Edificio histórico, lugar tranquilo en el hermoso condado de Lancaster, Stella Side

El edificio de 200 años era originalmente un granero. Sirvió a la casa que ahora es The Artist's Inn and Gallery (una romántica cama y desayuno en Terre HIll). A través de los años, ha almacenado un pequeño avión, cigarros fabricados localmente, y fue el lugar favorito de la ciudad para que los niños jueguen hasta fines de la década de 1980. Luego se convirtió en dos unidades.
Lo hemos llamado la Casa de las Hermanas y este lado lleva el nombre de mi tía Stella. Hay dos amplios dormitorios (rey y una reina) arriba, con un baño en la sala. El dormitorio principal también tiene un televisor. El baño tiene una ducha y bañera.
En la planta baja se admiten las rodillas y las caderas, ¡no hay pasos! La cocina completamente equipada tiene capacidad para seis. Hay una amplia sala de estar, baño con ducha y dormitorio de matrimonio. También puede usar la lavadora y la secadora. La sala de estar tiene TV con ROKU y Netflix. El sofá cama se despliega para acomodar a dos personas con muchas sábanas, almohadas y mantas.
La mejor habitación de la casa es la terraza acristalada, podrá ver increíbles amaneceres y las vistas de las granjas del valle de Weaverland, algunas de las tierras agrícolas más ricas del condado de Lancaster.
En la planta baja hay un porche cubierto con muchos muebles, una parrilla y una hamaca. Siéntase libre de disfrutar también de la fogata que compartirá con los huéspedes de la posada.
The Sisters House está en una calle sin salida, lo que garantiza tranquilidad y seguridad. Podrás escuchar a los carritos amish y menonitas cuando pasen para ir al negocio de la partera a la vuelta de la esquina. Está a un corto paseo del parque Terre Hill Memorial Community, donde hay canchas de tenis, cancha de voleibol de arena, diamante de softball y un gran área de juegos para niños. En los meses de verano, puede almorzar en el pabellón, los ingresos ayudan a mantener el parque.

Great house and very peaceful neighborhood

Had a great stay here. Quiet and peaceful neighborhood. The back patio was very relaxing place to hangout and chill. Very close to many attractions and beautiful Amish country.

Wonderful, charming country apartment

We stayed here with our friends (4 adults, 4 kids) and really enjoyed it. There is a charming porch to sit on and the hosts provide breakfast foods and baked goods. We would definitely stay here again.

Great weekend away in Lancaster county. Hosts were super nice and welcoming, place was clean and well stocked with local and home made items (everything was super yummy). We all decided we would definitely book another weekend get away here.

Visit to the Amish country

This is a comfortable place to stay. Fantastic hosts - they had left yummy snacks and all we needed for breakfast. The beds are very comfortable and the sunroom is a fantastic place to eat breakfast and chat.

Great Stay

We had a great time at the Stella Sister House. The sunroom, backyard and breakfast ingredients were wonderful. With two little ones there was plenty to do and family friendly. The owners were great with communication and assisting in different ways.

Felt like our own home.

We stayed for 7 weeks at Stella unit while our own home was being remodeled. Jan and Bruce were wonderful, the rental was clean and comfortable surrounded by a stunning garden. I would recommend staying here for a couple or a family... very relaxing and peaceful.

Great place for a short getaway

We had a great time here. For me a place needs to be clean to feel comfortable, and we felt comfortable here. So comfortable we spent most of our time at the house! Jan was very accommodating and the breakfast supplies and baked goods were delicious and a thoughtful touch. We have a 4 yr old and a 1 yr old and it was a great place for them as well.

Great vacation rental!

Very clean, comfortable and well equipped.Jan and Bruce are very accommodating and helpful. We enjoyed visiting with them in the gallery! The cookie jar was full of delicious cookies and breakfast goodies were povided for our first day. Would definitely recommend.

Wonderful restful time.

We both enjoyed our stay in Stella. We arrived on a Wed. and unfortunately, I was in Urgent Care on Thurs with bronchitis. The Stella was the perfect location for me to rest during the day while hubby antiqued the area. A wonderful grocery with a delicious deli is not far and we used it for several meals.

Perfect Getaway

The Sisters House was just as described. We stayed on the Stella side. It was so peaceful and the location was perfect for all of the outings we had planned. It was so clean and had everything we needed. The sun porch was the best part along with the amazing baked goods and breakfast treats! We will definitely be back!

Sisters House is wonderful!

We stayed on the Stella side. It was spotless! Very nicely decorated with everything you need to be comfortable and make nice dinners. The sunroom is The Best! I was in there every morning with my coffee and crochet - so sunny and peaceful. We hope to return many times when we visit family in the area!

Girls weekend

It was the perfect little get away for our girls weekend. Conveniently located. We didn’t check in until after dark so I did drive right past the drive way but Bruce came right out to help. We loved that they had breakfast items there for us and fresh baked goodies. So yummy!! We will be back again.

Unique, quiet and Homey

We had a great time staying here with our children and grandchildren. The nearby park is an easy walking distance and a great source of entertainment! The grounds are also very beautiful with lots of flowers and birds. The inside was everything we could ask for! The beds were comfortable, plenty of seating, well-supplied kitchen, wonderful breakfast food supplied by the owner! We never even turned on the TV, there were so many other things to do!

Comfortable & Gracious

My husband and I came to the area to visit family. We felt so welcomed in this home. Upon our arrival we found bake goods on the table, and all the ingredients (egg, bread, sausage, milk, OJ, cereal) to make breakfast in the morning. Also, there was a cookie jar full of homemade cookies that we really enjoyed. The home was very comfortable and clean. The king bed was super comfortable with nice silky sheets. We really enjoyed the sunroom that overlooked the plains. Thank you for making us so comfortable. We felt so loved by your hospitality.

Perfect getaway

We loved our short stay on the Stella side of the Sisters House this weekend! The check in and out process was seamless, the property is clean and super well-stocked, spacious, and inviting. The neighborhood is so quiet we heard the clip clop of horse hooves as we woke up this morning. Loved the brownies and TONS of cookies in the cookie jar (all of which I couldn’t have even eaten, there were so many!) as well as the generous breakfast items including a delicious peach bread, eggs, cheese, and apple sausage. Keurig and washer dryer were such nice conveniences. Very quiet and relaxing stay! Thank you!

Wonderful getaway

We had an amazing getaway at the Stella House. The property is just as listed. Clean and no surprises! We cooked our meals in the fully stocked kitchen and enjoyed eating on the porch while taking in the beautiful surroundings. Breakfast was great and certainly enough for 2 days. We spent some time at the fire pit (must have smore's even if evenings are chilly) and investigated the ecclectic grounds. All activities that we wanted to do were within a 30-35 minute scenic drive. So many cute details. I loved the fact that the name of the pattern of dishes was "Stella". Thanks for a great getaway. Look forward to a return visit with family.

6 of us had a fun weekend! We used all three bedrooms and the pullout couch. The hostess provided streaming with Amazon Prime and Roku. The family had nice nights in the 4 season room for games and carving pumpkins. Friday night family enjoyed their outdoors by roasting marshmallows and making s'mores. The lighting and design is picturesque! My son relaxed in the hammock every chance he had during the weekend. The kitchen is well stocked with cookware and tools. The hostess has open communication, and you won't be disappointed!!!

My husband, Bruce, and I own The Artist's Inn and Gallery, a small bed and breakfast that we opened in 1997. It is located right next door to the Sisters House. I love gardening and cooking. Bruce is a self-employed artist, specializing in colored pencil whimsical drawings and books.

When we learned that the Sisters House was part of our original property, we longed to own it. When it finally became available in 2005, we jumped at the chance but didn't want to push out the long-term renters. When they left in 2016, we knew that the time had come to decorate (ooooo, so much fun!) and share it with others. We love Lancaster County and enjoy sharing our special area with guests.

Oh, if these walls could talk - they'd tell you about the scores of kids that used to gather in the barn to play for decades. Of course, it was also a place of countless cigars for a local cigar manufacturer, the owner of our B&B! You'll love the views out the back and the pace of the buggies clip-clopping by will relax you. We've surrounded the building with flowers, added a sunroom and shaded patio, grills and a fire pit.
