My entire family of 18 converted on Lake Conroe for a family wedding. These accommodations were superb! The house was spacious and the game room, kept the children occupied while we prepared for the wedding! The kitchen had room for all of us without feeling cramped! The whole house was well appointed! We didn’t need for anything!

Great game room! Kitchen had everything needed for cooking and snacking. Beds were very comfortable. Back porch and front porch were perfect for relaxing and enjoying the view. Fenced yard perfect for my dog and she loved it!The propane grill probably needs to be retired.

Family vacation

We had a great time. Loved all the water toys we had access to! The house is so big! The game room could use some upgrades. The kids still had fun though. The beds were very comfy.

Nice property but misleading about lake

The house was spacious and clean on the inside. The beds are comfy, and the master suite is wonderful. The third full bath is really just a powder room with a shower, so not really big enough for four bedrooms. There should’ve been another bathroom, or at least a full one.We were disappointed to hear from one of the neighbors that the lake in front of the house is polluted and has unsafe levels of E. coli. They saw our kids down on the dock, and she came down to let us know that the HOA should have posted a no swimming sign, because the lake has had continued high levels of E. coli. They were able to kayak, but it was really hot, and not being able to get in the lake was unfortunate. We had planned on using that as a swimming hole and hanging out with floats, but we weren’t able to do that.The lawn was also extremely high, but after contacting the owner it was cut the next day. The backyard is not as large as it appears in pictures, as it is heavily overgrown around the fence line, and very uneven. You couldn’t put up a volleyball net or do any kind of sports in the backyard, because it was so uneven. Great location and a convenient boat launch to get into Lake Conroe. The house itself was very spacious, so everyone had their privacy. The kids really enjoyed the game room, and the neighborhood is clean and safe.

Our stay in Montgomery, TX

Property in a beautiful location with lake setting. Close to everything, including Walmart, gas, restaurants, etc. It was clean, the kitchen was filled with pots/pans/baking anything else you could imagine EXCEPT a can opener that worked. We had to open 24 cans and used one of handheld can openers which was very dull, the other had no handle. We feel the property that holds 16 people, which we had, should have an extra refridgerator. We had to shop everyday for meal prep, plus the ice maker didn't work, so many bags of ice were purchased. The TV in the living room and primary bedroom buffered and couldn't watch. All in all, it was very nice accomodations, clean, beautiful view, and a great rec area! Would stay again.

Family Lake Getaway

This place is huge. It had four good sized bedrooms. The master was huge. The home was equipped with all the necessities. It even had a paddleboat we used to ccruise the small lake in front of the house! We played pool and ping pong. The kitchen had a lot of necessary cooking supplies. We enjoyed having family meals together. Overall it was a great place for our family.

Close enough

Close enough to Lake Conroe and the city of Conroe & Montgomery without the hassles. This was our 2nd stay here 1 year apart. Perfect neighborhood for walking along the small lake. This one level home is perfect for the elderly to toddlers. Stop by the store on your way in for coffee and any needed food. Pets allowed??? WOW, you would never know it, other than the empty pet bowls, no smells or signs of damage. The home needs a few cosmetic updates, poor interior lighting and an appliance (ice maker/water dispenser) repair. All other appliances - refrigerator/freezer, dishwasher, washer, dryer, microwave, Kerig coffee maker, and drip coffee maker all work perfectly. We plan to return for our annual trip.

Plantersville wedding

House was lovely, owner was very responsive. Location has beautiful view and privacy while also having excellent access to grocery store, restaurants , etc, and just a 25 minute drive from the wedding venue. There were lots of left over spices and condiments for cooking. Had everything we needed for a wonderful 3 night stay.

Nice location, spacious home, needs some attention

We had an overall nice weekend at this Conroe / Montgomery house on the small Lake Lorraine near Lake Conroe. Lake Lorraine is immediately in front of the home, and the house has kayaks, a paddle boat, and a paddle board to enjoy on the lake. The house had lots of space for beds and dining table seating. However, the house definitely needs to be treated with pest control. Property management responded within a few hours of our contacting them, and they tell me they'll treat the house.

Other homes don't give you privacy. This property sits on a full Acre and is in the heart of where all the restaurants, marina, boat rentals etc. are located. No driving an hour just to get to fun side of the lake! Home sits directly infront of the calm private lake (part of lake Conroe) & provides a calmer place for younger children to enjoy while parents supervise. You can launch your boat directly into Lake Conroe also from just steps away from the property driveway.
