying at this house, but we come to PTOWN at least once a year. We really loved this house- the location was awesome. We brought paddle boards and went out in the salt water marsh by the breakwater several times. Walked to town every night for another delicious dinner and drinks. The location was very quiet. Word of caution, the stairs can be a lot if anyone is mobility challenged (like our old dog) or if you have kids. The only cleanliness issues were there were some serious cobwebs from the high ceilings (I bet those are a real pain to clean- honestly I don’t even know how you’d do it) but they were pretty evident. Wonderful stay overall and hope to return to this house in the future.

The house has ample space for six guests, the location is fabulous and the host was great to work with. Highly recommend!

Great stay in Provincetown

We've stayed in many places in Ptown over the years but this is one of our favorites. Plenty of space for everyone to spread out and a great location in easy walking distance to town. The house is beautiful and has all the amenities you need for a great vacation. This was our second stay and we hope to stay again!

This house was perfect for our family who spends a lot of time at the beach and Ptown inn and beach while in Ptown! The house has a lot of different levels and spaces with a bit of a quirky layout that works well for vacation when folks may want their own space at times. Allen was a great host and easy to communicate with!

What a great house! Stayed with a group of 6 friends, there was plenty of room in the house for us all to relax and not feel crowded. The house was located close to town but perfectly tucked away on a quiet street. Allan was very friendly and communicative. We will definitely be staying here again!

Good point, Lynn. The lot size dictated that the house has four levels. The advantage, I’ve found, is that there are multiple locations for quiet activities, like reading, if you want to get away from the group.

Fall Getaway

We loved everything about our stay! Allen was very quick to respond to our questions about the house. We were fortunate enough to have the best weather conditions you could ask for during our stay. We recommend this property to anyone interested in staying in Provincetown!

Great place to stay in Provincetown!

We had a wonderful stay at the property! The location is great, with easy walks to beautiful spots (beach, tidal flats) and to Commercial St. The house was really comfortable, with more than enough room for our group (4 adults (grandparents and parents) and 1 child). The house was really well-equipped and we had everything we needed. Communication was also great. It was a fantastic trip!

Wonderful Experience

We were very pleased with this stay. The house has tons of room and an incredible amount of outdoor space. The master bedroom/bathroom was just perfection. The kitchen was spacious and clean, and the location was the perfect distance between Commercial and the beach. We hope to be able to stay here again next year. Highly recommend :)

Nice house in a great location!

We had a great stay. The house is located in a beautiful and quiet location with convenient access to the beach and Commercial Street. Some in our party preferred walking while others often rode bikes to get around town. The house was comfortable with all the necessary amenities for a nice relaxing vacation. Our host was very communicative and responsive to any questions we had. We will definitely try rebooking at this location for future trips to Provincetown.

More than a rental in Provincetown

Three of us, one couple and a close friend, enjoyed two weeks in this house which has every kind of space over four floors (including the basement) for being together or apart, reading, relaxing, exercising, preparing meals and dining. It's a solid dwelling with intriguing design, lots of windows and doors to let in light and fresh air, and a stone's throw from the gorgeous marsh and breakwater at the end of Bradford and Commercial Streets in the West end. Forget the car and bike or walk to Herring Cove. Everything worked as advertised! Landscaping in progress but lots of trees and canopy and a wonderful patio. Other porches on other floors. No complaints. All good!

Awesome property, but needs a refreshing.

As advertised, the house is architecturally spectacular, very large, lots of spaces and lots of private balconies and nooks to unwind and relax. Excellent location close to everything but in a quiet residential area. The biggest disappointment was the cleanliness of the house. The typical horizontal surfaces were clean, but the house is really in need of a thorough deep cleaning. Black cobwebs hanging from the ceilings, the white ceiling fan blades were black with dirt. Windowsills were absolutely filthy. Paint is stained and chip. but overall, we would still recommend the house because it was very delightful.

Hi Dennis, Thanks for your comments. I was at the house a couple of weeks later and didn't see any cobwebs except in the garage, where they get vacuumed periodically. The window sills outside of the windows to do get dirty and were cleaned last spring during the preseason cleaning. That is the result of windblown sand and dirt that gets through the window screens. Sorry you were disappointed. It was a very busy season and some of these details don't get attention during the changeovers that prioritize fresh linens, vacuuming and clean kitchen. Perfect Summer Getaway by the Beach

Nestled just a short walk away from the beach, this house is a dream for anyone looking to escape for a great vacation in PTown. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the charming ambiance and thoughtful amenities that awaited us. Allan, the owner was readily available via text for anything we needed. The neighborhood itself is quiet and picturesque, perfect for unwinding and soaking in the coastal vibes. But still a short walk to the best restaurants and shops. The interior of the house is as inviting as its surroundings. Clean, airy rooms each tastefully decorated to reflect the seaside locale. The kitchen, a highlight for any food enthusiast, was fully equipped with everything needed to whip up a gourmet meal. Cooking was easy with top-notch appliances and ample counter space. A spacious patio with a grill ready for BBQ evenings, and comfortable patio furniture perfect for lounging or dining al fresco. The house provides everything you need for a day on the sand. Beach chairs and towels were readily available, ensuring we could effortlessly enjoy long days lounging by the ocean.

Great, comfy, private, quiet home

Four of us stayed here over a long Thanksgiving Day weekend...four nights. We found the house to be ideal. Spacious, quiet, private, clean and very comfy. While we did not get to use the decks due to the extreme cold, each bedroom has its own private deck area. There's also a nice patio area. The house is located at the very West end of town, but still walkable to everything. The only "issue" we had was with the fireplace. The house was cold upon our arrival. We attempted to start the gas fireplace several times to take the chill out of the air while we waited for the heat to kick in, but it would not light. It was really no big deal, as the house warmed up fairly quickly and we really didn't need the fireplace after that. In fact, the house would have been too warm with the heat on AND the fireplace going. We would definitely stay here again.

Thanks so much! I’m glad you had a good visit in spite of the cold. The fireplace is tricky to get started at the beginning of the cold weather and I don’t think anyone expected it to be that cold at Thanksgiving. Hope you folks come back when it’s warm!

Lovely home

Home was well equipped and on a nice quiet street, but still close enough to walk to many restaurants and nature sights. Bedrooms had window ac units and were on lower level. Beds were comfortable and sleep was great. But I do not think the listing made it clear that the house does not have central air conditioning. We were lucky the day time highs did not exceed 75- it was too warm that afternoon on main upper level for me. So that may be a concern for some folks. Most of the year this would not be a problem especially with the cool ocean air at night. Overall I recommend! I know ptown is expensive as this was the most I ever spent on a house rental-bikes were listed as an amenity but they were not usable. Again a great home. I would rent again.

Thanks for your comments. Cobwebs appear as fast as they are removed. All were cleared this spring. I think the walls were clean but repainting is on the to do list. Hope you had a good visit.

Amazing stay in Provincetown

Great house for a week stay! Had everything we could ever need or want! We’ll appointed kitchen and lots of privacy for all of us. The decks are expansive and it was wonderful to sit out in the sun and relax. Location is perfect for accessing Bradford and Commercial Streets. Will definitely book this property for our next trip!!

No surprises

The home is in an excellent location, very fully and thoughtfully furnished and equipped and the host was helpful and very pleasant. We know O”P-town well and had a great time even though it was after Labor Day. We would all recommend this property.
