The condo is in a great location. We enjoyed morning coffee and evening cocktails on the balcony. The hotel property is conveniently located next to the beach and we had an excellent breakfast at the hotel restaurant.

First time in Hawaii

I was really nervous about this trip because I was depending on accurate descriptions and reviews for everything, as I had no experience with traveling to Hawaii. This unit was exactly as it showed. Even the views of the beach and lagoon. It was awesome. The building that the unit was in was comfortable with eateries and a few shops. Easy walk to downtown Waikīkī. The parking was a bit expensive but 100% worth it and they were quick about getting your vehicle. We had front row seats for the Friday night Hilton fireworks from our balcony. Excellent stay and great location!

The View was awesome

I hate to be negative but I found it needed an update to clean the walls/paint. The bathroom is in need of a complete new bathroom (renovation). The kitchen area was just okay & the living space the couch was very uncomfortable as the bed & the pillows were horrible bc they were just too soft.

Almost perfect

The description of property is accurate. View is amazing, kitchen was well stocked and plenty of lines and towels. It is kept up well, as is the hotel in general. You rent this for the location and it does not disappoint. Walk to the beach is minutes. Our only complaint was that as of 10/5/24 the Hilton next door is having a strike and we did not know about it. The strikers are loud everyday and it made using the lanai impossible without getting a headache. Other than that issue would definitely stay again!

Perfect for our Hawaiian vacation

The ilikai hotel was great for the two of us. Close to shopping and restaurants. The views from the hotel were awesome and everything was as described by the owner! 5 stars!

The furniture on the lanai was comfortable as was the new chair in the livingroom area.Best of all was the contact people we spoke to during our 2 month stay. Quick response to our questions and very satisfactory in every way. I we highly recommend Ali'i which is why we have put a deposit down on another condo for 2025.

Decent getaway in the heart of Waikiki

Fireworks display directly in view from the Balcony staring over the Lagoon.Hotel building itself was very clean, welcoming and had a diverse selection of shops on 1st floor. Room itself was very clean and comfortable with everything needed to be self contained... including beach chairs and small lunch bag/ cooler. Public transportation bus stop directly in front of building. Takes you all around the city... the island.. and to/ from airport for $3.00.Cabs and Uber were organized in front drive entryway. Everyone was pleasant.Paved walkway around the beach directly from the Hotel. Cheapest parking 2 buildings away from Hotel or available in Hotel for higher cost. Small groceries at almost every corner... grocery store about 1 mile walk. Public transportation has an app and shows maps and route times... was extremely accurate.Room itself has great air conditioning only needed heavier or another blanket... and a few dish rags. Laundry at end of hallway and worked fine. Laundry baskets provided in the room. A dozen hangers in closet Iron board and Iron also worked. Vacuum.. mop.. broom provided.Keurig coffee maker... toaster... blender... rice cooker all worker well and were clean. Nothing scary about the building.. hallways.. elevators...or the room.Didn’t use the pools but they looked very clean... and looked inviting.This was a last minute trip(5 day planning time) and it worked out well. Very comfortable.. not spooked by the building or the room. Location was good. Price was respectable.

Would stay again for sure!

I looked and looked for the right spot for my daughter’s 16 th bday. It was just me and her best friend (so three of us.) It couldn’t have been a better spot and we could easily walk to beach or other areas with fun restaurant/shops. The management texted me upon arrival and asked if we needed anything. I said a couple extra pillows and another blanket would be great. Within two hours they delivered two more brand new pillows and a fuzzy blanket! Great view too!

Ilikai Staycation

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The room was as was described. We mainly booked this room so that we could get a good view of the fireworks on Friday night, and it did not disappoint. We had the perfect view! The kitchen was fully equiped with everything we needed to cook for ourselves, which we did a couple of days to save money. The only complaint we had is that there was a leak from a higher floor prior to our stay, and when we checked into the room, there was in industrial fan and humidifier on full blast in the bathroom. Propert management didn't know about this till we brought it to their attention. Security and maintenance had to stop by our room twice to ask if they could come in to look in the bathroom. We had to decline them once as my child was using the bathroom at the time, and the second time, he came in to check the moisture in the walls and found out that it was 99%! He said that he needed to put the fan and humidifier back indefinitely! We told him we were only there for one more day, so he kindly agreed to leave it alone for the rest of our stay. Things happen, but it would have been nice if we were offered to stay in another location if the unit was not in the right condition to allow guests.
