The Whole Package

We recently visited the area to attend the Tampa Bay Blues Festival at Vinoy Park, and we stayed at this charming home. The location was perfect . . . It’s nestled between the beach and downtown St. Petersburg in a quiet little neighborhood with everything you need and more close by. The home itself is beautifully decorated both inside and out and equipped with everything you need. We were a party of three 60 women and we had plenty of space to sit together both inside and out, and plenty of space for privacy. The host (Karina) was wonderful to work with both through the booking process and while we were there. We had a little plumbing issue and she had it fixed right away. This place truly offers the whole package. We will definitely stay here again.

Beautiful property close to many beaches

We had a great stay. The property is beautiful. We had 4 adults and one infant. There was more than enough room, with a separate space for the parents and infant. There was multiple outdoor seating areas and fire place. We were super close to the beaches and were central to lots of restaurants. The check in process was super easy, and Karina even left us a little christmas gift. There was christmas decorations which made the vibe even better for a sunny christmas. Before checking in, there was a few miscommunications with the host which is why I gave a 4 star review in regards to communication. I was seeking some information about hurricane damage and it was hard to get a clear answer. Just so everyone knows there was absolutely no damage to the property. We really enjoyed our stay and I would 100% recommend this property to anyone looking to travel to Florida. Its adorable!

More than meets the eye!!

We were two couples who rented the house for 5 days. The host was very easy to communicate with and replied quickly. The house is in a great location and close to many areas of interest. It’s tucked back in a nice neighborhood and there isn’t any road noise or loud neighbors. The house itself has everything you need and then some. We were ecstatic that beach chairs were available for our use and well as coolers and a wagon! We cooked out one night in the lovely backyard and had a nice visit around the fire pit with a warm fire going. Mornings were spend enjoying coffee on the front porch. There was plenty of space in the house and the four of us never felt crowded. Plenty of towels available but a washer and dryer were available if a load needed to be done. We would definitely stay here again! Thanks for everything Karina!

Christmas 2023

Our family had a wonderful stay at the Fat Flamingo over Christmas week - while the house decorations are already amazing it was a nice touch by the owner to have added some holiday decorations. The house itself is super comfortable both inside and outside and was perfect for our family of 6. We enjoyed the multitude of amenities which were provided with the house and appreciated the time which was spent to provide such an outstanding experience. The location is in a very nice and quiet neighborhood - we had a car so a short drive to many local options. We would highly recommend the Fat Flamingo. Thanks!

Family Christmas

This was the first time we have done a get away trip for Christmas. This house was perfect for everything that we needed and having some Christmas decor was just the perfect touch. The outside area was perfect for us to be able to enjoy a fire at night or even the table out there we were able to have Christmas dinner out there. Wonderful experience all around.

Great location for a family getaway!

We loved this house! We had everything we needed. Two living spaces made it perfect for us and our two teenagers! The house had more than anticipated amenities! Two grills, fully stocked kitchen, plenty of everything! Very close to three shopping centers for food and all things local. Minutes from several beaches and we were fortunate to see several fireworks shows while in the area! I would highly recommend this house for a family vacation house, but definitely would have a rental car for freedom of transportation. We hopped in the truck and ran all over town and figured out the local stuff! We will be back if we come back this way with the boys for sure!

Cozy Home w/ Tropical Vibes

Staying at the Fat Flamingo was a great choice! Quiet neighborhood, a homey feel, and tons of rooms for whatever you’d need! The outdoor area is gorgeous as well! Highly recommend for good times near St. Pete.

Wonderful property! 11 out of 10!!

Great location and great feel to stay at this house. It was warm and inviting and furnished with any item we might need. Both the inside and outside of the house were decorated with a colorful and happy feel. The different outside areas gave everyone in our party space to relax and enjoy FL. I highly recommend this rental home and am so happy that I chose it for our family vacation.

Christmas 2022

We stayed over Christmas 2022. House was very clean and this host puts a lot of effort into making her guests feel comfortable. We have rented houses for Christmas for the past 7 years, and this was the first house we've stayed in that had Christmas decorations. We will definately check to see if this house is available when we return to this area.

Great house for a multigenerational vacation

This house was great!! It had everything we needed and then some. Super convenient to grocery stores and the beach. The only negative was that there was nothing to keep the sun out of the rooms at 6am.

Character & charm

We recently rented this beautiful home for 5 nights while staying in St. Petersburg Florida. My friends and I went for a golf trip , and attended a hockey game as well. The house was amazing. Spacious , organized , spotless and extremely comfortable!! Plenty of indoor space for sleeping and relaxing on the couch! The outdoor patios….. yes patios!! There is a front yard sitting area under a large gazebo. The backyard oasis was also amazing!!! On top of that, a screened in sunroom for evening lounging!! The host , Karina , definitely takes care you , and our many thanks to her for making our stay amazing!!! We will definitely stay again in the near future!! GK

Very nice place with a great location

We loved this Flamingo home with all of the sitting areas outside to enjoy the Florida warmth. The house fit our family of 5 just perfect with enough room for all and not be too crowded. The mother in law suite was awesome , it provided privacy and extra living space.

Home Away From Home

Everything you need is at this location. It is close to everything. I visited four different beaches while staying here. The owner provided beach chairs, beach towels, and umbrellas. The kitchen is stocked with everything you need to prepare a meal. There are two fire pits and several outdoor seating areas. Definitely a place for an extended stay. It is a quaint and beautiful home in a quiet neighborhood.

Lovely little gem!

Cozy little vacation home. The house was perfect. Loved the in law suite and how the layout of the house is set up. My favorite room in the house was the lanai room/outside! Me and my family really enjoyed ourselves. We grilled some food and chilled in the lanai room most nights. Just short drives from many different attractions and beaches. Although we went to Clearwater and Tampa mostly. Pass a grille beach was my favorite and a 6 min drive from the house. Karina (the owner) was very welcoming and did check to see if we needed anything while here. Would definitely recommend for a small family. I stayed here with my mom, her husband, my fiancé and 2 children. Everything was as described and pictures do it no justice. The decor inside and out was so nicely setup. If I ever come back to St. Petersburg, I would definitely stay here again.

The Pelican Brief

Great stay! Comfortable home with great property amenities! Only problem, the floors were not as clean as they should have been for such a nice home. Our feet were black from walking on them and the coffee pot had not been rinsed out from former use. This is a cleaning company issue, not a home/property issue. We would stay here again for sure! Enjoyed our stay immensely.

Close to it all enjoy Florida here

House was perfect setting near the beaches. Very short drives to st Pete / treasure island and others. House was perfect with an in law area. Don’t pay crazy prices and enjoy BBQ time after the beach here we really enjoyed it

I'm accessible to renters to help with any concerns during your stay and regular communication as needed. While I'm not always onsite, I have a network of people to assist in case of emergency or maintenance issues that may arise. I primarily use electronic locks for guests to check in and out, which provide convenience and ease of check-in. I work my day job frequently on zoom or phone, I can reply instantly to your requests, but it is better to contact me via messaging; text or Airbnb. I use every free moment to enjoy paradise life in St Pete Beach. I love to walk the beach, swim, bike, kayak and many other outdoor activities that the beach has to offer. I enjoy drinking wine while watching the sunset in paradise! I, along with my helpers, serve the house and 2/1 condo in Clearwater, can't wait to offer one of my homes to you as you relax and take some time away.
