Cabaña tranquila, apartada y acogedora. Nuestro río ofrece a los huéspedes un excelente agua de manantial natural para disfrutar durante horas. Ciclismo, senderismo, natación, flotación, pesca y exploración de ríos son algunas de las características de esta escapada privada en un rancho. Hermosos paisajes, vida salvaje y vistas panorámicas, crean excelentes oportunidades para tomar fotos y relajarse para su familia y amigos. Si quiere alejarse del bullicio de la tecnología, este es el lugar. Sin teléfono, sin TV, sin servicio celular, excepto algún acceso a wifi que esté cerca, si simplemente no puede arrancarse por completo.

Perfect Family Get Away

The cabin was exactly what we needed to escape the busy world. Off way-back roads with just what you need to "glamp"! The sights were beautiful. The swimming hole along the back of the property was perfect for our kiddos and the river was only a 25 minute drive away. We would absolutely stay again.

A weekend with all the family…

Great Family Get Away!

We stayed in this secluded cabin for three nights and had a wonderful time playing in the river all day and grilling, making smores at the fire pit and chasing fireflies in the evenings. The host was an absolute delight to deal with. The location is perfect if you want to be away from it all. Such a beautiful place!

Nice weekend on the Frio

Blanca was a great hostess and did all she could to make our stay enjoyable. This little house on the Frio was a perfect get away for our family. We enjoyed the fire, the one room style cabin, and the setting. The kitchen needs a few more coffee mugs but part from that, it was great!

Excellent Getaway!

We had an absolutely amazing experience staying here. There is no detail that has not been thought of. We just packed our cars and ourselves and had the best time. Sitting out by the fire pit at night was the highlight of the weekend! Will definitely return and stay here. Blanca was a superb hostess which made this stay even better!!

A perfect spot to be lazy

The location and the surrounding beauty was incredible. The cabin was clean and decorated perfectly. Blanca, the hostess, attention to detail made our stay frustration free. The wildlife was such fun to watch. The river is a short walk and is so refreshing to spend time in. The only problem we had, was our own fault. We didn't book enough days. Would definitely not make that mistake again. And also, would want to bring family back with us to enjoy this awesome location.

Little piece of Heaven on Earth

From pulling into driveway on day 1 to driving away on day 4...Our stay here was pure bliss. Isolation at its BEST! The cabin was wonderful and cozy and has everything you need to cook, except a potatoe peeler😌. A very at home feel. The porch area was wonderful and having a BBQ pit right off porch to cook from made it so convenient. The short walk to the river was nice. A little walk down the river either way gave for great swimming areas. Huge shaded trees give a wonderful breeze throughout the day. Pure enjoyment for our whole family. Kids enjoyed fishing,swimming, and making Smores at Bonfire . We would definitely recommend a stay here. You Will Not be disappointed. ❤

Far away cabin

Property was in extremely poor condition. No water in the river ! Our purpose to go there because it was by the river. Where there was water to dangerous for my handicapped husband and our grandkids, also to far. Inside the cabin was just dust and dirt . Mattresses remember a better time. It was like sleeping on a wooden floor. We paid for 3 nights plus all the extras left the next day , if it wasn’t so late we would have left same day! To us it was awful!

Cabin stay

The cabin was Cute Quaint, the waterhole close by . The only complaint I have was the cleanliness, IT WAS DIRTY ! IT NEEDED A THOUROUGH CLEANING AND ALL THE LINEN WASHED OR UPDATED EVEN THE TOWELS . THE COUNTER TOPS WERE not wiped down at all , nor the RESTROOM I'm sorry but had a strong smell of urine .I bought bleach to clean what I could. We left a day early due to not feeling comfortable or clean .Also, 1st night we could not cook due to gas being turned off .IF the property was cleaned , properly , dishes not spewed everywhere, the fridge was not cooling properly and the dirty restroom I had to clean for ourselves ..I would rate it better ..BUT SERIOUSLY,I DID NOT LET MY GRANBABY CRAWL because I didn't want him to get sick ..other than that it was nice to be with family

Best Vacation Ever!

If you have young adventurous children or your just looking for a quiet place to get away...this place is for you. We had 7 in our group and 4 of them were children ranging from 5 to 14. The kids loved the fact that the river was right behind the cabin. Keep in mind that you have to explore a little to find the water hole that's right for you. We found that if you go left the water is warmer and right is a very cold deep hole. We had absolutely no cell service which to us was the best part. The cabin was fully furnished like Ms. Blanca stated. My only recommendations would be to bring some music (we were unable to pick up anything on the radio), bring some laundry soap because you do have access to a washing machine and dryer and if you are interested in having some adult beverages bring that as well (the county is dry and its about an hour to the next available town). We drove to Concan twice to float the river at Neal's. Our kids absolutely loved this vacation and they are already chomping at the bit to book the same cabin for next year. The memories they made here will last a life time.

Really Getting Away from It All

Quiet location in a development of cottages and houses. Right on the Dry Frio, but a bit of a drive to Garner Park and the main Frio River. House has everything promised, but it is a work in progress with obvious mid-renovation wallboard and unfinished electrical work. Owner is very accessible.

It was an excellent experience, secluded place with a private access to the river and at night you can enjoy the fireflies! My kids had an awesome time. Great communication with Blanca, she treated us like family. :)

Great rustic cabin away from it all. Swimming hole short distance from the house was enjoyed by the kids. Wildlife galore. Host was super friendly and responsive to needs.

Quiet and peaceful getaway!

We enjoyed our stay at this property . It was so quiet and peaceful. The huge oak trees in the back are awesome. Our kids chased the fire flys at dusk and we also enjoyed a campfire. Blanca was sooooo nice and accommodating. We completely enjoyed our stay!

Outstanding, Peaceful, and secluded

The property is located in a great spot and river access is a short walk. The kids enjoyed the walk through the trails. Waterhole felt very private as our family were the only ones there all day. We also enjoyed the kayak that was available at the rental but not the floats as we did not have an air pump. Very clean and AC worked great. Blanca is very communicative, informative, and attentive prior and throughout the stay. Will definitely be staying there again in the near future.

Dry Frio fun!

We had a wonderful time! The access to the river was perfect and easy to get to. Not crowded at all! The water in the river was flowing, but not quickly making it perfect for our young children to swim. Blanca is very kind and helpful! She was so easy to talk to and made sure we were ready for our trip!
