Esta casa se encuentra a 50 pies del Majestic Potato Lake.
Duerme ocho (8) cómodamente. Le permite las comodidades modernas para cocinar, dormir y relajarse. Todos los electrodomésticos nuevos y recientemente renovado plano de planta. Fishing trip

This is the 3rd time my husband & his friend have stayed here. The fishing & weather were great! Mosquitoes were a little large, though!

Gorgeous View

Gorgeous view with a GIANT fire pit. Hosts even provided wood for our stay-above and beyond! Bring bug spray (it is on the lake after all), leave the electronics at home (no Wi-fi!) and prepare to relax. 😊

Overall a decent experience

Location was great. Cabin was nice. Communication was good. No trash on site. We found items inside bedding, such as clothes and food.

Can’t say enough good things about this stay! Cabin was just as described, dock was perfect for our 3 boats, fire pit was awesome. Fishing was great as well, could have easily limited on BIG crappies/bluegill every day and caught some really nice largemouth. While the cabin has everything needed to cook, I strongly suggest going across the lake to the Lured In Resort for both breakfast and dinner. Great people and their pizza is top notch! Overall awesome stay and we will be back!

Quiet Geyaway

Lisa and Todd, we really enjoyed staying at your cabin. We didn't spend much time in the cabin itself, but the area is amazing, so quiet and peaceful. We fished, enjoyed the nature and campfire. It was our first time and definitely not the last one. Thank you one more time!

Summer Bliss

Great little get away in the woods! Brought projector with our own movies to make up for no internet or TV (teens and kids plus us need to have down time too!) We enjoyed the great fishing, swimming off the dock, even rented a boat from TJ’s to cruise the lake one day! Property was just what we were looking for! Property manager was quick to respond to any questions and very accommodating!! Thanks for a great time!

Great spot on the lake

Small cabin overall, claims to sleep 8 comfortably but this is not true unless you have a bunch of kids. Some things were a bit broken but well stocked in the kitchen and with towels etc. The fridge in the kitchen was not working but there was an older one on the porch we used, owner did try to get it repaired but was not fixable. Good communication from the owner overall

Should have railing on front step as front threshold loose and moves causing balance issues. Coffee pot clean, but machine not cleaned out. Smell needs to be aired out. Dresser not stable in large bedroom. Kitchen floor not level. Thank you for cutting up fallen tree and stack to side. Loved location and friendly neighborhoods. Ate at their place, brought our own bedding, bunk bed nice, but large bed no so. Nice couch and counter. Very little for cleaning to be done. Take care

ALWAYS a great time!

This was out 3rd time staying at this location-we like this spot on the lake, and the dock is literally perfect for fishing and enjoying the lake.One of the lakes 'hot spots' for bluegill, crappie and sunfish, is right at the end of the dock and in the lily pads to the immediate left and right. Thank goodness for the screened in porch-the mosquitoes were vicious and plentiful due to lots of spring rains-and we utilized the it nearly every night. Wildlife is amazing in this area. In addition to a plethora of fish right off the dock, there are eagles, loons, and a great blue heron that lives nearby. The view cannot be beat. We bring an inflatable mattress for the living room (which is technically the 3rd bedroom) because the fold out couch is horrible (as they all are- is not unique to this place) and we remembered to bring camp chairs which we used on the screen porch and in the living room. (there is a picnic table on the porch as well) We did not use the massive fire-pit (which has an impressive grill top) because of the mosquitoes, but we've utilized it in the past, and it is exceptional. (2 of the 3 of us have skin reactions to bug sprays, so sitting outside at night is challenging) The hosts are very responsive, and part of the reason we have booked in the past-we know if there was an issue, it would be taken care of immediately.

Perfect, as always!

This was our 2nd stay here, and there will be a 3rd! The location is, quite literally, perfect. The accommodations are just right for the 3 of us, I cannot say enough about the dock-I know it seems stupid to rave about such a thing, but for those who fish, it's a big deal! The right size, perfect location, a terrific bench ON the dock, and you'll think I'm making this up, but some of the best fishing is RIGHT THERE! Lilly beds to the right, and just the right depth for bluegill and crappie. We could hardly keep up they were biting so fast. The fire pit is above ground and substantial-we grilled out 2 meals, and appreciated having a supply of wood already provided. The kitchen has everything imaginable. ( although we brought a cheese plane this time-next year I'll bring an extra to leave behind! This is Wisconsin, Land of Cheeseheads, after all! haha!) The screen room is ESSENTIAL to enjoying the night sounds-LOTS of loons, cranes,eagles, and ducks! and the coolest thing-I saw my first firefly of the summer. The mosquitoes are vicious, as expected, but the screen room makes it possible to still enjoy the incredible lake view and sunsets without bug spray. We stayed in early June (2023) and unlike many cabins 'up north' there is an air conditioner available.and we used it briefly 2ce. I have MS, and getting overheated is an issue-it's one of the reasons we returned to this place, rather than 2 of the other resorts on Potato Lake we had stayed at previously. 'till 2024!

FANTASTIC location, hosts, and cottage!

This is a near perfect property! We absolutely LOVED staying here. The cottages on either side were vacant the week we stayed, adding to the privacy factor. (even if they had been occupied, they are not terribly close) The cabin was super clean, beds were comfy (the main guest room bed was NOT squeaky, as mentioned in prior reviews, so that's been modified, haha!) and the screened in porch is a life saver when mosquitoes are out!!!! The fire pit is massive, and we used the grill on top of it for a few meals. Wonderful place all around! The only reason I gave one point off is on accuracy of listing is it is not a 3 bedroom, as one bed is the fold out couch in the living room. (which is terribly uncomfortable-as all fold-outs are!) but we took one of the twin mattresses out of the bunk room and placed it on top. It does sleep 8 though, as there are 4 singles in the bunk room, a queen in the 'master' (which is not shown in the photos, but should be!) and the fold out. A prior guest had buried their fish heads on the side of the house, and of course wildlife dug it up-so there needs to be something in place for that, as it smelled overwhelmingly of rotting fish outside when we arrived. (we are related to the fellow who owns the island in front of the property, and he disposed of ours) Nice towels, the kitchen has everything imaginable, beds are comfy, and hosts were very responsive when contact was made. We met the housekeeper as we were leaving, and she is also very kind. Fishing on Potato Lake is the best anywhere, and they go crazy 5-7 am and 7-9 pm. There is a GREAT dock with this property, and we caught a lot of crappie and bluegills right off the dock. There is a nice bench on it as well, which is perfect for watching the magnificent sunsets. Eagles are EVERYWHERE, we heard loons each night, and a heron was often right across the water near the island. Overall, it's a fantastic place. We loved it :) and are planning to book again the same time next year!

Excellent property!

We had the BEST time at this cabin! Everything was great and the owners were very easy to contact and super friendly! The cabin had all the comforts of home. The view from the cabin is spectacular. We would definitely stay here again!

Enjoyable stay.

like most places the cabin has its pluses and minuses. The screened in porch is nice to have but could be cleaner and the storage shed more organized, The location on the lake is good and the shade in the back is a plus. The extra refrig on the porch is a big plus. A place to clean fish would be a big improvement,. a better selection of small / midsize pans, a can opener and toaster that works. and tv trays. would all be well received.

Fishing trip

My husband & his friend spent their second year here for a fishing trip. Everything was clean & in order when they arrived. The fishing was great & the cabin location was perfect. Great place!

Perfect Fishing Weekend

The cabin was perfect for our fishing weekend. Great, central location on Potato Lake. The kitchen has everything you need. Would definitely stay here again and hope to make it an annual trip. Property owner was fantastic to work with and very responsive.

What's a wonderful experience at this cabin/house. We were pretty familiar with potato Lake in the past but haven't been there In many years, this was our first time at this place and it is the Best, we rented a boat down the street, we were there 4 days, it is a great cabin, very cozy, right on the water,,,, love love love
