2 Walled Garden Cottages es un encantador hogar lejos del hogar, ubicado en el pueblo de West Wittering, a solo 10 minutos a pie de la playa. Con tiendas, cafés, restaurantes y pubs literalmente en su puerta, esta encantadora casa de campo se encuentra en el lugar perfecto para disfrutar de todo lo que Witterings tiene para ofrecer.



La gran sala de estar es un lugar cómodo para acurrucarse después de un día en la arena caliente o incluso en un retiro de invierno. Acogedor frente al fuego eléctrico y mira una película en el reproductor de dvd / blu ray en la televisión de buen tamaño. La cocina moderna y bien equipada tiene todo lo que necesita para auto abastecerse efectivamente durante su estancia, con nevera / congelador, lavavajillas, microondas, horno y vitrocerámica. En la parte trasera de la casa es un comedor acristalado con vistas al jardín trasero patio. Este es un espacio ideal para tomar una copa o almorzar al sol, con la opción de abrir las puertas del patio al comedor para que pueda usarse junto con el patio como uno solo. Con paredes altas, aunque se encuentre en el corazón del pueblo, no hay que preocuparse por la privacidad.


El primer piso de la casa tiene 2 dormitorios. El primero tiene una cama doble, además de a & ldquo; día-cama y rdquo; que, o bien se puede utilizar como un sofá o saca a proporcionar una cama doble extra. La segunda habitación tiene dos camas individuales en el mismo. También hay un moderno baño familiar con ducha sobre la bañera. Hay un espacio de estacionamiento asignado para la cabaña, que se encuentra en un área de estacionamiento en la parte trasera de la cabaña.

Lovely cottage

A lovely, cozy, well equipped cottage, perfect for a stay in the Witterings. The only negative was that the mattress’s and pillows may be ready for replacing.

We had an amazing time!

Lovely house, with all the equipment needed for a confortable stay. The house is spotless with an off street car park at the back. Walking distance to the amazing beach of West Wittering and a great pub with a lovely back garden. We will definitely go back.

Great location close to a wondererful beach

Thank you for the time at your cosy cottage. Our family felt very comfortable. The cottage is close to the beautiful West Wittering beach. Moreover there's a little supermarket next door so that we enjoyed doing the cooking in the well-equipped kitchen, having breakfast in the morning sun and having a BBQ in the small garden. Chichester and Arundel are worth a visit, but on a rainy day it had also been nice to relax with a book on the sofa in the cottage.

Disappointing Accommodation

This accommodation is sub-par. Although clean enough, it is badly lit and care worn. We had no landing light all week and when we changed the bulb, it still wouldn't work. All the bedding needs replacing as it is thin and old and there is a horrible rusty old loo roll holder in the bathroom which needs throwing out. The place is generally badly lit ans gloomy. It feels like nobody cares about the place or about the poor people who spend their main holiday of the year there... We had to wade through ankle deep water to get ot the car after several showers - the parking area needs redeveloping - and the parking bays need numbering. Please do not reply that we could have contacted you during the holiday as these weren't emergencies or urgent sobit wasn't warranted. The whole property simply needs some urgent attention.

Great location but needs modernisation

2 Walled Garden was spacious enough and close enough to the beach. Unfortunately the lounge/dining area could do with modernisation. It felt dark, old and carpets were stained. The shower was over the bath was a not very powerful and tricky to wash long hair. The kitchen was bright but the cutlery and crockery was filthy dirty and had to be washed before using. The only dinner plates do not fit into the dishwasher and had to be washed by hand. It was dusty and dirty under all the beds upstairs and the bed linen was old and outdated. The whole place was just a bit grubby all round which was such a shame as the its lovely location.

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. We do feel the photographs of 2 Walled Garden Cottages represent the property well. The lounge and dining area are photographed as they are. I will certainly pass your comments to the hosts for future . The shower is difficult to change unfortunately due to the style of the shower and water pressure in the area. I am very sorry to read your complaints in respect of cleaning. The property was professionally cleaned throughout before you arrived. I have asked that a deep clean be done and check before the next booking. If you had let us know during your booking we would certainly have sent the cleaners back over immediately to rectify any problems. I hope you enjoyed your stay regardless.

Review for 2 Walled Garden Cottages

A well kept and clean cottage located in the village of West Wittering. You have a small convenience store next door and local restaurants, pub and the famous West Wittering beach about a 15-20 minutes walk away. Also the start of the Salterns Way trail if you love to walk through the countryside up to central Chichester through Itchener, Birdham Pond Marina, Chichester Marina and Dell Key. Total walk takes about 2 1/2 hours +/- but you can also cycle it if you have bikes. Can fully recommend the cottage as a place to stay.

Summer 2020

We had a lovely few days away, the house and location were just perfect. Parking was a slight issue we arrived home on a few occasions to find no where to park as someone was in the allocated space. As you know West Wittering is an hour only on the main road and the other streets are blocked off by residents.

Wonderful stay in a wonderful location

My family and I had a wonderful time staying in this property. Home from home, everything you need is there. The house is very cosy and a great location for beach walks and a short drive to Chichester. Would definitely stay again.

The house is just what we like in the right situation- our holiday was amazing and Henry Adams always so helpful. It suits all ages of children and we all were extremely comfortable.

Comfy Cottage in the Witterings

Comfortable cottage in West Wittering with everything you need. Nicely furnished and lovely bedding and towels provided. Just next to a little shop with a lovely butcher/Deli oppositie and a nice gift shop. Pub within walking distance and we had a lovely there with friendly service. Beach is a pleasant stroll away. House has a parking space behind and has a little courtyard to sit outside. Down side of the shop next door is a little noise but wasn’t a deal breaker for us. Good value for a cottage in a good location. Lovely area to explore!

What a find!

Have just spent the most perfect two weeks in West Wittering at this fab little house. We know the area very well and have been visiting for years but wanted a more permanent base than our usual b and b. We were not disappointed. The house itself has everything you need and more, the owners have thought of everything... including a rather comfy dog basket! Very well received by our two hounds. The rooms are clean, well furnished and comfortable. We loved sitting in the sun room for breakfast. There are three tv's and Sky for rainy days...should you tire of the Beach. All mod cons provided. The house itself is very conveniently placed for the village shop and butcher (recommended) and the bus stop to Chichester is just out front. Very regular and goes via East Wittering too. Lots of lovely local pubs and of course that wonderful beach. 20 mins walk away or 10 min cycle. The sunsets are stunning... whatever time of year you visit. The only downside is the main road traffic. On a sunny summer's day it queues for hours to get into the Beach car park...but on the upside you won't see it as you will smugly have been able to walk down without the hassle. Very good value for money... We were sad to leave, but will be back!!!

Perfect holiday in West Wittering

We arrived on Friday afternoon to brilliant sunshine & it never left us for the whole week. Fantastic location & wonderful beach(es) apart from all the traffic at weekends to get to the beach, but we were close enough to walk. Both dogs had a wonderful time & loved swimming in the sea. We would all highly recommend this property.

2 walled gardens

A great, dog friendly home from home place to stay. A nice and easy 10 minute walk to the beach and only a short drive to the bigger towns and Chichester. The cottage has everything you might need and handily has the local shop a few doors away.
