The Red Door es un sótano de un dormitorio de concepto abierto de 600 pies cuadrados con entrada propia, baño completo y cocina totalmente equipada con café / té incluido. Miras hacia un patio privado y un área verde totalmente vallados. Estamos ubicados a una milla del corazón del centro de Gig Harbor. We had a lovely three nights stay and highly recommend the property for a stay. Very tranquil setting. Comfortable bedding. The hosts have thought of everything. Dedicated parking spot very convenient to rental space. Clean, well equipped. Owners were easy to contact, responded swiftly. We highly recommend and would certainly stay here again if in the Gig Harbor area.

Troy and Jolie were just the most wonderful hosts! My Mom needed a quiet place to stay after a medical procedure and their place fit the bill. The garden was lovely and all the amenities were just right. We will absolutely be back n the future. Thank you!

A little difficult to get luggage down the outdoor steps, but once you’re there everything is just great. Very clean and comfy. All the touches and furnishings we needed for a 4 day visit with our family. The hosts are super nice and friendly, but definitely gave us our privacy.

The Red Door exceeded our expectations! What a great place. It was very clean and comfortable. Although we were in the basement, noise from above was not a problem. The bed was very comfortable and the small kitchen met our needs.

A Gorgeous Getaway!

The apartment is roomy and attractively furnished, with a large bed and comfy easy chair and couch. Love the red refrigerator! Included were basics like eggs, coffee, creamer, microwave, tea kettle, plus dishes, pots, pans and cooking utensils. The hosts even supplied us with a bottle of sparkling wine, all sorts of brochures on local sites, and a list of nearby restaurants. The yard outside the apartment is SO appealing, with colorful flowering plants and verdant grass. There are chairs for sitting outside, and feeders that attract birds, including hummingbirds. Two dehumidifiers keep the place comfortable, and they are simple to empty as instructed. The hosts are very friendly, are available by text or call, and respond promptly. Lucy the dog is an adorable and well-trained VRBO ambassador. Only 15 minutes away from Gig Harbor shops, restaurants, and harbor views. You do have to be careful negotiating the few damp concrete steps down to the entry gate, and you are asked to take your shoes off once inside to avoid tracking in anything. We had a wonderful time and highly recommend The Red Door.

The red door

We stayed at the red door for three nights. We were in town for a wedding, the location was perfect. The process was flawless, communication with the owners was excellent. The property was very nice! Would have loved to have used the fire pit, but it was 95 degrees.

Wonderful hideaway

We enjoyed our stay at the Red Door. Located in a quiet neighborhood, we could relax in the evening after touring around the area and Seattle. The garden was full of birds every morning. The hosts are very accomodating. We can highly recommend staying there.

Grammy visiting family

From viewing online and booking, through packing up to return home, this was an awesome place to stay in Gig Harbor! Troy and Jolie were amazingly kind and welcoming, and Lucy was friendly and the best behaved dog ever. Everything was picture perfect and a terrific place from which to explore. Quiet and peaceful, gorgeous landscaping, comfy bed, pleasant shady patio with chairs and footstools for a place to read, etc. For sure, would book here again (and again).

It's all in the detail!

My husband and I stayed for a week while house-hunting in Gig Harbor. I worked from the apartment 3 of those days. Internet service was reliable. The kitchenette was well-stocked and had a nice Keurig you could use to make a full pot or a cup at a time. Brita pitcher in the fridge was a nice touch to avoid buying bottle water. Comfy bed. Nice bottle of wine awaiting our arrival. We cooked a few meals while there and found the appliances very functional. Troy Snook was very responsive and helpful throughout our stay. I even got to pet their dog Lucy and toss her a ball in their lovely backyard. We are returning to stay again less than a week later while doing business in the area. A testament to the enjoyment of our stay!

Quiet & Relaxing

We stayed 9 nights while I was recovering from surgery. We couldn’t have asked for a more quiet, peaceful place to stay. Troy & Jolie were amazing hosts and made sure we had everything we needed to be comfortable. Their place is top notch. Very clean and the amenities were plentiful. Their yard is also beautiful and very well cared for. We would not hesitate to recommend to others and would love to stay again sometime. Thanks again Troy & Jolie!

Gig Harbor Memories

We came up to say goodbye to our mother. Visit with friends we haven’t seen in years. What a wonderful peaceful stay. The backyards with the birds, squirrel, gardens and Miss Lucy. Thank you Jolie & Troy it was perfect! We will be back.

Get different experience

I stayed 3 weeks. It was very comfortable and the hosts were very friendly and made sure I had everything I needed. The location was excellent close to anything I needed in town. I would certainly recommend this to anyone wanting a good place to stay in Gig Harbor.

Clean, Beautifully decorated, Comfortable

This apartment was the perfect accommodation for us. It was beautifully furnished, comfortable, included every amenity imaginable, and then some. The private back yard was beautiful, affording a restful solitude from the busyness of life. The hosts were extremely friendly, helpful and accommodating. We would easily stay here again!

My stay

I had a weekend class in Tacoma and didn’t want to stay in town. This was a perfect distance out. The yard was beautiful. The dog was adorable. It was very quiet and close to good food. I’d stay again, it was very comfortable.
