Kiahuna Plantation # 57 ~ Jardín Paraíso en Poipu Beach!

Disfrute el paraíso tropical de Kiahuna Plantation, una de las más amplias propiedades en la isla. La propiedad cuenta con 35 acres de jardines bien cuidados y jardines tropicales que conducen a una hermosa playa en forma de media luna y las aguas tranquilas del océano. Los apartamentos son de poca altura hawaiana estilo plantación con mucho espacio en el medio para dar un paseo o jugar juegos en los grandes jardines. Kiahuna es el único complejo de condominios frente al mar en Poipu.

Nuestro condominio está ubicado en una excelente ubicación en el jardín ya dos minutos a pie de la playa. Estamos en el primer piso, la unidad # 57 en el edificio # 11. La terraza se abre a la derecha para el césped. Hay una mesa y sillas y tumbonas para relajarse. Nuestro baño fue remodelado con baldosas de travertino, el dormitorio cuenta con una cama nueva (agosto de 2013) y un refrigerador y lavaplatos nuevos. Estamos haciendo continuamente mejoras. Hay conexión a internet por cable, y hemos comprado un router inalámbrico para ordenadores portátiles pueden ser retirados en la terraza con facilidad. Una parrilla de la barbacoa se encuentra en frente de nuestra unidad. No hay necesidad de conducir a la lavandería como también somos unos pasos.

Frentes Kiahuna una hermosa playa en forma de medialuna, donde se puede nadar, snorkel, boogie-board y el surf. La playa está protegida por un arrecife. Se proporcionan sillas de cortesía y toallas de playa.

Este alquiler viene con acceso al Athletic Club Poipu, situado al otro lado de la calle de Kiahuna Plantation, que incluye el uso gratuito de los siguientes:
• Fantástica piscina con tobogán, zona de playa niño (ambiente ideal para los niños!), Salones y sombrillas.
• Pistas de tenis y máquina de bolas (sólo pregunte!)
• Pesos, máquinas elípticas, bicicletas fijas, cintas de correr, pesas tipo Nautilus, sala de cardio con aire acondicionado.
Por una pequeña tarifa, también hay una serie de clases para elegir, entre ellas, aeróbic acuático, Core, Yoga, entrenamiento esencial y yoga.


El Poipu Shopping Village y Kiahuna Golf Course también están cruzando la calle. El Poipu Bay Golf Course es una milla de la carretera.

Lovely Location

Kauai time

We stayed here 15 years ago under another owner and the unit did not disappoint! It was as advertised, and there were beach items available to be used. The kitchen was stocked with additional dishes to make it easier for our group of three families to congregate from other units that were not as well equipped. Thanks for making this a great family trip!

We love this property. The gardens are so beautiful and it's so close to one of the best beaches in Kauai. This condo was great - clean, comfortable and quiet with a beautiful grassy lanai and a 2 minute walk to the beach.

Great location!

Condo is great - lots of light makes it feel open and spacious. Lanai feels like a private area with the trees blocking neighboring condos view. Short walk to the beach and several restaurants. Easy walk to Poipu Beach to snorkel and see the seals and turtles.

Check in after hours was exactly as described. This property is so lovely with the green space and right on the beach. Athletic club was great too, kids loved the pool and parents could choose to exercise or get an adult beverage!

What paradise should be

I loved staying here. It what paradise should be…waking up to the sounds of birds singing, the wind through the trees, and occasional rain. The property was beautiful and the condo was exactly as expected. The condo was very lovely with its Hawaiian charm. Check in was super easy and the staff was very friendly. I would go back in a heartbeat.

Refreshing and restful stay

We had a most fabulous time in Popiu this visit (our 3rd). The condo was clean and represented well on the listing. Our only wish would have been for it to include some folding beach chairs as the stairs near the beach shed were washed out and the ones we could use for 'free' were too cumbersome to get to the shore. All in all, our visit was just what we desired and we wanted to stay longer! Thank you!

Lovely Setting

We have stayed at Kiahuna Plantation several times before, so we had something to compare this condo with. The kitchen needs to be updated (in fact, the refrigerator stopped working while there), and the upholstery and rugs need a good cleaning. The bedroom needs more lighting. Otherwise, the place was a fine home away from home, comfortable with a lovely location on the grounds.

Bathroom sink

On the next to the last day of our stay, the drain plug would not stay in the open position to drain the water. We had to use one hand to hold the drain open whenever we ran the water and didn’t want to fill the sink up. That was the only problem we had. Just telling you so you know about it for the next guest(s). Otherwise we loved our stay.

A nice place to stay on Kauai

We enjoyed our stay here. Very relaxing. The condo had everything we needed. We got daily towels and beach chairs and were able to rent a beach umbrella for our stay. We were entertained by the chicken family that hung out by our patio. We hope to come again!

Kauai Paradise

Kiahuna Plantation is our favorite place on Kauai and we’ve stayed there twice before, so we knew what to expect of the lovely grounds and beach areas. The condo we rented this trip was exactly as we expected and we enjoyed a fabulous 10 days in paradise. We would definitely rent this condo again.

Nice condo in great location

Very nice unit in great location. Check in was a little odd with Castle. Due to Covid limits, we had to do the check in standing outside on their porch but it was understandable. Unit had everything we needed to cook and had plenty of room for the two of us. Saw boogie boards though we didn’t use them. Fridge was rattling a bit so might want to check that out, but didn’t bother us too much or keep us awake. We had some issues keeping the bugs out. We always kept the screens closed but they kept coming in somewhere. Bed was firm but very comfortable. Coffee pot didn’t work (seemed shorted out) but we called the front desk and they rushed us over a new one right away. There was a rooster that serenaded us at all hours but we managed to keep the noise out at night by closing the shutters. An extra standing fan would be nice as we had an issue keeping the place cool, even with the ceiling fans on and shutters open during the day. Overall, a great place and is well kept.

Poipu beach

My adult niece and I really enjoyed our stay here. The condo is a very short walk to the beach with plenty of beach chairs and access to beach. Very friendly workers and grounds were beautiful. I would definitely stay here again. cons: no air conditioner which was fine for April but maybe not August, the pool was a very long walk across a busy street and up a hill at the shared athletic club which leads to my 2nd con, you really need a car. Very limited car services like Uber etc.

Beautiful 1st floor, steps to the beach

We loved the condo and were pleased that it was so close to the beach. The entire community is nicely manicured. It was nice to casually sit on the lanai and experience the bird sounds and a cute Bird of Paradise plant in bloom right there! This unit is close to the parking lot as well, so it didn't take a long time to lug suitcases. Check in was a little odd. This is not your typical VRBO -- it is a resort, getting bookings through VRBO, so there is a typical main office to check-in at. They were right on site for toubleshooting, however, so it was great. (had WiFi issue on arrival). Walls may be a little thin (kids next door at one point). Great launching point for south shore activities!! Would definitely come here again, and likely seek the same unit, although others looked equally appealing.
